1І рече Господь Мойсейові в Синайському степу, в соборному наметї, на первий день другого місяця, у другому роцї по виходї із Египецької землї, і каже:
1The LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the Tent of Meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
2Перелїчіть усю громаду синів Ізрайлевих, по поколїннях їх, по батьківських домах їх, по лїчбі імен їх, усїх музького полу по головах їх.
2“Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, every male, one by one,
3Од двайцяти років і старше, кожного, що зможе стояти в військовій лаві Ізраїля; перелїчуйте їх по полках їх, ти з Ароном,
3from twenty years old and upward, all who are able to go out to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall count them by their divisions.
4І буде в вас один чоловік для кожного поколїння, чоловік, що є головою в батьківському дому свойму.
4With you there shall be a man of every tribe, each one head of his fathers’ house.
5І се ймена тих, що стояти муть із вами: Від Рубена: Лейзор Шедеуренко.
5These are the names of the men who shall stand with you: Of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.
6Від Симеона: Селуміїль Зуришадайєнко.
6Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
7Від Юди: Наазон Аминадабенко;
7Of Judah: Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
8Від Іссахара: Нетанеїль Зуаренко;
8Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.
9Від Зебулона: Єлїаб Гелоненко;
9Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Helon.
10Від синів Йосифови: від Ефраїма: Елїшама Амігуденко; від Манассе: Гамалеїль Педазуренко;
10Of the children of Joseph: of Ephraim: Elishama the son of Ammihud; of Manasseh: Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
11Від Бенямина: Абидан Гидеонїєнко;
11Of Benjamin: Abidan the son of Gideoni.
12Від Дана: Ахієзер Амішадаєнко;

16Се покликані до громади, князі родів батьківських; се були голови над тисячами в Ізраїлї.
16These are those who were called of the congregation, the princes of the tribes of their fathers; they were the heads of the thousands of Israel.
17І взяли Мойсей та Арон людей сих, що їх назвав Господь на імя.
17Moses and Aaron took these men who are mentioned by name.
18І всю громаду скликали вони на первий день другого місяця. І списано родоводи їх, по родинах їх, по батьківських домах їх, по лїчбі імен, від двайцяти років і старше, по головах їх;
18They assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they declared their ancestry by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, one by one.
19Як заповідав Господь Мойсейові. І так перелїчив їх у Синай пустинї.
19As the LORD commanded Moses, so he counted them in the wilderness of Sinai.
20І було синів Рубена, первеньця Ізрайлевого: Поколїння їх по родинах їх, по батьківських домах їх, по лїчбі імен їх, по головах їх, всього музького полу, від двайцяти років і старше, всїх, що ставали до війська,
20The children of Reuben, Israel’s firstborn, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
21Перелїчених з поколїння Рубенового, сорок шість тисяч і пятьсот.
21those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty-six thousand five hundred.
22Синів Симеонових: Поколїння їх по родинах їх, по батьківських домах їх, по лїчбі імен їх, всього музького полу, від двайцяти років і старше, всїх що ставали до війська,
22Of the children of Simeon, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, those who were counted of it, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
23Перелїчених з поколїння Симеонового, пятьдесять девять тисяч і триста.
23those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
24Синів Гадових: Поколїння їх по родинах їх, по батьківських домах їх, по лїчбі імен їх, всього музького полу від двайцяти років і старше, що до війська ставали,
24Of the children of Gad, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
25Перелїчених з колїна Гадового, сорок шість тисяч шістьсот і пятьдесять.
25those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty-five thousand six hundred fifty.
26Синів Юдиних: Поколїння їх по родинах їх, по батьківських домах їх, по лїчбі імен їх, всього музького полу від двайцяти років і старше, всїх що до війська ставали,
26Of the children of Judah, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
27Перелїчених з поколїння Юдиного, сїмдесять чотири тисячі і шістьсот.
27those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Judah, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.
28Синів Іссахарових: Поколїння їх по родинах їх, по батьківських домах їх, по лїчбі імен їх, всього музького полу від двайцяти років і старше, що до війська ставали,
28Of the children of Issachar, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
29Перелїчених з поколїння Іссахарового, пятьдесять чотири тисячі і чотириста.
29those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty-four thousand four hundred.
30Синів Зебулонових: Поколїння їх по родинах їх, по батьківських домах їх, по лїчбі імен їх, всього музького полу, від двяйцяти років і старше, що до війська ставали,
30Of the children of Zebulun, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

31those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.

