1And he said to his disciples: It is impossible that scandals should not come: but woe to him through whom they come.
1耶穌又對門徒說：「絆倒人的事是免不了的；但那絆倒人的有禍了。
2It were better for him, that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should scandalize one of these little ones.
2就是把磨石拴在這人的頸項上，丟在海裏，還強如他把這小子裏的一個絆倒了。
3Take heed to yourselves. If thy brother sin against thee, reprove him: and if he do penance, forgive him.
3你們要謹慎！若是你的弟兄得罪 你 ，就勸戒他；他若懊悔，就饒恕他。
4And if he sin against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day be converted unto thee, saying, I repent; forgive him.
4倘若他一天七次得罪你，又七次回轉，說：『我懊悔了』，你總要饒恕他。」
5And the apostles said to the Lord: Increase our faith.
5使徒對主說：「 求主 加增我們的信心。」
6And the Lord said: If you had faith like to a grain of mustard seed, you might say to this mulberry tree, Be thou rooted up, and be thou transplanted into the sea: and it would obey you.
6主說：「你們若有信心像一粒芥菜種，就是對這棵桑樹說：『你要拔起根來，栽在海裏』，它也必聽從你們。
7But which of you having a servant ploughing, or feeding cattle, will say to him, when he is come from the field: Immediately go, sit down to meat:
7你們誰有僕人耕地或是放羊，從田裏回來，就對他說：『你快來坐下吃飯』呢？
8And will not rather say to him: Make ready my supper, and gird thyself, and serve me, whilst I eat and drink, and afterwards thou shalt eat and drink?
8豈不對他說：『你給我預備晚飯，束上帶子伺候我，等我吃喝完了，你才可以吃喝』嗎？
9Doth he thank that servant, for doing the things which he commanded him?
9僕人照所吩咐的去做，主人還謝謝他嗎？
10I think not. So you also, when you shall have done all these things that are commanded you, say: We are unprofitable servants; we have done that which we ought to do.
10這樣，你們做完了一切所吩咐的，只當說：『我們是無用的僕人，所做的本是我們應分做的。』」
11And it came to pass, as he was going to Jerusalem, he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
11耶穌往 耶路撒冷 去，經過 撒馬利亞 和 加利利 。
12And as he entered into a certain town, there met him ten men that were lepers, who stood afar off;
12進入一個村子，有十個長大痲瘋的，迎面而來，遠遠地站着，
13And lifted up their voice, saying: Jesus, master, have mercy on us.
13高聲說：「耶穌，夫子，可憐我們吧！」
14Whom when he saw, he said: Go, shew yourselves to the priests. And it came to pass, as they went, they were made clean.
14耶穌看見，就對他們說：「你們去把身體給祭司察看。」他們去的時候就潔淨了。
15And one of them, when he saw that he was made clean, went back, with a loud voice glorifying God.
15內中有一個見自己已經好了，就回來大聲歸榮耀與上帝，
16And he fell on his face before his feet, giving thanks: and this was a Samaritan.
16又俯伏在耶穌腳前感謝他；這人是 撒馬利亞 人。
17And Jesus answering, said, Were not ten made clean? and where are the nine?
17耶穌說：「潔淨了的不是十個人嗎？那九個在哪裏呢？
18There is no one found to return and give glory to God, but this stranger.
18除了這外族人，再沒有別人回來歸榮耀與上帝嗎？」
19And he said to him: Arise, go thy way; for thy faith hath made thee whole.
19就對那人說：「起來，走吧！你的信救了你了。 」
20And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come? he answered them, and said: The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
20法利賽人問：「上帝的國幾時來到？」耶穌回答說：「上帝的國來到不是眼所能見的。
21Neither shall they say: Behold here, or behold there. For lo, the kingdom of God is within you.
21人也不得說：『看哪，在這裏！看哪，在那裏！』因為上帝的國就在你們心裏。」
22And he said to his disciples: The days will come, when you shall desire to see one day of the Son of man; and you shall not see it.
22他又對門徒說：「日子將到，你們巴不得看見人子的一個日子，卻不得看見。
23And they will say to you: See here, and see there. Go ye not after, nor follow them:
23人將要對你們說：『看哪，在那裏！看哪，在這裏！』你們不要出去，也不要跟隨他們！
24For as the lightening that lighteneth from under heaven, shineth unto the parts that are under heaven, so shall the Son of man be in his day.
24因為人子在他 降臨 的日子，好像閃電從天這邊一閃直照到天那邊。
25But first he must suffer many things, and be rejected by this generation.
25只是他必須先受許多苦，又被這世代棄絕。
26And as it came to pass in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
26挪亞 的日子怎樣，人子的日子也要怎樣。
27They did eat and drink, they married wives, and were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark: and the flood came and destroyed them all.
27那時候的人又吃又喝，又娶又嫁，到 挪亞 進方舟的那日，洪水就來，把他們全都滅了。
28Likewise as it came to pass, in the days of Lot: they did eat and drink, they bought and sold, they planted and built.
28又好像 羅得 的日子；人又吃又喝，又買又賣，又耕種又蓋造。
29And in the day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
29到 羅得 出 所多瑪 的那日，就有火與硫磺從天上降下來，把他們全都滅了。
30Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man shall be revealed.
30人子顯現的日子也要這樣。
31In that hour, he that shall be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away: and he that shall be in the field, in like manner, let him not return back.
31當那日，人在房上，器具在屋裏，不要下來拿；人在田裏，也不要回家。
32Remember Lot’s wife.
32你們要回想 羅得 的妻子。
33Whosoever shall seek to save his life, shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose it, shall preserve it.
33凡想要保全生命的，必喪掉生命；凡喪掉生命的，必救活生命。
34I say to you: in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
34我對你們說，當那一夜，兩個人在一個床上，要取去一個，撇下一個。
35Two women shall be grinding together: the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left: two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be keft.
35兩個女人一同推磨，要取去一個，撇下一個。」
36They answering, say to him: Where, Lord?

37Who said to them: Wheresoever the body shall be, thither will the eagles also be gathered together.
37門徒說：「主啊，在哪裏 有這事 呢？」耶穌說：「屍首在哪裏，鷹也必聚在那裏。」
