1The word of the Lord, that came to Osee the son of Beeri, in the days of Ozias, Joathan, Achaz, and Ezechias kings of Juda, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joas king of Israel.
1當 烏西雅 、 約坦 、 亞哈斯 、 希西家 作 猶大 王， 約阿施 的兒子 耶羅波安 作 以色列 王的時候，耶和華的話臨到 備利 的兒子 何西阿 。
2The beginning of the Lord’s speaking by Osse: and the Lord said to Osee: Go, take thee a wife of fornications, and have of her children of fornications: for the land by fornication shall depart from the Lord.
2耶和華初次與 何西阿 說話，對他說：「你去娶淫婦為妻，也收那從淫亂所生的兒女；因為這地大行淫亂，離棄耶和華。」
3So he went, and took Gomer the daughter of Debelaim: and she conceived and bore him a son.
3於是， 何西阿 去娶了 滴拉音 的女兒 歌篾 。這婦人懷孕，給他生了一個兒子。
4And the Lord said to him: Call his name Jezrahel: for yet a little while, and I will visit the blood of Jezrahel upon the house of Jehu, and I will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.
4耶和華對 何西阿 說：「給他起名叫 耶斯列 ；因為再過片時，我必討 耶戶 家在 耶斯列 殺人流血的罪，也必使 以色列 家的國滅絕。
5And in that day I will break in pieces the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezrahel.
5到那日，我必在 耶斯列 平原折斷 以色列 的弓。」
6And she conceived again, and bore a daughter, and he said to him: Call her name, Without mercy: for I will not add any more to have mercy on the house of Israel, but I will utterly forget them.
6歌篾 又懷孕生了一個女兒， 耶和華 對 何西阿 說：「給她起名叫 羅‧路哈瑪 ；因為我必不再憐憫 以色列 家，決不赦免他們。
7And I will have mercy on the house of Juda, and I will save them by the Lord their God: and I will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, nor by horses, nor by horsemen.
7我卻要憐憫 猶大 家，使他們靠耶和華－他們的上帝得救，不使他們靠弓、刀、爭戰、馬匹，與馬兵得救。」
8And she weaned her that was called Without mercy. And she conceived, and bore a son.
8歌篾 給 羅‧路哈瑪 斷奶以後，又懷孕生了一個兒子。
9And he said: Call his name, Not my people: for you are not my people, and I will not be yours.
9耶和華 說：「給他起名叫 羅‧阿米 ；因為你們不作我的子民，我也不作你們的 上帝 。」
10And the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, that is without measure, and shall not be numbered. And it shall be in the place where it shall be said to them: You are not my people: it shall be said to them: Ye are the sons of the living God.
10然而， 以色列 的人數必如海沙，不可量，不可數。從前在甚麼地方對他們說「你們不是我的子民」，將來在那裏必對他們說「 你們是 永生上帝的兒子」。
11And the children of Juda, and the children of Israel shall be gathered together: and they shall appoint themselves one head, and shall come up out of the land: for great is the day of Jezrahel.
11猶大 人和 以色列 人必一同聚集，為自己立一個首領，從這地上去，因為 耶斯列 的日子必為大日。
