1กวางหอบกระหายหาลำธารอย่างไร ใจฉันก็กระหายหาพระองค์อย่างนั้น พระเจ้า
1As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul longs after You, O God.
2ใจฉันกระหายพระเจ้า พระเจ้าผู้มีชีวิต เมื่อไรฉันจะได้มาอยู่ต่อหน้าพระเจ้า?
2My soul thirsts for God, the living God. When shall I come and appear in God’s presence?
3น้ำตากลายเป็นอาหารของฉันทั้งวันทั้งคืน ขณะที่พวกเขาถามฉันไม่หยุดว่า “พระเจ้าของเจ้าอยู่ที่ไหน?”
3My tears have been my food both day and night, while men ask me all day long, “Where is your God?”
4เมื่อระลึกถึงเรื่องเหล่านี้ ฉันก็เทความในใจออกมา เคยเดินไปกับฝูงชน และนำขบวนไปยังบ้านของพระเจ้า ท่ามกลางเสียงยินดีและสรรเสริญ เป็นฝูงชนฉลองวันศักดิ์สิทธิ์
4These things come to mind as I pour out my soul: how I walked with the multitude, leading the procession to the house of God with shouts of joy and praise.
5ใจฉันเอ๋ย ทำไมจึงท้อแท้? ทำไมจึงกระสับกระส่ายอยู่ข้างใน? จงหวังในพระเจ้า! เพราะฉันยังจะสรรเสริญพระองค์ เพราะพระองค์อยู่ใกล้และช่วยฉันให้รอด
5Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why the unease within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him for the salvation of His presence.
6พระเจ้าของฉัน ใจฉันท้อแท้อยู่ข้างใน ฉันจึงระลึกถึงพระองค์จากแผ่นดินริมจอร์แดน จากยอดเขาเฮอร์โมน จากเนินมิซาร์
6O my God, my soul despairs within me. Therefore I remember You from the land of Jordan and the peaks of Hermon— even from Mount Mizar.
7ห้วงลึกเรียกหาห้วงลึก ท่ามกลางเสียงน้ำตกของพระองค์ คลื่นทุกลูกและเกลียวคลื่นของพระองค์ถาโถมทับฉัน
7Deep calls to deep in the roar of Your waterfalls; all Your breakers and waves have rolled over me.
8กลางวัน พระยาห์เวห์จะบัญชาให้ความรักมั่นคงของพระองค์อยู่กับฉัน กลางคืนบทเพลงของพระองค์จะอยู่กับฉัน เป็นคำอธิษฐานถึงพระเจ้าแห่งชีวิตของฉัน
8The LORD decrees His loving devotion by day, and at night His song is with me as a prayer to the God of my life.
9ฉันจะถามพระเจ้า ศิลาของฉันว่า “ทำไมพระองค์ลืมฉัน? ทำไมฉันต้องเดินเศร้า เพราะศัตรูกดขี่?”
9I say to God my Rock, “Why have You forgotten me? Why must I walk in sorrow because of the enemy’s oppression?”
10คำเยาะเย้ยของศัตรูเหมือนดาบทิ่มอยู่ในกระดูก ขณะที่พวกเขาถามฉันไม่หยุดว่า “พระเจ้าของเจ้าอยู่ที่ไหน?”
10Like the crushing of my bones, my enemies taunt me, while they say to me all day long, “Where is your God?”
11ใจฉันเอ๋ย ทำไมจึงท้อแท้? ทำไมจึงกระสับกระส่ายอยู่ข้างใน? จงหวังในพระเจ้า! เพราะฉันยังจะสรรเสริญพระองค์ ผู้ช่วยให้ฉันเงยหน้าได้ และเป็นพระเจ้าของฉัน
11Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why the unease within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.
