1พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า
1And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
2“ดูสิ เราได้เจาะจงเรียกเบซาเลล บุตรอูรี บุตรเฮอร์ จากเผ่ายูดาห์
2'See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;
3เราให้เขาเปี่ยมด้วยพระวิญญาณของพระเจ้า พร้อมด้วยสติปัญญา ความเข้าใจ ความรู้ และฝีมือทุกชนิด
3and I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
4เพื่อคิดออกแบบงานอย่างชำนาญ และทำงานทองคำ เงิน และทองสัมฤทธิ์
4to devise skilful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
5เจียระไนอัญมณีสำหรับฝัง แกะสลักไม้ และทำงานฝีมือทุกชนิด
5and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all manner of workmanship.
6และดูสิ เราแต่งตั้งโอโฮลีอับ บุตรอาหิสามัค จากเผ่าดาน ให้ทำงานร่วมกับเขา เราได้ให้สติปัญญาแก่ทุกคนที่มีปัญญาและฝีมือ เพื่อให้พวกเขาทำทุกสิ่งที่เราสั่งเจ้า
6And I, behold, I have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the hearts of all that are wise-hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee:
7คือเต็นท์นัดพบ หีบพันธสัญญา ฝาปิดแห่งพระเมตตาซึ่งอยู่บนหีบ และเครื่องใช้ทั้งหมดของเต็นท์
7the tent of meeting, and the ark of the testimony, and the ark-cover that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the Tent;
8โต๊ะกับเครื่องใช้ เชิงตะเกียงทองคำบริสุทธิ์กับอุปกรณ์ทั้งหมด แท่นเผาเครื่องหอม
8and the table and its vessels, and the pure candlestick with all its vessels, and the altar of incense;
9แท่นเครื่องบูชาเผาทั้งตัวกับเครื่องใช้ทั้งหมด และอ่างพร้อมฐาน
9and the altar of burnt-offering with all its vessels, and the laver and its base;
10เครื่องแต่งกายที่ทออย่างประณีต คือเครื่องแต่งกายศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของอาโรนปุโรหิต และเครื่องแต่งกายของลูกชายสำหรับทำหน้าที่ปุโรหิต
10and the plaited garments, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office;
11น้ำมันชโลมและเครื่องหอมจากเครื่องเทศหอมสำหรับที่ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ พวกเขาต้องทำทุกอย่างตามที่เราสั่งเจ้า”
11and the anointing oil, and the incense of sweet spices for the holy place; according to all that I have commanded thee shall they do.'
12พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า
12And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
13“จงบอกชาวอิสราเอลว่า ‘พวกเจ้าต้องรักษาวันสะบาโตของเราอย่างแน่นอน เพราะเป็นหมายสำคัญระหว่างเรากับพวกเจ้าตลอดทุกชั่วอายุ เพื่อพวกเจ้าจะรู้ว่าเราคือพระยาห์เวห์ผู้ทำให้พวกเจ้าศักดิ์สิทธิ์
13'Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying: Verily ye shall keep My sabbaths, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that ye may know that I am the LORD who sanctify you.
14เพราะฉะนั้นจงรักษาวันสะบาโต เพราะเป็นวันศักดิ์สิทธิ์สำหรับพวกเจ้า ใครละเมิดความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของวันนั้นต้องถูกประหารอย่างแน่นอน และใครทำงานในวันนั้นต้องถูกตัดออกจากประชาชนของตน
14Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore, for it is holy unto you; every one that profaneth it shall surely be put to death; for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
15ทำงานได้ 6 วัน แต่วันที่ 7 เป็นวันสะบาโต เป็นวันพักอย่างเต็มที่และศักดิ์สิทธิ์แด่พระยาห์เวห์ ใครทำงานในวันสะบาโตต้องถูกประหารอย่างแน่นอน
15Six days shall work be done; but on the seventh day is a sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the LORD; whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
16ชาวอิสราเอลจึงต้องรักษาวันสะบาโตและถือวันสะบาโตตลอดทุกชั่วอายุ เป็นพันธสัญญาถาวร
16Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
17วันสะบาโตเป็นหมายสำคัญระหว่างเรากับชาวอิสราเอลตลอดไป เพราะพระยาห์เวห์สร้างฟ้าและแผ่นดินใน 6 วัน และในวันที่ 7 พระองค์พักและสดชื่นขึ้น’”
17It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel for ever; for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He ceased from work and rested.'
18เมื่อพระองค์ตรัสกับโมเสสบนภูเขาซีนายเสร็จแล้ว พระองค์มอบแผ่นศิลาพันธสัญญา 2 แผ่นแก่โมเสส เป็นแผ่นศิลาที่เขียนด้วยนิ้วมือของพระเจ้า
18And He gave unto Moses, when He had made an end of speaking with him upon mount Sinai, the two tables of the testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
