1IO canterò un cantico di benignità e di giudicio; Io te lo salmeggerò, o Signore.
1Ein Psalm Davids. Von Gnade und Recht will ich singen und dir, HERR, lobsagen.
2Io comporrò una maestrevol canzone intorno alla via intiera. Quando verrai a me? Io camminerò nell'integrità del mio cuore Dentro alla mia casa.
2Ich handle vorsichtig und redlich bei denen, die mir zugehören, und wandle treulich in meinem Hause.
3Io non mi proporrò davanti agli occhi cosa alcuna scellerata; Io odio i fatti degli sviati; Niuno di essi mi starà appresso.
3Ich nehme mir keine böse Sache vor; ich hasse den Übeltäter und lasse ihn nicht bei mir bleiben.
4Il cuor perverso si dipartirà da me; Io non conoscerò il malvagio.
4Ein verkehrtes Herz muß von mir weichen; den Bösen leide ich nicht.
5Io sterminerò chi sparlerà in segreto contro al suo prossimo; Io non comporterò l'uomo con gli occhi altieri, E col cuor gonfio.
5Der seinen Nächsten heimlich verleumdet, den vertilge ich; ich mag den nicht, der stolze Gebärde und hohen Mut hat.
6Io avrò l'occhio sugli uomini leali della terra A ciò che dimorino meco; Chi cammina per la via intiera mi servirà.
6Meine Augen sehen nach den Treuen im Lande, daß sie bei mir wohnen; und habe gerne fromme Diener.
7Chi usa frode nelle sue opere non abiterà dentro alla mia casa; Chi parla menzogne non sarà stabilito davanti agli occhi miei.
7Falsche Leute halte ich nicht in meinem Hause; die Lügner gedeihen bei mir nicht.
8Ogni mattina io distruggerò tutti gli empi del paese; Per isterminar dalla Città del Signore Tutti gli operatori d'iniquità.
8Jeden Morgen will ich vertilgen alle Gottlosen im Lande, daß ich alle Übeltäter ausrotte aus der Stadt des HERRN.
