1І сталось послї мору, що рече Господь Мойсейові та Елеазарові, синові Арона сьвященника:
1After the plague, the LORD spoke to Moses and to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,
2Злїчи менї всю громаду синів Ізрайлевих од двайцяти років і старше, по їх батьківських домах, усїх здатних до війська в Ізраїлї.
2“Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, by their fathers’ houses, all who are able to go out to war in Israel.”
3І розмовляли із ними Мойсей та Елеазар сьвященник на подїллю Моаба, над Йорданом, проти Єрихону, і казали вони:
3Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,
4Злїчіть усїх од двайцяти років і старше, як заповідав Господь Мойсейові. І се синове Ізрайлеві, що вийшли з Египецької землї:
4“Take a census, from twenty years old and upward, as the LORD commanded Moses and the children of Israel.” These are those who came out of the land of Egypt.
5Рубен, первенець Ізраїлів. Сини Рубенові: Ганох, від його родина Ганохіїв; Паллу, від його родина Паллуїв;
5Reuben, the firstborn of Israel; the sons of Reuben: of Hanoch, the family of the Hanochites; of Pallu, the family of the Palluites;
6Гезрон, від його родина Гезроніїв; Кармій, від його родина Карміїв.
6of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.
7Се родини Рубенїїв. І було перелїчених їх сорок і три тисячі сїмсот і трийцять.
7These are the families of the Reubenites; and those who were counted of them were forty-three thousand seven hundred thirty.
8А сини Палуєві: Елїаб.
8The son of Pallu: Eliab.
9А сини Елїабові: Немуїль і Датан і Абирам; се ті покликані в громаду, що ворохобились проти Мойсея і Арона в ротї Корага, як нарікали на Господа.
9The sons of Eliab: Nemuel, Dathan, and Abiram. These are that Dathan and Abiram who were called by the congregation, who rebelled against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah when they rebelled against the LORD;
10Но роззявила земля пельку свою та й проглинула їх з Корагом, як погибла рота ся, що пожерло поломя їх: двістї і пятьдесять чоловіка; і стали вони знамям.
10and the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah when that company died; at the time the fire devoured two hundred fifty men, and they became a sign.
11Сини ж Корагові не погибли.
11Notwithstanding, the sons of Korah didn’t die.
12Синове Симеонові по родинах їх:
12The sons of Simeon after their families: of Nemuel, the family of the Nemuelites; of Jamin, the family of the Jaminites; of Jachin, the family of the Jachinites;
13Немуїль, від його родина Немуйлїїв; Ямин, від його родина Яминїїв; Яхин, від його родина Яхиїїв; Зерах, від його родина Зерахіїв; Саул, від його родина Сауйліїв.
13of Zerah, the family of the Zerahites; of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites.
14Се родини Симеонїїв: двайцять дві тисячі і двісті.
14These are the families of the Simeonites, twenty-two thousand two hundred.
15Сини Гадові по родинах їх: Зефон, від його родина Зефонїїв; Гаггій, від його родина Гаггіїв; Шунїй, від його родина Шунїїв.
15The sons of Gad after their families: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites; of Haggi, the family of the Haggites; of Shuni, the family of the Shunites;
16Оснїй, від його родина Оснїїв; Ерій, від його родина Еріїв,
16of Ozni, the family of the Oznites; of Eri, the family of the Erites;
17Арод, від його родина Ародїїв; Аремій, від його родина Ареміїв.
17of Arod, the family of the Arodites; of Areli, the family of the Arelites.
18Се родини Гадові по перелїчених їх: сорок тисяч і пятьсот.
18These are the families of the sons of Gad according to those who were counted of them, forty thousand and five hundred.
19Сини Юдині: Гер та Онан; та померли Гер і Онан в Канаан землї.
19The sons of Judah: Er and Onan. Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.
20І були Юдині сини по родинах їх: Шела, від його родина Шеланїїв.
20The sons of Judah after their families were: of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites; of Perez, the family of the Perezites; of Zerah, the family of the Zerahites.
21Перез, від його родина Перезіїв; Зерах, від його родина Зерахіїв. І були сини Перезові: Гезрон, від його родина Гезронїїв; Гамуль, від його родина Гамулїїв.
