1And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
1พระเยซูออกจากพระวิหาร และกำลังเดินไป สาวกของพระองค์เข้ามาชี้ให้พระองค์ดูอาคารของพระวิหาร
2And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
2แต่พระองค์ตอบพวกเขาว่า “พวกคุณเห็นสิ่งเหล่านี้ทั้งหมดใช่ไหม? เราบอกความจริงแก่พวกคุณว่า ที่นี่จะไม่มีหินเหลือซ้อนกันแม้แต่ก้อนเดียว ทุกก้อนจะถูกรื้อลง”
3¶ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
3ขณะพระองค์นั่งอยู่บนภูเขามะกอกเทศ สาวกเข้ามาหาพระองค์เป็นการส่วนตัว และถามว่า “โปรดบอกพวกเราว่า สิ่งเหล่านี้จะเกิดขึ้นเมื่อไร? และอะไรคือหมายสำคัญแห่งการเสด็จมาของท่าน กับการสิ้นสุดของยุค?”
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
4พระเยซูตอบพวกเขาว่า “จงระวังอย่าให้ใครหลอกพวกคุณ
5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
5เพราะหลายคนจะมาในนามของเรา และพูดว่า ‘เราคือพระคริสต์’ แล้วจะทำให้คนมากมายหลงผิด
6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
6พวกคุณจะได้ยินเรื่องสงคราม และข่าวลือเรื่องสงคราม อย่าตื่นตระหนก เพราะสิ่งเหล่านี้ต้องเกิดขึ้น แต่ยังไม่ถึงจุดจบ
7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
7ชนชาติจะลุกขึ้นต่อสู้ชนชาติ และอาณาจักรต่อสู้อาณาจักร จะเกิดการกันดารอาหาร โรคระบาด และแผ่นดินไหวในที่ต่าง ๆ
8All these are the beginning of sorrows.
8แต่ทั้งหมดนี้เป็นเพียงการเริ่มต้นของความเจ็บปวดก่อนคลอด
9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
9“แล้วพวกเขาจะมอบพวกคุณให้ถูกกดขี่ และจะฆ่าพวกคุณ ทุกชนชาติจะเกลียดชังพวกคุณเพราะนามของเรา
10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
10เวลานั้น หลายคนจะสะดุดล้ม จะทรยศกัน และเกลียดชังกัน
11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
11จะมีผู้เผยพระวจนะเท็จหลายคนเกิดขึ้น และทำให้คนมากมายหลงผิด
12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
12เพราะความชั่วร้ายจะเพิ่มขึ้น ความรักของคนจำนวนมากจะเย็นชาลง
13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
13แต่ผู้ที่อดทนจนถึงที่สุดจะรอด
14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
14ข่าวดีเรื่องอาณาจักรนี้จะได้รับการประกาศไปทั่วโลก เพื่อเป็นพยานแก่ทุกชนชาติ แล้วจุดจบจะมาถึง
15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
15“เพราะฉะนั้น เมื่อพวกคุณเห็นสิ่งน่ารังเกียจแห่งความรกร้าง ซึ่งกล่าวไว้ผ่านดาเนียลผู้เผยพระวจนะ ยืนอยู่ในสถานที่ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ (ผู้อ่านจงเข้าใจ)
16Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
16เวลานั้น คนที่อยู่ในแคว้นยูเดียจงหนีไปยังภูเขา
17Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
17คนที่อยู่บนดาดฟ้าอย่าลงมาเอาสิ่งของในบ้าน
18Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
18คนที่อยู่ในทุ่งอย่ากลับไปเอาเสื้อผ้าของตน
19And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
19วิบัติแก่หญิงมีครรภ์ และมารดาที่กำลังให้นมลูกในวันเหล่านั้น!
20But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
20จงอธิษฐานขออย่าให้การหนีของพวกคุณเกิดขึ้นในฤดูหนาว หรือในวันสะบาโต
21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
21เพราะเวลานั้นจะมีความทุกข์ยากใหญ่หลวง อย่างที่ไม่เคยมีมาตั้งแต่เริ่มต้นโลกจนถึงบัดนี้ และจะไม่มีอีก
22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
22ถ้าวันเหล่านั้นไม่ถูกทำให้สั้นลง ก็จะไม่มีมนุษย์คนใดรอด แต่เพราะเห็นแก่ผู้ที่ได้รับเลือก วันเหล่านั้นจะถูกทำให้สั้นลง
23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
23“ถ้าเวลานั้นมีใครบอกพวกคุณว่า ‘ดูสิ พระคริสต์อยู่ที่นี่!’ หรือ ‘ดูสิ อยู่ที่นั่น!’ อย่าเชื่อ
24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
24เพราะจะมีพระคริสต์เท็จและผู้เผยพระวจนะเท็จเกิดขึ้น พวกเขาจะแสดงหมายสำคัญและการอัศจรรย์ใหญ่หลวง เพื่อจะหลอกแม้แต่ผู้ที่ได้รับเลือก ถ้าเป็นไปได้
25Behold, I have told you before.
