1その日、七人の女が一人の男をつかまえて言う。「私たちは自分のパンを食べ、自分の衣服を着ます。ただ、あなたの名で呼ばれるようにしてください。私たちの恥を取り除いてください。」
1And seven women shall take hold of one man in that day, saying: 'We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel; only let us be called by thy name; take thou away our reproach.'
2その日、主の若枝は美しく栄光に満ち、地の実はイスラエルの生き残った者たちの美しさと栄光となる。
2In that day shall the growth of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
3シオンに残された者、エルサレムにとどまる者は聖なる者と呼ばれる。すなわち、エルサレムで生きる者として登録されたすべての人である。
3And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written unto life in Jerusalem;
4それは、主が裁きの霊と焼き尽くす霊によって、シオンの娘たちの汚れを洗い落とし、エルサレムの血をその中から洗い清めるときに起こる。
4when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof, by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of destruction.
5主はシオン山のすべての住まいと、その集会の上に、昼は雲と煙を、夜は燃える火の輝きを造る。すべての栄光の上には覆いが設けられる。
5And the LORD will create over the whole habitation of mount Zion, and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory shall be a canopy.
6昼の暑さを避ける陰となり、嵐と雨を避ける逃れ場と隠れ場となる仮小屋が設けられる。
6And there shall be a pavilion for a shadow in the day-time from the heat, and for a refuge and for a covert from storm and from rain.
