1หลังจากสิ่งเหล่านี้ ผมได้ยินเสียงหนึ่งคล้ายเสียงดังของฝูงชนจำนวนมากในสวรรค์ กล่าวว่า “ฮาเลลูยา! ความรอด พลัง และพระสิริเป็นของพระเจ้าของเรา
1And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
2เพราะการพิพากษาของพระองค์สัตย์จริงและชอบธรรม พระองค์ได้พิพากษาโสเภณีผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ ผู้ทำให้แผ่นดินโลกเสื่อมทรามด้วยการผิดศีลธรรมทางเพศของนาง และพระองค์ได้แก้แค้นนางเพราะนางทำให้เลือดของผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์ต้องหลั่ง”
2For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
3เสียงที่สองกล่าวว่า “ฮาเลลูยา! ควันจากนางลอยขึ้นตลอดไปเป็นนิตย์”
3And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.
4ผู้อาวุโสทั้งยี่สิบสี่คนและสิ่งมีชีวิตทั้งสี่ตัวหมอบลงกราบไหว้พระเจ้า ผู้ที่นั่งบนบัลลังก์ กล่าวว่า “อาเมน! ฮาเลลูยา!”
4And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.
5มีเสียงออกมาจากบัลลังก์ กล่าวว่า “ผู้รับใช้ทุกคนของพระองค์ พวกคุณที่เกรงกลัวพระองค์ ทั้งผู้น้อยและผู้ใหญ่ จงสรรเสริญพระเจ้าของเรา!”
5And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
6ผมได้ยินเสียงหนึ่งคล้ายเสียงของฝูงชนจำนวนมาก คล้ายเสียงน้ำมากมาย และคล้ายเสียงฟ้าร้องอันทรงพลัง กล่าวว่า “ฮาเลลูยา! เพราะองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าผู้เป็นพระเจ้าของเรา ผู้มีอำนาจทั้งสิ้น ปกครองอยู่!
6And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
7พวกเราจงชื่นชมยินดีและเปรมปรีดิ์อย่างยิ่ง และจงถวายพระสิริแด่พระองค์ เพราะงานแต่งงานของลูกแกะมาถึงแล้ว และภรรยาของพระองค์ได้เตรียมตัวพร้อมแล้ว”
7Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8มีผู้ให้เธอสวมผ้าลินินเนื้อละเอียดที่สว่างและบริสุทธิ์ เพราะผ้าลินินเนื้อละเอียดนั้นคือการกระทำอันชอบธรรมของผู้บริสุทธิ์
8And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9ทูตกล่าวกับผมว่า “จงเขียนว่า ‘คนที่ได้รับเชิญมางานเลี้ยงฉลองการแต่งงานของลูกแกะเป็นสุข’” แล้วเขากล่าวกับผมว่า “ถ้อยคำเหล่านี้เป็นถ้อยคำสัตย์จริงของพระเจ้า”
9And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
10ผมหมอบลงแทบเท้าของเขาเพื่อกราบไหว้เขา แต่เขากล่าวกับผมว่า “ดูสิ อย่าทำอย่างนั้น! เราเป็นเพื่อนผู้รับใช้ร่วมกับคุณและกับพี่น้องของคุณที่ยึดถือคำพยานของพระเยซู จงกราบไหว้พระเจ้า เพราะคำพยานของพระเยซูคือพระวิญญาณแห่งคำพยากรณ์”
10And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
11ผมเห็นสวรรค์เปิดออก แล้วก็มีม้าสีขาวตัวหนึ่ง ผู้ที่นั่งบนม้านั้นมีชื่อว่า “ผู้ซื่อสัตย์และเที่ยงแท้” พระองค์พิพากษาและทำสงครามด้วยความชอบธรรม
11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12ดวงตาของพระองค์เป็นเหมือนเปลวไฟ และบนศีรษะมีมงกุฎหลายวง มีชื่อหลายชื่อเขียนไว้ และมีชื่อหนึ่งเขียนไว้ซึ่งไม่มีใครรู้นอกจากพระองค์เอง
12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13พระองค์สวมเสื้อคลุมที่มีเลือดประพรมอยู่ ชื่อของพระองค์เรียกว่า “พระคำของพระเจ้า”
13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14กองทัพที่อยู่ในสวรรค์ สวมผ้าลินินเนื้อละเอียดสีขาวบริสุทธิ์ ตามพระองค์ไปบนม้าสีขาว
14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15ดาบคมสองด้านออกมาจากปากของพระองค์ เพื่อพระองค์จะใช้ดาบนั้นฟาดฟันชนชาติต่าง ๆ พระองค์จะปกครองพวกเขาด้วยคทาเหล็ก พระองค์ย่ำบ่อย่ำองุ่นแห่งความเดือดดาลอันรุนแรงของพระเจ้าผู้มีอำนาจทั้งสิ้น
15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16บนเสื้อคลุมและบนต้นขาของพระองค์มีชื่อเขียนไว้ว่า “กษัตริย์เหนือกษัตริย์ทั้งหลาย และองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าเหนือเจ้านายทั้งหลาย”
16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
17ผมเห็นทูตตนหนึ่งยืนอยู่ในดวงอาทิตย์ เขาร้องด้วยเสียงดัง กล่าวกับนกทั้งปวงที่บินอยู่กลางท้องฟ้าว่า “มาเถอะ! จงมารวมกันที่งานเลี้ยงใหญ่ของพระเจ้า
17And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18เพื่อพวกคุณจะได้กินเนื้อของกษัตริย์ เนื้อของบรรดาแม่ทัพ เนื้อของผู้มีกำลัง เนื้อของม้าและคนที่นั่งบนม้า และเนื้อของคนทุกคน ทั้งคนที่เป็นอิสระและทาส ทั้งผู้น้อยและผู้ใหญ่”
18That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
19ผมเห็นสัตว์ร้าย บรรดากษัตริย์แห่งแผ่นดินโลก และกองทัพของพวกเขา รวมตัวกันเพื่อทำสงครามกับผู้ที่นั่งบนม้าและกับกองทัพของพระองค์
19And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20สัตว์ร้ายถูกจับ และผู้เผยคำพยากรณ์เท็จซึ่งทำหมายสำคัญต่อหน้าสัตว์ร้ายก็ถูกจับพร้อมกับมัน ด้วยหมายสำคัญเหล่านั้น เขาหลอกลวงคนที่ได้รับเครื่องหมายของสัตว์ร้ายและคนที่กราบไหว้รูปของมัน ทั้งสองถูกโยนทั้งเป็นลงในบึงไฟที่ลุกไหม้ด้วยกำมะถัน
20And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21คนที่เหลือถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบของผู้ที่นั่งบนม้า คือดาบที่ออกมาจากปากของพระองค์ แล้วนกทั้งปวงก็กินเนื้อของพวกเขาจนอิ่ม
21And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