21The sons of Perez were: of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.
22Се родини Юди, по перелїчених їх: сїмдесять шість тисяч і пятьсот.
22These are the families of Judah according to those who were counted of them, seventy-six thousand five hundred.
23Синове Іссахарові по родинах їх: Тола, від його родина Толаїв; Пува, від його родина Пуваїв:
23The sons of Issachar after their families: of Tola, the family of the Tolaites; of Puvah, the family of the Punites;
24Яшуб, від його родина Яшубіїв; Симрон, від його родина Симроніїв;
24of Jashub, the family of the Jashubites; of Shimron, the family of the Shimronites.
25Се родини Іссахарові, по перелїчених їх: шістьдесять чотири тисячі і триста.
25These are the families of Issachar according to those who were counted of them, sixty-four thousand three hundred.
26Синове Зебулонові по родинах їх: Серед, від його родина Середїїв; Елон, від його родина Елонїїв; Яхлеїль, від його родина Яхлеілїв.
26The sons of Zebulun after their families: of Sered, the family of the Seredites; of Elon, the family of the Elonites; of Jahleel, the family of the Jahleelites.
27Се родини Зебулонїїв, по перелїчених їх: шістьдесять тисяч і пятьсот.
27These are the families of the Zebulunites according to those who were counted of them, sixty thousand five hundred.
28Синове Йосифові, по родинах їх: Манассїй і Ефраїм.
28The sons of Joseph after their families: Manasseh and Ephraim.
29Синове Манасїєві: Макир, від його родина Макиріїв, а Макир появив Гілеада; Гілеад, від його родина Гілеадїїв.
29The sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites; and Machir became the father of Gilead; of Gilead, the family of the Gileadites.
30Се синове Гілеадові: Їезер, від його родина Їезріїв; Гелек, від його родина Гелекіїв.
30These are the sons of Gilead: of Iezer, the family of the Iezerites; of Helek, the family of the Helekites;
31Асриїль, від його родина Асрийлїїв, і Сихем, від його родина Сихеміїв;
31and Asriel, the family of the Asrielites; and Shechem, the family of the Shechemites;
32Шемида, від його родина Шемидїїв; Гефер, від його родина Геферіїв.
32and Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites; and Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.
33У Зелофада ж Геференка не було синів; а імена дочок Зелофадових: Махля і Ноя, Хогля, Милка і Тирза.
33Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
34Се родини Манассїєві, а перелїчених їх було: пятьдесять дві тисячі і сїмсот.
34These are the families of Manasseh. Those who were counted of them were fifty-two thousand seven hundred.
35Се синове Ефраїмові по родинах їх: Шутелах, від його родина Шутеляхіїв; Бекер, від його родина Бекеріїв; Тахана, від його родина Таханїїв.
35These are the sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthelahites; of Becher, the family of the Becherites; of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.
36А се сини Шутеляхові: Еран, від його родина Еранїїв.
36These are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.
37Се родини синів Ефраїмових по перелїчених їх: трийцять дві тисячі і пятьсот. Се сини Йосифові по родинах їх:
37These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those who were counted of them, thirty-two thousand five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph after their families.
38Синове Беняминові по родинах їх: Бела, від його родина Белаїв; Ашбель, від його родина Ашбелїїв; Ахирам, від його родина Ахираміїв;
38The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites;
39Сефуфам, від його родина Сефуфаміїв; Гуфам, від його родина Гуфаміїв.
39of Shephupham, the family of the Shuphamites; of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.
40А сини в Бели були Ард і Нааман. Від Арда родина Ардїїв; від Наамана родина Нааманїїв.
40The sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman: the family of the Ardites; and of Naaman, the family of the Naamites.
41Се синове Беняминові по родинах їх, а перелїчених їх сорок пять тисяч і шістьсот.
41These are the sons of Benjamin after their families; and those who were counted of them were forty-five thousand six hundred.
42Се синове Данові по родинах їх: Шухам, від його родина Шухаміїв. Се родина Данова по родинах їх.
42These are the sons of Dan after their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan after their families.
