1ด้วยเหตุนี้ ข้าพเจ้าเปาโล ผู้ถูกจองจำเพราะพระคริสต์เยซูเพื่อพวกคุณคนต่างชาติ
1For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
2พวกคุณคงได้ยินแล้วว่า พระเจ้ามอบหมายให้ข้าพเจ้าดูแลพระคุณที่พระองค์ประทานแก่ข้าพเจ้าเพื่อพวกคุณ
2If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
3พระองค์เปิดเผยความลับนั้นให้ข้าพเจ้ารู้ ดังที่ข้าพเจ้าเขียนไว้สั้น ๆ ก่อนหน้านี้
3How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
4เมื่อพวกคุณอ่านสิ่งที่ข้าพเจ้าเขียน ก็จะมองเห็นความเข้าใจของข้าพเจ้าเกี่ยวกับความลับของพระคริสต์
4Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
5ในยุคก่อน ๆ ความลับนี้ไม่ได้ถูกเปิดเผยแก่มนุษย์ เหมือนที่บัดนี้พระเจ้าได้เปิดเผยแก่อัครทูตและผู้เผยพระวจนะผู้บริสุทธิ์ของพระองค์โดยพระวิญญาณ
5Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
6ความลับนั้นคือ คนต่างชาติได้ร่วมเป็นทายาท เป็นสมาชิกของร่างกายเดียวกัน และร่วมรับพระสัญญาของพระองค์ในพระคริสต์เยซูผ่านทางข่าวดี
6That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
7ข้าพเจ้าได้เป็นผู้รับใช้ของข่าวดีนี้ ตามของขวัญแห่งพระคุณของพระเจ้าที่มอบแก่ข้าพเจ้า ตามการทำงานแห่งพลังของพระองค์
7Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
8พระคุณนี้มอบแก่ข้าพเจ้า ผู้ต่ำต้อยที่สุดในบรรดาผู้บริสุทธิ์ทั้งปวง เพื่อให้ข้าพเจ้าประกาศแก่คนต่างชาติถึงความมั่งคั่งของพระคริสต์ที่หยั่งไม่ถึง
8Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
9และทำให้ทุกคนเห็นว่าความลับนี้มีการจัดการอย่างไร ความลับนี้ถูกซ่อนไว้ตลอดหลายยุคในพระเจ้า ผู้สร้างทุกสิ่งโดยพระเยซูคริสต์
9And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
10เพื่อบัดนี้ ปัญญาของพระเจ้าที่มีหลากหลายแง่มุมจะได้เป็นที่รู้จักแก่บรรดาผู้ครองและผู้มีอำนาจในแดนสวรรค์ โดยประชาคม
10To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
11ทั้งนี้เป็นไปตามแผนการนิรันดร์ที่พระองค์ทำให้สำเร็จในพระคริสต์เยซูองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเรา
11According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
12ในพระองค์ เรามีความกล้า และด้วยความเชื่อในพระองค์ เราจึงเข้าถึงพระเจ้าได้ด้วยความมั่นใจ
12In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
13เพราะฉะนั้น ข้าพเจ้าขอให้พวกคุณอย่าท้อใจเพราะความทุกข์ยากที่ข้าพเจ้าเผชิญเพื่อพวกคุณ สิ่งเหล่านี้เป็นพระสิริของพวกคุณ
13Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
14ด้วยเหตุนี้ ข้าพเจ้าจึงคุกเข่าต่อพระบิดาของพระเยซูคริสต์องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเรา
14For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15ซึ่งทุกครอบครัวทั้งในสวรรค์และบนแผ่นดินโลกได้รับชื่อจากพระองค์
15Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16ขอพระองค์ประทานแก่พวกคุณตามความอุดมแห่งพระสิริของพระองค์ ให้ตัวตนภายในของพวกคุณมีกำลังเข้มแข็งขึ้นด้วยพลังโดยพระวิญญาณของพระองค์
16That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17เพื่อให้พระคริสต์อาศัยอยู่ในหัวใจของพวกคุณด้วยความเชื่อ และให้พวกคุณหยั่งรากและตั้งมั่นในความรัก
17That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18เพื่อพวกคุณจะมีกำลังที่จะเข้าใจร่วมกับผู้บริสุทธิ์ทุกคน ว่าความกว้าง ความยาว ความสูง และความลึกนั้นมากเพียงใด
18May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19และรู้จักความรักของพระคริสต์ที่เหนือกว่าความรู้ เพื่อพวกคุณจะเต็มเปี่ยมด้วยความเต็มเปี่ยมทั้งหมดของพระเจ้า
19And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
20บัดนี้ พระองค์สามารถทำได้มากยิ่งกว่าทุกสิ่งที่เราขอหรือคิด อย่างเหลือล้นเกินประมาณ ตามพลังที่ทำงานอยู่ในเรา
20Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21ขอพระสิริมีแด่พระองค์ในประชาคมและในพระคริสต์เยซูตลอดทุกชั่วอายุคน เป็นนิตย์ตลอดไป อาเมน
21Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
