1พระยาห์เวห์ ใจฉันไม่หยิ่งผยอง ดวงตาไม่ทะนงตน ไม่หมกมุ่นกับเรื่องใหญ่โต หรือสิ่งอัศจรรย์ที่เกินตัว
1My heart is not proud, O LORD, my eyes are not haughty. I do not aspire to great things or matters too lofty for me.
2ฉันทำใจให้สงบและนิ่งแล้วจริง ๆ เหมือนเด็กหย่านมอยู่กับแม่ ใจฉันสงบนิ่งเหมือนเด็กหย่านม
2Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3อิสราเอลเอ๋ย จงหวังในพระยาห์เวห์ ตั้งแต่บัดนี้และตลอดไป
