1Kaj la Eternulo ekparolis al Moseo en la dezerto Sinaj en la tabernaklo de kunveno en la unua tago de la dua monato de la dua jaro post ilia eliro el la lando Egipta, dirante:
1The LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the Tent of Meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
2Prikalkulu la tutan komunumon de la Izraelidoj laŭ iliaj familioj, laŭ iliaj patrodomoj, laŭ la nombro de la nomoj de ĉiuj virseksuloj laŭkape.
2“Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, every male, one by one,
3De la aĝuloj de dudek jaroj kaj pli, ĉiujn, kiuj taŭgas por milito en Izrael, prikalkulu ilin laŭ iliaj taĉmentoj, vi kaj Aaron.
3from twenty years old and upward, all who are able to go out to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall count them by their divisions.
4Kaj kun vi estu po unu homo el ĉiu tribo, homo, kiu estas ĉefo en sia patrodomo.
4With you there shall be a man of every tribe, each one head of his fathers’ house.
5Kaj jen estas la nomoj de la viroj, kiuj staros kun vi: de Ruben staru Elicur, filo de Ŝedeur;
5These are the names of the men who shall stand with you: Of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.
6de Simeon, Ŝelumiel, filo de Curiŝadaj;
6Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
7de Jehuda, Naĥŝon, filo de Aminadab;
7Of Judah: Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
8de Isaĥar, Netanel, filo de Cuar;
8Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.
9de Zebulun, Eliab, filo de Ĥelon;
9Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Helon.

16Tio estas la distingitoj el la komunumo, la estroj de la triboj de siaj patroj, la ĉefoj de la miloj de Izrael.
16These are those who were called of the congregation, the princes of the tribes of their fathers; they were the heads of the thousands of Israel.
17Kaj Moseo kaj Aaron prenis tiujn virojn, cititajn laŭ iliaj nomoj.
17Moses and Aaron took these men who are mentioned by name.
18Kaj la tutan komunumon ili kunvenigis en la unua tago de la dua monato; kaj la kunvenintoj legitimis sin laŭ siaj familioj, laŭ siaj patrodomoj, laŭ la nombroj de la nomoj, de la aĝuloj de dudek jaroj kaj pli, laŭkape,
18They assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they declared their ancestry by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, one by one.
19kiel la Eternulo ordonis al Moseo. Kaj li prikalkulis ilin en la dezerto Sinaj.
19As the LORD commanded Moses, so he counted them in the wilderness of Sinai.
20Kaj montriĝis, ke la filoj de Ruben, la unuenaskito de Izrael, laŭ sia deveno, laŭ siaj familioj, laŭ siaj patrodomoj, laŭ la nombro da nomoj laŭkape, ĉiuj virseksuloj en la aĝo de dudek jaroj kaj pli, ĉiuj militkapablaj,
20The children of Reuben, Israel’s firstborn, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
21prezentis en la tribo de Ruben la nombron de kvardek ses mil kvincent.
21those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty-six thousand five hundred.
22La filoj de Simeon laŭ sia deveno, laŭ siaj familioj, laŭ siaj patrodomoj, kalkulitaj laŭ la nombro da nomoj laŭkape, ĉiuj virseksuloj en la aĝo de dudek jaroj kaj pli, ĉiuj militkapablaj,
22Of the children of Simeon, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, those who were counted of it, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
23prezentis en la tribo de Simeon la nombron de kvindek naŭ mil tricent.
23those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
24La filoj de Gad laŭ sia deveno, laŭ siaj familioj, laŭ siaj patrodomoj, laŭ la nombro da nomoj, en la aĝo de dudek jaroj kaj pli, ĉiuj militkapablaj,
24Of the children of Gad, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
25prezentis en la tribo de Gad la nombron de kvardek kvin mil sescent kvindek.
25those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty-five thousand six hundred fifty.
26La filoj de Jehuda laŭ sia deveno, laŭ siaj familioj, laŭ siaj patrodomoj, laŭ la nombro da nomoj, en la aĝo de dudek jaroj kaj pli, ĉiuj militkapablaj,
26Of the children of Judah, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
27prezentis en la tribo de Jehuda la nombron de sepdek kvar mil sescent.
27those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Judah, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.
28La filoj de Isaĥar laŭ sia deveno, laŭ siaj familioj, laŭ siaj patrodomoj, laŭ la nombro da nomoj, en la aĝo de dudek jaroj kaj pli, ĉiuj militkapablaj,
28Of the children of Issachar, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
29prezentis en la tribo de Isaĥar la nombron de kvindek kvar mil kvarcent.
29those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty-four thousand four hundred.
30La filoj de Zebulun laŭ sia deveno, laŭ siaj familioj, laŭ siaj patrodomoj, laŭ la nombro da nomoj, en la aĝo de dudek jaroj kaj pli, ĉiuj militkapablaj,
30Of the children of Zebulun, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

31those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.

