1除酵節（又名逾越 節 ）近了。
1Now the feast of unleavened bread, which is called the pasch, was at hand.
2祭司長和文士想法子怎麼才能殺害耶穌，是因他們懼怕百姓。
2And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might put Jesus to death: but they feared the people.
3這時，撒但入了那稱為 加略 人 猶大 的心；他本是十二門徒裏的一個。
3And Satan entered into Judas, who was surnamed Iscariot, one of the twelve.
4他去和祭司長並守殿官商量，怎麼可以把耶穌交給他們。
4And he went, and discoursed with the chief priests and the magistrates, how he might betray him to them.
5他們歡喜，就約定給他銀子。
5And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
6他應允了，就找機會，要趁眾人不在跟前的時候把耶穌交給他們。
6And he promised. And he sought opportunity to betray him in the absence of the multitude.
7除酵 節 ，須宰逾越 羊羔 的那一天到了。
7And the day of the unleavened bread came, on which it was necessary that the pasch should be killed.
8耶穌打發 彼得 、 約翰 ，說：「你們去為我們預備逾越 節的筵席 ，好叫我們吃。」
8And he sent Peter and John, saying: Go, and prepare for us the pasch, that we may eat.
9他們問他說：「要我們在哪裏預備？」
9But they said: Where wilt thou that we prepare?
10耶穌說：「你們進了城，必有人拿着一瓶水迎面而來，你們就跟着他，到他所進的房子裏去，
10And he said to them: Behold, as you go into the city, there shall meet you a man carrying a pitcher of water: follow him into the house where he entereth in.
11對那家的主人說：『夫子說：客房在哪裏？我與門徒好在那裏吃逾越 節的筵席 。』
11And you shall say to the goodman of the house: The master saith to thee, Where is the guest chamber, where I may eat the pasch with my disciples?
12他必指給你們擺設整齊的一間大樓，你們就在那裏預備。」
12And he will shew you a large dining room, furnished; and there prepare.
13他們去了，所遇見的正如耶穌所說的；他們就預備了逾越 節的筵席 。
13And they going, found as he had said to them, and made ready the pasch.
14時候到了，耶穌坐席，使徒也和他同坐。
14And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
15耶穌對他們說：「我很願意在受害以先和你們吃這逾越 節的筵席 。
15And he said to them: With desire I have desired to eat this pasch with you, before I suffer.
16我告訴你們，我不 再 吃 這筵席 ，直到成就在上帝的國裏。」
16For I say to you, that from this time I will not eat it, till it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17耶穌接過杯來，祝謝了，說：「你們拿這個，大家分着喝。
17And having taken the chalice, he gave thanks, and said: Take, and divide it among you:
18我告訴你們，從今以後，我不再喝這葡萄汁，直等上帝的國來到。」
18For I say to you, that I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, till the kingdom of God come.
19又拿起餅來，祝謝了，就擘開，遞給他們，說：「這是我的身體，為你們捨的，你們也應當如此行，為的是記念我。」
19And taking bread, he gave thanks, and brake; and gave to them, saying: This is my body, which is given for you. Do this for a commemoration of me.
20飯後也照樣拿起杯來，說：「這杯是用我血所立的新約，是為你們流出來的。
20In like manner the chalice also, after he had supped, saying: This is the chalice, the new testament in my blood, which shall be shed for you.
21看哪， 那賣我之人的手與我一同在桌子上。
21But yet behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.
22人子固然要照所預定的去世，但賣人子的人有禍了！」
22And the Son of man indeed goeth, according to that which is determined: but yet, woe to that man by whom he shall be betrayed.
23他們就彼此對問，是哪一個要做這事。
23And they began to inquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.
24門徒起了爭論，他們中間哪一個可算為大。
24And there was also a strife amongst them, which of them should seem to be the greater.
25耶穌說：「外邦人有君王為主治理他們，那掌權管他們的稱為恩主。
25And he said to them: The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and they that have power over them, are called beneficent.
26但你們不可這樣；你們裏頭為大的，倒要像年幼的，為首領的，倒要像服事人的。
26But you not so: but he that is the greater among you, let him become as the younger; and he that is the leader, as he that serveth.
27是誰為大？是坐席的呢？是服事人的呢？不是坐席的大嗎？然而，我在你們中間如同服事人的。
27For which is greater, he that sitteth at table, or he that serveth? Is it not he that sitteth at table? But I am in the midst of you, as he that serveth:
28我在磨煉之中，常和我同在的就是你們。
28And you are they who have continued with me in my temptations:
29我將國賜給你們，正如我父賜給我一樣，
29And I dispose to you, as my Father hath disposed to me, a kingdom;
30叫你們在我國裏，坐在我的席上吃喝，並且坐在寶座上，審判 以色列 十二個支派。」
30That you may eat and drink at my table, in my kingdom: and may sit upon thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
31主又說 ：「 西門 ！ 西門 ！撒但想要得着你們，好篩你們像篩麥子一樣；
31And the Lord said: Simon, Simon, behold Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
32但我已經為你祈求，叫你不至於失了信心。你回頭以後，要堅固你的弟兄。」
32But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and thou, being once converted, confirm thy brethren.
