1و در روز اول ماه دوم از سال دوم از بیرون آمدن ایشان از زمین مصر، خداوند دربیابان سینا در خیمه اجتماع موسی را خطاب کرده، گفت:
1The LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the Tent of Meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
2«حساب تمامی جماعت بنی‌اسرائیل را برحسب قبایل و خاندان آبای ایشان، به شماره اسم های همه ذکوران موافق سرهای ایشان بگیرید.
2“Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, every male, one by one,
3از بیست ساله و زیاده، هر‌که از اسرائیل به جنگ بیرون می‌رود، تو وهارون ایشان را برحسب افواج ایشان بشمارید.
3from twenty years old and upward, all who are able to go out to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall count them by their divisions.
4و همراه شما یک نفر از هر سبط باشد که هر یک رئیس خاندان آبایش باشد.
4With you there shall be a man of every tribe, each one head of his fathers’ house.
5و اسم های کسانی که با شما باید بایستند، این است: از روبین، الیصوربن شدیئور.
5These are the names of the men who shall stand with you: Of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.
6و از شمعون، شلومیئیل بن صوریشدای.
6Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
7و از یهودا، نحشون بن عمیناداب.
7Of Judah: Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
8و از یساکار، نتنائیل بن صوغر.
8Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.
9و از زبولون، الیاب بن حیلون.
9Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Helon.
10و از بنی یوسف: از افرایم، الیشمع بن عمیهود. و از منسی، جملیئیل بن فدهصور.
10Of the children of Joseph: of Ephraim: Elishama the son of Ammihud; of Manasseh: Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
11از بنیامین، ابیدان بن جدعونی.
11Of Benjamin: Abidan the son of Gideoni.
12و از دان، اخیعزر بن عمیشدای.
12Of Dan: Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
13و از اشیر، فجعیئیل بن عکران.
13Of Asher: Pagiel the son of Ochran.
14و از جاد، الیاساف بن دعوئیل.
14Of Gad: Eliasaph the son of Deuel.
15و از نفتالی، اخیرع بن عینان.»
15Of Naphtali: Ahira the son of Enan.”
16اینانند دعوت‌شدگان جماعت و سروران اسباط آبای ایشان، و روسای هزاره های اسرائیل.
16These are those who were called of the congregation, the princes of the tribes of their fathers; they were the heads of the thousands of Israel.
17و موسی و هارون این کسان را که به نام، معین شدند، گرفتند.
17Moses and Aaron took these men who are mentioned by name.
18و در روز اول ماه دوم، تمامی جماعت را جمع کرده، نسب نامه های ایشان را برحسب قبایل و خاندان آبای ایشان، به شماره اسم‌ها از بیست ساله و بالاتر موافق سرهای ایشان خواندند.
18They assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they declared their ancestry by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, one by one.
19چنانکه خداوندموسی را امر فرموده بود، ایشان را در بیابان سینابشمرد.
19As the LORD commanded Moses, so he counted them in the wilderness of Sinai.
20و اما انساب بنی روبین نخست زاده اسرائیل، برحسب قبایل و خاندان آبای ایشان، موافق نامها و سرهای ایشان این بود: هر ذکور ازبیست ساله و بالاتر، جمیع کسانی که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفتند.
20The children of Reuben, Israel’s firstborn, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
21شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبطروبین، چهل و شش هزار و پانصد نفر بودند.
21those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty-six thousand five hundred.
22و انساب بنی شمعون برحسب قبایل وخاندان آبای ایشان، کسانی که از ایشان شمرده شدند، موافق شماره اسم‌ها و سرهای ایشان این بود: هر ذکور از بیست ساله و بالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.
22Of the children of Simeon, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, those who were counted of it, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
23شمرده شدگان ایشان ازسبط شمعون، پنجاه و نه هزار و سیصد نفر بودند.
23those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
24و انساب بنی جاد برحسب قبایل و خاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها، از بیست ساله وبالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.
24Of the children of Gad, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
25شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط جاد، چهل و پنج هزار و ششصد و پنجاه نفر بودند.
25those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty-five thousand six hundred fifty.
26و انساب بنی یهودا برحسب قبایل وخاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها ازبیست ساله و بالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.
26Of the children of Judah, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
27شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط یهودا، هفتاد و چهار هزار و شش صد نفر بودند.
27those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Judah, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.
28و انساب بنی یساکار برحسب قبایل وخاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها ازبیست ساله و بالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.
