1為基督耶穌被囚的 保羅 ，同兄弟 提摩太 寫信給我們所親愛的同工 腓利門 ，
1Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, To Philemon our beloved fellow worker,
2和妹子 亞腓亞 並與我們同當兵的 亞基布 ，以及在你家的教會。
2to Apphia our sister, to Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church that meets at your house:
3願恩惠、平安從上帝我們的父和主耶穌基督歸與你們！
3Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
4我禱告的時候提到你，常為你感謝我的上帝；
4I always thank my God, remembering you in my prayers,
5因聽說你的愛心並你向主耶穌和眾聖徒的信心。
5because I hear about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints.
6願你與人所同有的信心顯出功效，使人知道你們各樣善事都是為基督做的。
6I pray that your partnership in the faith may become effective as you fully acknowledge every good thing that is ours in Christ.
7兄弟啊，我為你的愛心，大有快樂，大得安慰，因眾聖徒的心從你得了暢快。
7I take great joy and encouragement in your love, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints.
8我雖然靠着基督能放膽吩咐你合宜的事，
8So although in Christ I am bold enough to order you to do what is proper,
9然而像我這有年紀的 保羅 ，現在又是為基督耶穌被囚的，寧可憑着愛心求你，
9I prefer to appeal on the basis of love. For I, Paul, am now aged, and a prisoner of Christ Jesus as well.
10就是為我在捆鎖中所生的兒子 阿尼西謀 求你。
10I appeal to you for my child Onesimus, whose father I became while I was in chains.
11他從前與你沒有益處，但如今與你我都有益處。
11Formerly he was useless to you, but now he has become useful both to you and to me.
12我現在打發他親自回你那裏去；他是我心上的人。
12I am sending back to you him who is my very heart.
13我本來有意將他留下，在我為福音所受的捆鎖中替你伺候我。
13I would have liked to keep him with me, so that on your behalf he could minister to me in my chains for the gospel.
14但不知道你的意思，我就不願意這樣行，叫你的善行不是出於勉強，乃是出於甘心。
14But I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that your goodness will not be out of compulsion, but by your own free will.
15他暫時離開你，或者是叫你永遠得着他，
15For perhaps this is why he was separated from you for a while, so that you might have him back for good—
16不再是奴僕，乃是高過奴僕，是親愛的兄弟。在我實在是如此，何況在你呢！這也不拘是按肉體說，是按主說。
16no longer as a slave, but better than a slave, as a beloved brother. He is especially beloved to me, but even more so to you, both in person and in the Lord.
17你若以我為同伴，就收納他，如同收納我一樣。
17So if you consider me a partner, receive him as you would receive me.
18他若虧負你，或欠你甚麼，都歸在我的帳上；
18But if he has wronged you in any way or owes you anything, charge it to my account.
19我必償還，這是我－ 保羅 親筆寫的。我並不用對你說，連你自己也是虧欠於我。
19I, Paul, write this with my own hand. I will repay it—not to mention that you owe me your very self.
20兄弟啊，望你使我在主裏因你得快樂，並望你使我的心在基督裏得暢快。
20Yes, brother, let me have some benefit from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in Christ.
21我寫信給你，深信你必順服，知道你所要行的必過於我所說的。
21Confident of your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I ask.
22此外你還要給我預備住處；因為我盼望藉着你們的禱告，必蒙恩到你們那裏去。
22In the meantime, prepare a guest room for me, because I hope that through your prayers I will be restored to you.
23為基督耶穌與我同坐監的 以巴弗 問你安。
23Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, sends you greetings,
24與我同工的 馬可 、 亞里達古 、 底馬 、 路加 也都問你安。
24as do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow workers.
25願我們主耶穌基督的恩 常 在你的心裏。阿們！
25The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