25“เราบอกพวกคุณไว้ล่วงหน้าแล้ว
26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
26“เพราะฉะนั้น ถ้าพวกเขาบอกพวกคุณว่า ‘ดูสิ พระองค์อยู่ในถิ่นทุรกันดาร’ อย่าออกไป หรือว่า ‘ดูสิ พระองค์อยู่ในห้องด้านใน’ อย่าเชื่อ
27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
27เพราะฟ้าแลบจากทิศตะวันออกมองเห็นได้ถึงทิศตะวันตกฉันใด การเสด็จมาของบุตรมนุษย์ก็จะเป็นฉันนั้น
28For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
28ซากศพอยู่ที่ไหน ฝูงแร้ง ก็จะรวมตัวกันที่นั่น
29¶ Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
29“ทันทีหลังความทุกข์ยาก ในวันเหล่านั้น ดวงอาทิตย์จะมืด ดวงจันทร์จะไม่ส่องแสง ดวงดาวจะตกจากฟ้า และพลังแห่งสวรรค์จะสั่นสะเทือน
30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
30แล้วหมายสำคัญของบุตรมนุษย์จะปรากฏบนท้องฟ้า ทุกเผ่าบนแผ่นดินโลกจะคร่ำครวญ และจะเห็นบุตรมนุษย์มาบนเมฆแห่งท้องฟ้า ด้วยฤทธิ์เดชและพระสิริยิ่งใหญ่
31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
31พระองค์จะส่งเหล่าทูตสวรรค์ของพระองค์ออกไป พร้อมเสียงแตรดัง และพวกเขาจะรวบรวมผู้ที่พระองค์ทรงเลือกจากลมทั้งสี่ ตั้งแต่ปลายฟ้าด้านหนึ่งถึงอีกด้านหนึ่ง
32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
32“จงเรียนรู้อุปมาจากต้นมะเดื่อ เมื่อกิ่งของมันอ่อน และผลิใบ พวกคุณก็รู้ว่าฤดูร้อนใกล้แล้ว
33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
33เช่นเดียวกัน เมื่อพวกคุณเห็นสิ่งเหล่านี้ทั้งหมด ก็จงรู้ว่าพระองค์อยู่ใกล้แล้ว ถึงหน้าประตู
34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
34เราบอกความจริงแก่พวกคุณว่า คนรุ่นนี้ จะไม่ผ่านไป จนกว่าสิ่งเหล่านี้ทั้งหมดจะสำเร็จ
35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
35สวรรค์และโลกจะผ่านพ้นไป แต่ถ้อยคำของเราจะไม่ผ่านพ้นไป
36¶ But of that day and hour knoweth no man , no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
36“แต่วันและเวลานั้นไม่มีใครรู้ แม้แต่ทูตสวรรค์ในสวรรค์ มีแต่พระบิดาของเราเท่านั้นที่รู้
37But as the days of Noe were , so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
37ในสมัยของโนอาห์เป็นอย่างไร การเสด็จมาของบุตรมนุษย์ก็จะเป็นอย่างนั้น
38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
38เพราะในวันก่อนน้ำท่วมเหล่านั้น มีทั้งการกิน การดื่ม การแต่งงาน และการยกให้แต่งงาน จนถึงวันที่โนอาห์เข้าเรือ
39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
39พวกเขาไม่รู้อะไร จนน้ำท่วมมาและพัดพวกเขาไปหมด การเสด็จมาของบุตรมนุษย์ก็จะเป็นอย่างนั้น
40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
40เวลานั้น จะมีชายสองคนอยู่ในทุ่ง คนหนึ่งจะถูกรับไป อีกคนจะถูกทิ้งไว้
41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41จะมีหญิงสองคนกำลังโม่แป้งอยู่ คนหนึ่งจะถูกรับไป อีกคนจะถูกทิ้งไว้
42¶ Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
42เพราะฉะนั้น จงเฝ้าระวัง เพราะพวกคุณไม่รู้ว่าองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของพวกคุณจะมาเวลาใด
43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
43แต่จงรู้ข้อนี้ว่า ถ้าเจ้าของบ้านรู้ว่าขโมยจะมาในยามไหนของกลางคืน เขาคงเฝ้าอยู่ และไม่ยอมให้ขโมยงัดเข้าไปในบ้านของตน
44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
44เพราะฉะนั้น พวกคุณก็จงเตรียมพร้อม เพราะบุตรมนุษย์จะมาในเวลาที่พวกคุณไม่คาดคิด
45Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
45“ถ้าอย่างนั้น ใครคือคนรับใช้ที่ซื่อสัตย์และฉลาด ซึ่งนายแต่งตั้งให้ดูแลคนในบ้าน เพื่อแจกอาหารให้พวกเขาตามเวลา?
46Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
46คนรับใช้คนนั้นย่อมเป็นสุข เมื่อนายกลับมาแล้วพบว่าเขากำลังทำเช่นนั้น
47Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
47เราบอกความจริงแก่พวกคุณว่า นายจะแต่งตั้งเขาให้ดูแลทรัพย์สินทั้งหมด
48But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
48แต่ถ้าคนรับใช้ชั่วคนนั้นคิดในใจว่า ‘นายของเรายังไม่กลับมา’
49And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
49แล้วเริ่มตีเพื่อนคนรับใช้ และกินดื่มกับคนเมา
50The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him , and in an hour that he is not aware of,
50นายของคนรับใช้คนนั้นจะมาในวันที่เขาไม่คาดคิด และในเวลาที่เขาไม่รู้
51And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
51แล้วจะฟันเขาเป็นชิ้น ๆ และให้เขามีส่วนร่วมกับพวกคนหน้าซื่อใจคด ที่นั่นจะมีการร้องไห้และขบเขี้ยวเคี้ยวฟัน
