1上帝啊，你為何永遠丟棄我們呢？ 你為何向你草場的羊發怒，如煙冒出呢？
1Why have You rejected us forever, O God? Why does Your anger smolder against the sheep of Your pasture?
2求你記念你古時所得來的會眾， 就是你所贖、作你產業支派的， 並記念你向來所居住的 錫安山 。
2Remember Your congregation, which You purchased long ago and redeemed as the tribe of Your inheritance— Mount Zion where You dwell.
3求你舉步去看那日久荒涼之地， 仇敵在聖所中所行的一切惡事。
3Turn Your steps to the everlasting ruins, to everything in the sanctuary the enemy has destroyed.
4你的敵人在你會中吼叫； 他們豎了自己的旗為記號。
4Your foes have roared within Your meeting place; they have unfurled their banners as signs,
5他們好像人揚起斧子， 砍伐林中的樹。
5like men wielding axes in a thicket of trees
6聖所中一切雕刻的， 他們現在用斧子錘子打壞了。
6and smashing all the carvings with hatchets and picks.
7他們用火焚燒你的聖所， 褻瀆你名的居所， 拆毀 到地。
7They have burned Your sanctuary to the ground; they have defiled the dwelling place of Your Name.
8他們心裏說：我們要盡行毀滅； 他們就在遍地把上帝的會所都燒毀了。
8They said in their hearts, “We will crush them completely.” They burned down every place where God met us in the land.
9我們不見我們的標幟，不再有先知； 我們內中也沒有人知道 這災禍 要到幾時呢！
9There are no signs for us to see. There is no longer any prophet. And none of us knows how long this will last.
10上帝啊，敵人辱罵要到幾時呢？ 仇敵褻瀆你的名要到永遠嗎？
10How long, O God, will the enemy taunt You? Will the foe revile Your name forever?
11你為甚麼縮回你的右手？ 求你從懷中伸出來，毀滅他們。
11Why do You withdraw Your strong right hand? Stretch it out to destroy them!
12上帝自古以來為我的王， 在地上施行拯救。
12Yet God is my King from ancient times, working salvation on the earth.
13你曾用能力將海分開， 將水中大魚的頭打破。
13You divided the sea by Your strength; You smashed the heads of the dragons of the sea;
14你曾砸碎鱷魚的頭， 把牠給曠野的禽獸為食物。
14You crushed the heads of Leviathan; You fed him to the creatures of the desert.
15你曾分裂磐石，水便成了溪河； 你使長流的江河乾了。
15You broke open the fountain and the flood; You dried up the ever-flowing rivers.
16白晝屬你，黑夜也屬你； 亮光和日頭是你所預備的。
16The day is Yours, and also the night; You established the moon and the sun.
17地的一切疆界是你所立的； 夏天和冬天是你所定的。
17You set all the boundaries of the earth; You made the summer and winter.
18耶和華啊，仇敵辱罵， 愚頑民褻瀆了你的名，求你記念這事。
18Remember how the enemy has mocked You, O LORD, how a foolish people has spurned Your name.
19不要將你斑鳩的性命交給野獸； 不要永遠忘記你困苦人的性命。
19Do not deliver the soul of Your dove to beasts; do not forget the lives of Your afflicted forever.
20求你顧念所立的約， 因為地上黑暗之處都滿了強暴的居所。
20Consider Your covenant, for haunts of violence fill the dark places of the land.
21不要叫受欺壓的人蒙羞回去； 要叫困苦窮乏的人讚美你的名。
21Do not let the oppressed retreat in shame; may the poor and needy praise Your name.
22上帝啊，求你起來為自己伸訴！ 要記念愚頑人怎樣終日辱罵你。
22Rise up, O God; defend Your cause! Remember how the fool mocks You all day long.
23不要忘記你敵人的聲音； 那起來敵你之人的喧嘩時常上升。
23Do not disregard the clamor of Your adversaries, the uproar of Your enemies that ascends continually.
