1พระองค์เข้าไปในธรรมศาลาอีกครั้ง ที่นั่นมีชายคนหนึ่งมือข้างหนึ่งลีบ
1And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.
2พวกเขาจับตาดูพระองค์ว่าจะรักษาชายคนนั้นในวันสะบาโตหรือไม่ เพื่อจะได้กล่าวหาพระองค์
2And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.
3พระองค์กล่าวกับชายที่มือลีบว่า “ลุกขึ้นยืน”
3And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.
4แล้วพระองค์กล่าวกับพวกเขาว่า “ในวันสะบาโต อนุญาตให้ทำความดีหรือทำร้าย? ช่วยชีวิตหรือฆ่า?” แต่พวกเขานิ่งเงียบ
4And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
5พระองค์มองไปรอบ ๆ ด้วยความโกรธ และเศร้าใจเพราะใจของพวกเขาแข็งกระด้าง แล้วกล่าวกับชายคนนั้นว่า “ยื่นมือออกมา” เขาก็ยื่นมือออก และมือของเขาก็กลับเป็นปกติดีเหมือนอีกข้าง
5And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

6And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
7พระเยซูถอยไปที่ทะเลพร้อมกับสาวกของพระองค์ ฝูงชนจำนวนมากจากแคว้นกาลิลีและแคว้นยูเดียติดตามพระองค์
7But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judæa,
8รวมทั้งผู้คนจากเยรูซาเล็ม อิดูเมอา อีกฟากหนึ่งของแม่น้ำจอร์แดน และบริเวณเมืองไทระกับไซดอน เมื่อฝูงชนจำนวนมากได้ยินถึงสิ่งยิ่งใหญ่ที่พระองค์ทำ พวกเขาก็มาหาพระองค์
8And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.
9พระองค์บอกสาวกให้เตรียมเรือลำเล็กไว้ใกล้ ๆ เพื่อไม่ให้ฝูงชนเบียดพระองค์
9And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.
10เพราะพระองค์รักษาคนจำนวนมาก จนผู้ที่มีโรคต่าง ๆ พากันเบียดเสียดเข้าหาพระองค์ เพื่อจะได้แตะพระองค์
10For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.
11ทุกครั้งที่วิญญาณที่ไม่บริสุทธิ์เห็นพระองค์ พวกมันก็หมอบลงต่อหน้าพระองค์และร้องว่า “ท่านคือพระบุตรของพระเจ้า!”
11And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
12พระองค์กำชับพวกมันอย่างเข้มงวดไม่ให้เปิดเผยเรื่องพระองค์
12And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.
13พระองค์ขึ้นไปบนภูเขา และเรียกคนที่พระองค์ต้องการให้มาหา แล้วพวกเขาก็มาหาพระองค์
13And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.
14พระองค์แต่งตั้งสิบสองคน เพื่อให้พวกเขาอยู่กับพระองค์ และเพื่อจะส่งพวกเขาออกไปประกาศ
14And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,
15ทั้งให้มีอำนาจรักษาโรคและขับปีศาจ
15And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:
16คือ ซีโมน ซึ่งพระองค์ให้ชื่อว่า เปโตร
16And Simon he surnamed Peter;
17ยากอบลูกของเศเบดี และยอห์นพี่น้องของยากอบ ซึ่งพระองค์ให้ชื่อว่า โบอาเนอร์เกส หมายความว่า “บุตรแห่งฟ้าร้อง”
17And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:
18อันดรูว์ ฟีลิป บารโธโลมิว มัทธิว โธมัส ยากอบลูกของอัลเฟอัส ธัดเดอัส ซีโมนผู้เป็นเซโลเต
18And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
19และยูดาสอิสคาริโอท ผู้ซึ่งทรยศพระองค์ แล้วพระองค์ก็เข้าไปในบ้านหลังหนึ่ง
19And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.
20ฝูงชนมารวมกันอีก จนพวกเขาไม่สามารถแม้แต่จะกินอาหาร
20And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
21เมื่อคนใกล้ชิดของพระองค์ได้ยินเรื่องนี้ พวกเขาก็ออกไปจับตัวพระองค์ เพราะพวกเขาพูดว่า “เขาเสียสติไปแล้ว”
21And when his friends heard of it , they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.
22พวกอาลักษณ์ที่ลงมาจากเยรูซาเล็มกล่าวว่า “เขามีเบเอลเซบูลอยู่ในตัว” และ “เขาขับปีศาจโดยอำนาจของเจ้าแห่งปีศาจ”
22¶ And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.
23พระองค์เรียกพวกเขามา และกล่าวกับพวกเขาเป็นอุปมาว่า “ซาตานจะขับซาตานออกได้อย่างไร?
23And he called them unto him , and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?
24ถ้าอาณาจักรหนึ่งแตกแยกกันเอง อาณาจักรนั้นก็ตั้งอยู่ไม่ได้
24And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
25ถ้าบ้านหนึ่งแตกแยกกันเอง บ้านนั้นก็ตั้งอยู่ไม่ได้
25And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
26ถ้าซาตานลุกขึ้นต่อสู้กับตัวเองและแตกแยกกัน เขาก็ตั้งอยู่ไม่ได้ แต่ถึงจุดจบ
26And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
27ไม่มีใครเข้าไปในบ้านของคนที่มีกำลังมากและปล้นทรัพย์ของเขาได้ เว้นแต่จะมัดคนนั้นเสียก่อน แล้วจึงจะปล้นบ้านของเขาได้
27No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.
28“เราบอกความจริงแก่พวกคุณว่า บาปทุกอย่างของมนุษย์จะได้รับการยกโทษ รวมทั้งคำหมิ่นประมาทต่าง ๆ ที่พวกเขากล่าว
28Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
29แต่ผู้ใดกล่าวหมิ่นประมาทพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์ ผู้นั้นจะไม่มีวันได้รับการยกโทษ แต่ต้องรับโทษชั่วนิรันดร์”
29But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
30ที่พระองค์กล่าวเช่นนี้ก็เพราะพวกเขาพูดว่า “เขามีวิญญาณที่ไม่บริสุทธิ์สิงอยู่”
30Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
31แม่และพี่น้องของพระองค์มาถึง พวกเขายืนอยู่ข้างนอก และส่งคนเข้าไปเรียกพระองค์
31¶ There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.
32ฝูงชนนั่งอยู่รอบพระองค์ พวกเขาบอกพระองค์ว่า “ดูสิ แม่ พี่น้องชาย และพี่น้องหญิง ของท่านอยู่ข้างนอกกำลังตามหาท่าน”
32And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.
33พระองค์ตอบว่า “แม่ของเราและพี่น้องของเราคือใคร?”
33And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?
34แล้วพระองค์มองไปรอบ ๆ ที่คนซึ่งนั่งอยู่รอบพระองค์ และกล่าวว่า “ดูสิ นี่คือแม่และพี่น้องของเรา!
34And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
35เพราะผู้ใดทำตามพระประสงค์ของพระเจ้า ผู้นั้นคือพี่น้องชาย พี่น้องหญิง และแม่ของเรา”
35For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