32Of the children of Joseph: of the children of Ephraim, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
33Перелїчено з поколїння Єфраїмового, сорок тисяч і пятьсот.
33those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand five hundred.
34Синів Манассеїних: Поколїння їх по родинах їх, по батьківських домах їх, по лїчбі імен їх, всього музького полу від двайцяти років і старше, всїх що до війська ставали,
34Of the children of Manasseh, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
35Перелїчено з поколїння Манассеїнового, трийцять дві тисячі і двістї.
35those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.
36Синів Беняминових: Поколїння їх по родинах їх, по батьківських домах їх, по лїчбі імен їх, всього музького полу від двайцяти років і старше, всїх що до війська ставали,
36Of the children of Benjamin, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
37Перелїчених з поколїння Беняминового, трийцять пять тисяч і чотири ста.
37those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.
38Синів Данових: Поколїння їх по родинам їх, по батьківських домах їх, по лїчбі імен їх, всього музького полу від двайцяти років і старше, всїх що до війська ставали,
38Of the children of Dan, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
39Перелїчених з поколїння Данового, шістьдесять дві тисячі і сїмсот.
39those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Dan, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.
40Синів Ассерових: Поколїння їх по родинах їх, по батьківських домах їх, по лїчбі імен їх, всього музького полу від двайцяти років і старше, всїх що до війська ставали,
40Of the children of Asher, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
41Перелїчених з поколїння Ассерового, сорок одна тисяча і пятьсот.
41those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Asher, were forty-one thousand five hundred.
42Синів Нафталїєвих: Поколїння їх по родинах їх, по батьківських домах їх, по лїчбі імен їх, від двайцяти років і старше, всїх що до війська ставали,
42Of the children of Naphtali, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
43Перелїчених з поколїння Нафталїєвого, пятьдесять три тисячі і чотириста.
43those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.
44Се перелїчені, що їх поперелїчували Мойсей та Арон та князї Ізраїльські, що їх було дванайцять чоловіка: були вони кожний за батьківський дім свій.
44These are those who were counted, whom Moses and Aaron counted, and the twelve men who were princes of Israel, each one for his fathers’ house.
45Так перелїчено синів Ізрайлевих по батьківських домах їх від двайцяти років і старше, всїх що до війська Ізраїльського ставали.
45So all those who were counted of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war in Israel—
46І було всїх перелїчених шістьсот три тисячі і пятьсот пятьдесять.
46all those who were counted were six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty.
47Левітів же по батьківському поколїнню не перелїчувано між ними.
47But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not counted among them.
48Сказав бо Господь Мойсейові:
48For the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
49Тілько Левієве поколїннє не подаси до переписї, і не лїчити меш їх між синами Ізрайлевими,
49“Only the tribe of Levi you shall not count, neither shall you take a census of them among the children of Israel;
50А мусиш поставити Левітів над храминою сьвідчення і над усїм знаряддєм її і над усїм, що до неї належить. Носити муть вони храмину і все знаряддє її, і будуть вони на послугу при нїй, і отаборяться навкруги храмини.
50but appoint the Levites over the Tabernacle of the Testimony, and over all its furnishings, and over all that belongs to it. They shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; and they shall take care of it, and shall encamp around it.
51І як треба буде нести храмину, нехай підносять її Левіти; а як треба зупинитись храминї, становити муть її Левіти. Хто ж чужий наближиться до неї, тому буде смерть.
51When the tabernacle is to move, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall set it up. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death.
52І стануть табором сини Ізрайлеві, кожний у свому таборі, і кожний під своїм прапором, пополках своїх.
52The children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their divisions.
53Левіти ж мусять отаборитись навкруги храмини сьвідчення, щоб не загорівся гнїв мій на громаду синів Ізрайлевих, і будуть Левіти на чатах при храминї сьвідчення.
53But the Levites shall encamp around the Tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel. The Levites shall be responsible for the Tabernacle of the Testimony.”
54І вчинили сини Ізрайлеві все; як заповідав Господь Мойсейові, так вчинили вони.
54Thus the children of Israel did. According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so they did.
