1Te phoeiah Shuhi Bildad loh a doo tih,
1Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said:
2“A taemrhai ham neh birhihnah he amah hut ni. Amah kah hmuensang ah rhoepnah a saii.
2Dominion and fear are with Him; He maketh peace in His high places.
3A caem taengah hlangmi om nim?. U soah nim amah kah vangnah a hlah pawh.
3Is there any number of His armies? And upon whom doth not His light arise?
4Te dongah hlanghing he Pathen taengah metlam a tang thai? Huta kah a sak te metlam a cim eh?
4How then can man be just with God? Or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
5A mikhmuh ah hla pataeng khaw aa pawt tih aisi khaw a cil moenih.
5Behold, even the moon hath no brightness, and the stars are not pure in His sight;
6Hlanghing aisat a rhit banghui ni, hlang capa khaw talam banghui,” a ti nah.
6How much less man, that is a worm! and the son of man, that is a maggot!
