1พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า “ตอนนี้เจ้าจะได้เห็นว่าเราจะทำอะไรกับฟาโรห์ เพราะด้วยอำนาจของมืออันทรงพลัง ฟาโรห์จะปล่อยพวกเขาไป และด้วยอำนาจของมืออันทรงพลัง เขาจะขับพวกเขาออกจากแผ่นดินของตน”
1And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh; for by a strong hand shall he let them go, and by a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.'
2พระเจ้าตรัสกับโมเสสว่า “เราคือพระยาห์เวห์
2And God spoke unto Moses, and said unto him: 'I am the LORD;
3เราเคยปรากฏแก่อับราฮัม อิสอัค และยาโคบในฐานะพระเจ้าผู้ทรงฤทธิ์ แต่พวกเขาไม่ได้รู้จักเราด้วยนามพระยาห์เวห์
3and I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name Jehovah I made Me not known to them.
4เรายังได้ตั้งพันธสัญญาของเรากับพวกเขา ว่าจะยกแผ่นดินคานาอันให้พวกเขา คือแผ่นดินที่พวกเขาเดินทางไปมาและอาศัยอยู่เป็นคนต่างถิ่น
4And I have also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their sojournings, wherein they sojourned.
5และเราได้ยินเสียงคร่ำครวญของชาวอิสราเอล ซึ่งชาวอียิปต์ยังคงกดขี่ไว้เป็นทาส และเราได้ระลึกถึงพันธสัญญาของเรา
5And moreover I have heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered My covenant.
6เพราะฉะนั้นจงบอกชาวอิสราเอลว่า ‘เราคือพระยาห์เวห์ เราจะพาพวกเจ้าออกจากงานหนักที่ชาวอียิปต์บังคับให้ทำ เราจะช่วยพวกเจ้าให้พ้นจากการเป็นทาสของพวกเขา และเราจะไถ่พวกเจ้าให้เป็นอิสระด้วยแขนที่เหยียดออกและด้วยการพิพากษาอันยิ่งใหญ่
6Wherefore say unto the children of Israel: I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments;
7เราจะรับพวกเจ้ามาเป็นประชาชนของเรา และเราจะเป็นพระเจ้าของพวกเจ้า แล้วพวกเจ้าจะรู้ว่าเราคือพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกเจ้า ผู้พาพวกเจ้าออกจากงานหนักที่ชาวอียิปต์บังคับให้ทำ
7and I will take you to Me for a people, and I will be to you a God; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
8เราจะพาพวกเจ้าเข้าไปในแผ่นดินที่เราสาบานว่าจะมอบให้อับราฮัม อิสอัค และยาโคบ และเราจะมอบแผ่นดินนั้นให้พวกเจ้าเป็นมรดก เราคือพระยาห์เวห์’”
8And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning which I lifted up My hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for a heritage: I am the LORD.'
9โมเสสบอกเรื่องนี้แก่ชาวอิสราเอล แต่พวกเขาไม่ฟังโมเสส เพราะหมดกำลังใจและถูกกดขี่เป็นทาสอย่างโหดร้าย
9And Moses spoke so unto the children of Israel; but they hearkened not unto Moses for impatience of spirit, and for cruel bondage.
10พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า
10And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
11“เข้าไปพูดกับฟาโรห์กษัตริย์อียิปต์ ให้เขาปล่อยชาวอิสราเอลออกจากแผ่นดินของเขา”
11'Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.'
12โมเสสพูดต่อหน้าพระยาห์เวห์ว่า “ดูสิ แม้แต่ชาวอิสราเอลยังไม่ฟังผม แล้วฟาโรห์จะฟังผมได้อย่างไร ในเมื่อริมฝีปากของผมไม่ได้เข้าสุหนัต?”
12And Moses spoke before the LORD, saying: 'Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?'
13พระยาห์เวห์จึงตรัสกับโมเสสและอาโรน และสั่งพวกเขาเกี่ยวกับชาวอิสราเอลและฟาโรห์กษัตริย์อียิปต์ ให้พาชาวอิสราเอลออกจากแผ่นดินอียิปต์
13And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.
14ต่อไปนี้คือหัวหน้าตระกูลของพวกเขา ลูกชายของรูเบนลูกคนโตของอิสราเอล ได้แก่ ฮาโนค ปัลลู เฮสโรน และคาร์มี คนเหล่านี้เป็นต้นตระกูลต่าง ๆ ของรูเบน
14These are the heads of their fathers' houses: the sons of Reuben the first-born of Israel: Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi. These are the families of Reuben.