28Of the children of Issachar, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
29شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط یساکار، پنجاه و چهار هزار و چهارصد نفر بودند.
29those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty-four thousand four hundred.
30و انساب بنی زبولون برحسب قبایل وخاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها ازبیست ساله و بالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.
30Of the children of Zebulun, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
31شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط زبولون پنجاه و هفت هزار و چهارصد نفر بودند.
31those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.
32و انساب بنی یوسف از بنی افرایم برحسب قبایل و خاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم هااز بیست ساله و بالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.
32Of the children of Joseph: of the children of Ephraim, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
33شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط افرایم، چهل هزار و پانصد نفر بودند.
33those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand five hundred.
34و انساب بنی منسی برحسب قبایل وخاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها، ازبیست ساله و بالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.
34Of the children of Manasseh, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
35شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط منسی، سی و دو هزار و دویست نفر بودند.
35those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.
36و انساب بنی بنیامین برحسب قبایل وخاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها، ازبیست ساله بالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.
36Of the children of Benjamin, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
37شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط بنیامین، سی و پنج هزار و چهارصد نفر بودند.
37those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.
38و انساب بنی دان برحسب قبایل و خاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها از بیست ساله وبالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ می‌رفت.
38Of the children of Dan, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
39شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط دان، شصت و دو هزار و هفتصد نفر بودند.
39those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Dan, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.
40و انساب بنی اشیر برحسب قبایل و خاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها از بیست ساله وبالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.
40Of the children of Asher, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
41شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط اشیر، چهل ویک هزار و پانصد نفر بودند.
41those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Asher, were forty-one thousand five hundred.
42و انساب بنی نفتالی برحسب قبایل وخاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها ازبیست ساله و بالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.
42Of the children of Naphtali, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
43شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط نفتالی، پنجاه و سه هزار و پانصد نفر بودند.
43those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.
44اینانند شمرده شدگانی که موسی و هارون با دوازده نفر از سروران اسرائیل، که یک نفر برای هر خاندان آبای ایشان بود، شمردند.
44These are those who were counted, whom Moses and Aaron counted, and the twelve men who were princes of Israel, each one for his fathers’ house.
45و تمامی شمرده شدگان بنی‌اسرائیل برحسب خاندان آبای ایشان، از بیست ساله و بالاتر، هر کس از اسرائیل که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.
45So all those who were counted of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war in Israel—
46همه شمرده شدگان، ششصد و سه هزار و پانصد وپنجاه نفر بودند.
46all those who were counted were six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty.
47اما لاویان برحسب سبط آبای ایشان در میان آنها شمرده نشدند.
47But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not counted among them.
48زیرا خداوند موسی را خطاب کرده، گفت:
48For the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
49«اما سبط لاوی را مشمار و حساب ایشان را درمیان بنی‌اسرائیل مگیر.
49“Only the tribe of Levi you shall not count, neither shall you take a census of them among the children of Israel;
50لیکن لاویان را برمسکن شهادت و تمامی اسبابش و بر هرچه علاقه به آن دارد بگمار، و ایشان مسکن و تمامی اسبابش را بردارند، و ایشان آن را خدمت نمایندو به اطراف مسکن خیمه زنند.
50but appoint the Levites over the Tabernacle of the Testimony, and over all its furnishings, and over all that belongs to it. They shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; and they shall take care of it, and shall encamp around it.
51و چون مسکن روانه شود لاویان آن را پایین بیاورند، و چون مسکن افراشته شود لاویان آن را برپا نمایند، وغریبی که نزدیک آن آید، کشته شود.
51When the tabernacle is to move, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall set it up. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death.
52و بنی‌اسرائیل هر کس در محله خود و هر کس نزدعلم خویش برحسب افواج خود، خیمه زنند.
52The children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their divisions.
53و لاویان به اطراف مسکن شهادت خیمه زنند، مبادا غضب بر جماعت بنی‌اسرائیل بشود، ولاویان شعائر مسکن شهادت را نگاه دارند.»
53But the Levites shall encamp around the Tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel. The Levites shall be responsible for the Tabernacle of the Testimony.”
54پس بنی‌اسرائیل چنین کردند، و برحسب آنچه خداوند موسی را امر فرموده بود، به عمل آوردند.
54Thus the children of Israel did. According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so they did.
