1Praise ye the LORD . Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.
1Halelujah. Chvalte hospodina stvoření nebeská, chvaltež ho na výsostech.
2Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
2Chvalte jej všickni andělé jeho, chvalte jej všickni zástupové jeho.
3Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
3Chvalte jej slunce i měsíc, chvalte jej všecky jasné hvězdy.
4Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.
4Chvalte jej nebesa nebes, i vody, kteréž jsou nad nebem tímto.
5Let them praise the name of the LORD : for he commanded, and they were created.
5Chvalte jméno Hospodinovo všecky věci, kteréž, jakž on řekl, pojednou stvořeny jsou.
6He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.
6A utvrdil je na věčné věky, uložil cíle, z nichž by nevykračovaly.
7Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:
7Chvalte Hospodina tvorové zemští, velrybové a všecky propasti,
8Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:
8Oheň a krupobití, sníh i pára, vítr bouřlivý, vykonávající rozkaz jeho,
9Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
9I hory a všickni pahrbkové, stromoví ovoce nesoucí, i všickni cedrové,
10Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:
10Zvěř divoká i všeliká hovada, zeměplazové i ptactvo létavé,
11Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
11Králové zemští i všickni národové, knížata i všickni soudcové země,
12Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
12Mládenci, též i panny, starci s dítkami,
13Let them praise the name of the LORD : for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
13Chvalte jméno Hospodinovo; nebo vyvýšeno jest jméno jeho samého, a sláva jeho nade všecku zemi i nebe.
14He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD .
14A vyzdvihl roh lidu svého, chválu všech svatých jeho, synů Izraelských, lidu s ním spojeného. Halelujah.
