Bible Mutal (Kosraean)
1I am the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of His wrath.
1Nga pa sie su pula tari kalyeiyuk sin God.
2He hath led me and caused me to walk in darkness and not in light.
2El pwenyu ac sap nga in som nu yen lohsr matoltol.
3Surely against me He turneth His hand again and again all the day.
3El sringilyu na sringilyu ke sringsring na upa.
4My flesh and my skin hath He worn out; He hath broken my bones.
4El kanteya monuk ac kinet keik oan mangelik, ac el koteya sri keik.
5He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail.
5El kuhlusyuyak ke mwe keok ac fosrnga lulap.
6He hath made me to dwell in dark places, as those that have been long dead.
6El patokyula in muta in acn na lohsrlosr ac foulin ma misa oan we.
7He hath hedged me about, that I cannot go forth; He hath made my chain heavy.
7El kapriyuwi ke sein; nga sie mwet kapir su wangin finsrak la in kaingla.
8Yea, when I cry and call for help, He shutteth out my prayer.
8Nga wowoyak nu lucng in suk kasru, tusruktu God El tia lungse porongeyu.
9He hath enclosed my ways with hewn stone, He hath made my paths crooked.
9Nga tukulkul ke nga fahsr, ac pot eot uh kosreyula yen nukewa nga for nu we.
10He is unto me as a bear lying in wait, as a lion in secret places.
10El kasrikiyu oana soko bear; el sroma nu fuk oana soko lion.
11He hath turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces; He hath made me desolate.
11El ukweyuyak liki inkanek uh, seseya monuk nu ke ip srisrik, na El som likiyu.
12He hath bent His bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.
12El amakinya mwe pisr natul ah, ac oru tuh in nga pa El akola in pisrik uh.
13He hath caused the arrows of His quiver to enter into my reins.
13El pusrukma sukan pisr natul, na liksreni tilyang nu in monuk.
14I am become a derision to all my people, and their song all the day.
14Mwet uh isrunyu len nufon se; nga mwe tafunkas nu selos nukewa.
15He hath filled me with bitterness, He hath sated me with wormwood.
15Mwe keok upa mukena pa El ase tuh in mwe mongo nak ac ma nimuk.
16He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, He hath made me to wallow in ashes.
16El ilya mutuk infohk uh, ac kotalik wihsik fin eot uh.
17And my soul is removed far off from peace, I forgot prosperity.
17Nga tila esam lah mea kalmen misla ku engan uh.
18And I said: 'My strength is perished, and mine expectation from the LORD.'
18Tiana loes pacl lula ke moul luk; wanginla finsrak luk in LEUM GOD .
19Remember mine affliction and mine anguish, the wormwood and the gall.
19Nunak luk ke waiok luk ac ke wangin acn in muta luk uh, oana sie pwasin na mwen.
20My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is bowed down within me.
20Nga tia tui in nunku kac, ac ngunik toasrlana.
21This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
21Tusruktu finsrak luk sifilpa foloko ke nga esamak ma se inge:
22Surely the LORD'S mercies are not consumed, surely His compassions fail not.
22Lungse kawil ac pakoten lun LEUM GOD uh tiana wanginla;
23They are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness.
23Aksasuyeyuk ke lotutang nukewa, ac arulana oaru oana takak lun faht uh ke len nukewa.
24'The LORD is my portion', saith my soul; 'Therefore will I hope in Him.'
24LEUM GOD mukena pa oasr yuruk uh; ke ma inge El na pa mwe finsrak luk.
25The LORD is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him.
25LEUM GOD El wo nu sin mwet nukewa su lulalfongi in El.
26It is good that a man should quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
26Ke ma inge, wo tuh kut in mongfisrasr in tupan molela lal —
27It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.
27Oayapa wo kut in akpahye kut in mongfisrasr ke pacl kut fusr uh.
28Let him sit alone and keep silence, because He hath laid it upon him.
28In pacl kut keok uh, kut enenu in mukena muta misla ac muteng.
29Let him put his mouth in the dust, if so be there may be hope.
29Kut enenu in pasrla nwe ten ac eiskutyang nu sel, tuh sahp srakna oasr finsrak.
30Let him give his cheek to him that smiteth him, let him be filled full with reproach.
30Finne puopo ac akkolukyeyuk kut, enenu kut in mislana.
31For the Lord will not cast off for ever.
31Leum El pakoten ac El fah tia siskutlana nwe tok.
32For though He cause grief, yet will He have compassion according to the multitude of His mercies.
32Sahp El ac akasorye kut, tusruktu lungse lal nu sesr pwayena ac ku na.
33For He doth not afflict willingly, nor grieve the children of men.
33El tia insewowo in oru kut in asor ku waiok.
34To crush under foot all the prisoners of the earth,
34Leum El etu pacl ngunasr akkeokyeyuk in presin uh;
35To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the Most High,
35El etu ke pacl ma mwet uh tia ase suwohs lasr ma El oakiya nu sesr.
36To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approveth not.
36Ke pacl ma nununku suwohs uh tia orek, El etu.
37Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?
37Ma lungse lun Leum mukena pa orek pacl nukewa.
38Out of the mouth of the Most High proceedeth not evil and good?
38Ma wo ac ma koluk kewana ac orekla fal nu ke sap lal.
39Wherefore doth a living man complain, a strong man because of his sins?
39Efu ku kut in torkaskas ke kalyeiyuk kut ke ma koluk lasr?
40Let us search and try our ways, and return to the LORD.
40Lela kut in tuni ouiyen orekma lasr ac folokla nu yurin LEUM GOD .

47Ma lasr nukewa kunausyukla ac sikiyukla; kut muta in sensen ac sangeng.
48Mine eye runneth down with rivers of water, for the breach of the daughter of my people.

52They have chased me sore like a bird, that are mine enemies without cause.
52“Srifusryuki nga oana sie won sin mwet lokoalok, su wanginna sripa lalos in srungayu.
53They have cut off my life in the dungeon, and have cast stones upon me.

55I called upon Thy name, O LORD, Out of the lowest dungeon.
55“Nga wowoyak nu sum, O LEUM GOD , liki kapin luf sac me,
56Thou heardest my voice; hide not Thine ear at my sighing, at my cry.

57Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon Thee; Thou saidst: 'Fear not.'
57Kom topukyu ac fahk nu sik nga in tia sangeng.
58O Lord, Thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; Thou hast redeemed my life.
58“O Leum, kom tuku in loangeyu, ac kom molela moul luk.

61Thou hast heard their taunt, O LORD, and all their devices against me;

62The lips of those that rose up against me, and their muttering against me all the day.
62Elos kaskas keik ac oru akoo koluk lalos len nufon.
63Behold Thou their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their song.
63Elos isrunyu ke lotutang lac nwe ke fongeni.
64Thou wilt render unto them a recompense, O LORD, according to the work of their hands.
64“O LEUM GOD , kalyaelos ke ma elos oru inge.
65Thou wilt give them hardness of heart, Thy curse unto them.
65Oru sie selnga na upa nu faclos, ac oru nunkalos in arulana fosrngala.
66Thou wilt pursue them in anger, and destroy them from under the heavens of the LORD.
66Sokolosyak ac sukelosla liki fin faclu.”