15ลูกชายของสิเมโอน ได้แก่ เยมูเอล ยามีน โอหาด ยาคีน โศหาร์ และเชาโลซึ่งเป็นลูกของหญิงชาวคานาอัน คนเหล่านี้เป็นต้นตระกูลต่าง ๆ ของสิเมโอน
15And the sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman. These are the families of Simeon.
16ต่อไปนี้คือชื่อของลูกชายเลวีตามลำดับรุ่น ได้แก่ เกอร์โชน โคฮาท และเมรารี เลวีมีอายุ 137 ปี
16And these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon and Kohath, and Merari. And the years of the life of Levi were a hundred thirty and seven years.
17ลูกชายของเกอร์โชน ได้แก่ ลิบนีและชิเมอี แยกตามตระกูลของพวกเขา
17The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families.
18ลูกชายของโคฮาท ได้แก่ อัมราม อิสฮาร์ เฮโบรน และอุสซีเอล โคฮาทมีอายุ 133 ปี
18And the sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel. And the years of the life of Kohath were a hundred thirty and three years.
19ลูกชายของเมรารี ได้แก่ มาห์ลีและมูชี คนเหล่านี้เป็นต้นตระกูลต่าง ๆ ของชาวเลวีตามลำดับรุ่น
19And the sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their generations.
20อัมรามแต่งงานกับโยเคเบดซึ่งเป็นพี่สาวหรือน้องสาวของพ่อเขา และเธอคลอดอาโรนกับโมเสสให้อัมราม อัมรามมีอายุ 137 ปี
20And Amram took him Jochebed his father's sister to wife; and she bore him Aaron and Moses. And the years of the life of Amram were a hundred and thirty and seven years.
21ลูกชายของอิสฮาร์ ได้แก่ โคราห์ เนเฟก และศิครี
21And the sons of Izhar: Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.
22ลูกชายของอุสซีเอล ได้แก่ มิชาเอล เอลซาฟาน และสิธรี
22And the sons of Uzziel: Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.
23อาโรนแต่งงานกับเอลีเชบา ลูกสาวของอัมมีนาดับและเป็นพี่สาวหรือน้องสาวของนาห์โชน เธอคลอดนาดับ อาบีฮู เอเลอาซาร์ และอิธามาร์ให้อาโรน
23And Aaron took him Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, to wife; and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
24ลูกชายของโคราห์ ได้แก่ อัสซีร์ เอลคานาห์ และอาบียาสาฟ คนเหล่านี้เป็นต้นตระกูลของชาวโคราห์
24And the sons of Korah: Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.
25เอเลอาซาร์ลูกชายของอาโรนแต่งงานกับลูกสาวคนหนึ่งของปูทีเอล และเธอคลอดฟีเนหัสให้เขา คนเหล่านี้คือหัวหน้าตระกูลของชาวเลวีตามตระกูลต่าง ๆ ของพวกเขา
25And Eleazar Aaron's son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers' houses of the Levites according to their families.
26อาโรนกับโมเสสคู่นี้เองคือผู้ที่พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสว่า “จงพาชาวอิสราเอลออกจากแผ่นดินอียิปต์ตามกองทัพของพวกเขา”
26These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom the LORD said: 'Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their hosts.'
27คนทั้งสองนี้เองที่พูดกับฟาโรห์กษัตริย์อียิปต์ เพื่อพาชาวอิสราเอลออกจากอียิปต์ คือโมเสสกับอาโรนคู่นี้เอง
27These are they that spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt. These are that Moses and Aaron.
28ในวันที่พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสกับโมเสสในแผ่นดินอียิปต์
28And it came to pass on the day when the LORD spoke unto Moses in the land of Egypt,
29พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า “เราคือพระยาห์เวห์ จงบอกฟาโรห์กษัตริย์อียิปต์ทุกอย่างที่เราบอกเจ้า”
29that the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying: 'I am the LORD; speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I speak unto thee.'
30โมเสสพูดต่อหน้าพระยาห์เวห์ว่า “ดูสิ ริมฝีปากของผมไม่ได้เข้าสุหนัต แล้วฟาโรห์จะฟังผมได้อย่างไร?”
30And Moses said before the LORD: 'Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?'