43Усїх родин Шухаміїв по перелїчених їх: шістьдесять чотири тисячі і чотириста.
43All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those who were counted of them, were sixty-four thousand four hundred.
44Синове Ассерові по родинах їх: Їмна, від його родина Їмнїїв; Їтва, від його родина Їтвіїв; Берія, від його родина Беріїв.
44The sons of Asher after their families: of Imnah, the family of the Imnites; of Ishvi, the family of the Ishvites; of Beriah, the family of the Berites.
45Від синів Берії: Гебер, від його родина Гебріїв; Малкиїль, від його родина Малкиїлїв.
45Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.
46А імя дочки Ассерової було Сераха.
46The name of the daughter of Asher was Serah.
47Се родини синів Ассерових по перелїчених їх: пятьдесять три тисячі і чотириста.
47These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those who were counted of them, fifty-three thousand four hundred.
48Синове Нефталїєві по родинах їх: Яхзеїль, від його родина Яхзеїлїв; Гунїй, від його родина Гуніїв;
48The sons of Naphtali after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites;
49Езер, від його родина Езеріїв, Шіллем, від його родина Шіллеміїв.
49of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.
50Се родини Нафталієві, і перелїчених їх було сорок пять тисяч і чотириста.
50These are the families of Naphtali according to their families; and those who were counted of them were forty-five thousand four hundred.
51Се перелїчені сини Ізрайлеві: шістьсот одна тисяча сїмсот і трийцять.
51These are those who were counted of the children of Israel, six hundred one thousand seven hundred thirty.
52І рече Господь Мойсейові:
52The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
53Між тими подїлена мусить бути земля в наслїддє, по лїчбі імен.
53“To these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names.
54У кого богацько душ, побільшиш наслїддє його, а в кого мало душ, поменьшиш наслїддє його; кожному, дивлючись по перелїчених його, надїлиш наслїддє його.
54To the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance. To everyone according to those who were counted of him shall his inheritance be given.
55Тілько ж по жеребу буде роздїлена земля; по батьківських іменах наслїдувати муть її.
55Notwithstanding, the land shall be divided by lot. According to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.
56Як випаде жереб, буде удїлене кожному наслїддє його, чи велике чи мале воно.
56According to the lot shall their inheritance be divided between the more and the fewer.”
57А се перелїчені Левіти по родинах їх: Від Герзона родина Герзонїїв; від Кегата родина Кегатїїв;
57These are those who were counted of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
58Від Мерарія родина Мераріїв. Се родини Левітів: родина Либніїв, родина Геброніїв, родина Махлїїв, родина Мушлїїв, родина Коргіїв. А Кегат появив Амрама.
58These are the families of Levi: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, and the family of the Korahites. Kohath became the father of Amram.
59А жінка Амрамова була на імя Йокебеда, дочка Левієва, що зродила Левієві в Египтї. І породила вона Амрамові Арона й Мойсея, та Миряму, сестру їх.
59The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt. She bore to Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
60Аронові ж родились Надаб і Абигуй, Елеазар та Ітамар.
60To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
61І померли Надаб і Абигуй, як приносили чужий вогонь перед Господом.
61Nadab and Abihu died when they offered strange fire before the LORD.
62І було їх перелїчених двайцять і три тисячі, ввесь музький пол від одномісячних і старше; не перелїчив же їх між синами Ізрайлевими, бо не дано їм наслїддя між синами Ізрайлевими.
62Those who were counted of them were twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old and upward; for they were not counted among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.
63Се ті, що перелїчили їх Мойсей та Елеазар при Йорданї, проти Єрихону.
63These are those who were counted by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who counted the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
64Та між сими не було нї одного чоловіка з тих, що були перелїчені від Мойсея та Арона сьвященника, як перелїчували вони сини Ізраїля в Синайському степу.
64But among these there was not a man of them who were counted by Moses and Aaron the priest, who counted the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.
65Про них бо сказав Господь Мойсейові: Смертю помруть вони в степу, і не зістанеться з їх нї чоловіка, окрім Калеба Єфуненка та Йозея Нуненка.
65For the LORD had said of them, “They shall surely die in the wilderness.” There was not a man left of them, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