32Of the children of Joseph: of the children of Ephraim, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
33prezentis en la tribo de Efraim la nombron de kvardek mil kvincent.
33those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand five hundred.

34Of the children of Manasseh, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

35those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.

37those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.

38Of the children of Dan, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

39those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Dan, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.
40La filoj de Aŝer laŭ sia deveno, laŭ siaj familioj, laŭ siaj patrodomoj, laŭ la nombro da nomoj, en la aĝo de dudek jaroj kaj pli, ĉiuj militkapablaj,
40Of the children of Asher, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
41prezentis en la tribo de Aŝer la nombron de kvardek unu mil kvincent.
41those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Asher, were forty-one thousand five hundred.
42La filoj de Naftali laŭ sia deveno, laŭ siaj familioj, laŭ siaj patrodomoj, laŭ la nombro da nomoj, en la aĝo de dudek jaroj kaj pli, ĉiuj militkapablaj,
42Of the children of Naphtali, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
43prezentis en la tribo de Naftali la nombron de kvindek tri mil kvarcent.
43those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.
44Tio estas la kalkulitoj, kiujn kalkulis Moseo kaj Aaron kaj la princoj de Izrael, dek du homoj, po unu el ĉiu patrodomo.
44These are those who were counted, whom Moses and Aaron counted, and the twelve men who were princes of Israel, each one for his fathers’ house.
45Kaj la nombro de ĉiuj kalkulitoj el la Izraelidoj laŭ iliaj patrodomoj, en la aĝo de dudek jaroj kaj pli, ĉiuj militkapablaj en Izrael,
45So all those who were counted of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war in Israel—
46la nombro de ĉiuj kalkulitoj estis sescent tri mil kvincent kvindek.
46all those who were counted were six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty.
47Sed la Levidoj laŭ sia patrodomo ne estis kalkulitaj inter ili.
47But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not counted among them.
48Ĉar la Eternulo ekparolis al Moseo, dirante:
48For the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
49Nur la tribon de Levi ne prikalkulu, kaj ne metu ilian nombron mezen de la Izraelidoj.
49“Only the tribe of Levi you shall not count, neither shall you take a census of them among the children of Israel;
50Sed vi komisiu al la Levidoj la tabernaklon de atesto kaj ĉiujn ĝiajn objektojn, kaj ĉion, kio apartenas al ĝi; ili portadu la tabernaklon kaj ĉiujn ĝiajn objektojn, kaj ili priservu ĝin, kaj ĉirkaŭ la tabernaklo ili starigu siajn tendojn.
50but appoint the Levites over the Tabernacle of the Testimony, and over all its furnishings, and over all that belongs to it. They shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; and they shall take care of it, and shall encamp around it.
51Kaj kiam la tabernaklo devos forlasi sian lokon, tiam la Levidoj ĝin levu; kaj kiam la tabernaklo devos resti sur loko, tiam la Levidoj ĝin starigu; sed se laiko alproksimiĝos, li estu mortigita.
51When the tabernacle is to move, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall set it up. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death.
52Kaj la Izraelidoj aranĝos sin ĉiu en sia tendaro kaj ĉiu apud sia standardo, laŭ siaj taĉmentoj.
52The children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their divisions.
53Sed la Levidoj starigu siajn tendojn ĉirkaŭ la tabernaklo de atesto, por ke ne trafu kolero la komunumon de la Izraelidoj; kaj la Levidoj plenumos la gardadon de la tabernaklo de atesto.
53But the Levites shall encamp around the Tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel. The Levites shall be responsible for the Tabernacle of the Testimony.”
54Kaj tiel faris la Izraelidoj; konforme al ĉio, kion la Eternulo ordonis al Moseo, tiel ili faris.
54Thus the children of Israel did. According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so they did.
