1တဖန် ရှုအာ အမျိုးသားဗိလဒဒ် မြွက်ဆို သည် ကား၊
1Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said:
2ဘုရားသခင်သည် အာဏာ တော်နှင့်၎င်း ၊ ကြောက်ရွံ့ ရိုသေဘွယ်သော ဂုဏ်တော်နှင့်၎င်း ပြည့်စုံ၍၊ မြင့် သောဌာနတော်၌ ငြိမ်သက် ခြင်းကို ပြုစု တော်မူ၏။
2Dominion and fear are with Him; He maketh peace in His high places.
3ဗိုလ်ခြေ တော်တို့ကို ရေတွက် နိုင်သလော။ အလင်း တော်သည် အဘယ် သူကို မလင်းဘဲ နေသနည်း။
3Is there any number of His armies? And upon whom doth not His light arise?
4သို့ဖြစ်၍ လူ သည် ဘုရား သခင်ရှေ့ တော်၌ ကုသိုလ် ကို အဘယ်သို့ ရနိုင်သနည်း။ လူမိန်းမ ဘွားမြင် သောသူသည် အဘယ်သို့ သန့်ရှင်း နိုင်သနည်း။
4How then can man be just with God? Or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
5လ သော်လည်း အလင်းမ ရှိ။ ကြယ် သော်လည်း ရှေ့ တော်၌ မ ဖြူစင်။
5Behold, even the moon hath no brightness, and the stars are not pure in His sight;
6ထိုမျှမက ၊ တီကောင် ဖြစ်သောလူ ၊ ပိုးရွ ဖြစ်သောလူ သား ကို အဘယ်ဆိုဘွယ်ရာရှိသနည်းဟု မြွက်ဆို၏။
6How much less man, that is a worm! and the son of man, that is a maggot!