33彼得 說：「主啊，我就是同你下監，同你受死，也是甘心！」
33Who said to him: Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.
34耶穌說：「 彼得 ，我告訴你，今日雞還沒有叫，你要三次說不認得我。」
34And he said: I say to thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, till thou thrice deniest that thou knowest me. And he said to them:
35耶穌又對他們說：「我差你們出去的時候，沒有錢囊，沒有口袋，沒有鞋，你們缺少甚麼沒有？」他們說：「沒有。」
35When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, did you want anything?
36耶穌說：「但如今有錢囊的可以帶着，有口袋的也可以帶着，沒有刀的要賣衣服買刀。
36But they said: Nothing. Then said he unto them: But now he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise a scrip; and he that hath not, let him sell his coat, and buy a sword.
37我告訴你們， 經上 寫着說：『他被列在罪犯之中。』這話必應驗在我身上，因為那關係我的事必然成就。」
37For I say to you, that this that is written must yet be fulfilled in me: And with the wicked was he reckoned. For the things concerning me have an end.
38他們說：「主啊，請看！這裏有兩把刀。」耶穌說：「夠了。」
38But they said: Lord, behold here are two swords. And he said to them, It is enough.
39耶穌出來，照常往 橄欖山 去，門徒也跟隨他。
39And going out, he went, according to his custom, to the mount of Olives. And his disciples also followed him.
40到了那地方，就對他們說：「你們要禱告，免得入了迷惑。」
40And when he was come to the place, he said to them: Pray, lest ye enter into temptation.
41於是離開他們約有扔一塊石頭那麼遠，跪下禱告，
41And he was withdrawn away from them a stone’s cast; and kneeling down, he prayed,
42說：「父啊！你若願意，就把這杯撤去；然而，不要成就我的意思，只要成就你的意思。」
42Saying: Father, if thou wilt, remove this chalice from me: but yet not my will, but thine be done.
43有一位天使從天上顯現，加添他的力量。
43And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, strengthening him. And being in an agony, he prayed the longer.
44耶穌極其傷痛，禱告更加懇切，汗珠如大血點滴在地上。
44And his sweat became as drops of blood, trickling down upon the ground.
45禱告完了，就起來，到門徒那裏，見他們因為憂愁都睡着了，
45And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow.
46就對他們說：「你們為甚麼睡覺呢？起來禱告，免得入了迷惑！」
46And he said to them: Why sleep you? arise, pray, lest you enter into temptation.
47說話之間，來了許多人。那十二個門徒裏名叫 猶大 的，走在前頭，就近耶穌，要與他親嘴。
47As he was yet speaking, behold a multitude; and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near to Jesus, for to kiss him.
48耶穌對他說：「 猶大 ！你用親嘴 的暗號 賣人子嗎？」
48And Jesus said to him: Judas, dost thou betray the Son of man with a kiss?
49左右的人見光景不好，就說：「主啊！我們拿刀砍可以不可以？」
49And they that were about him, seeing what would follow, said to him: Lord, shall we strike with the sword?
50內中有一個人把大祭司的僕人砍了一刀，削掉了他的右耳。
50And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
51耶穌說：「到了這個地步，由他們吧！」就摸那人的耳朵，把他治好了。
51But Jesus answering, said: Suffer ye thus far. And when he had touched his ear, he healed him.
52耶穌對那些來拿他的祭司長和守殿官並長老說：「你們帶着刀棒出來拿我，如同拿強盜嗎？
52And Jesus said to the chief priests, and magistrates of the temple, and the ancients, that were come unto him: Are ye come out, as it were against a thief, with swords and clubs?
53我天天同你們在殿裏，你們不下手拿我。現在卻是你們的時候，黑暗掌權了。」
53When I was daily with you in the temple, you did not stretch forth your hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
54他們拿住耶穌，把他帶到大祭司的宅裏。 彼得 遠遠地跟着。
54And apprehending him, they led him to the high priest’s house. But Peter followed afar off.
55他們在院子裏生了火，一同坐着； 彼得 也坐在他們中間。
55And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were sitting about it, Peter was in the midst of them.
56有一個使女看見 彼得 坐在 火 光裏，就定睛看他，說：「這個人素來也是同那人一夥的。」
56Whom when a certain servant maid had seen sitting at the light, and had earnestly beheld him, she said: This man also was with him.
57彼得 卻不承認，說：「女子，我不認得他。」
57But he denied him, saying: Woman, I know him not.
58過了不多的時候，又有一個人看見他，說：「你也是他們一黨的。」 彼得 說：「你這個人！我不是。」
58And after a little while, another seeing him, said: Thou also art one of them. But Peter said: O man, I am not.
59約過了一小時，又有一個人極力地說：「他實在是同那人一夥的，因為他也是 加利利 人。」
59And after the space, as it were of one hour, another certain man affirmed, saying: Of a truth, this man was also with him; for he is also a Galilean.
60彼得 說：「你這個人！我不曉得你說的是甚麼！」正說話之間，雞就叫了。
60And Peter said: Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, as he was yet speaking, the cock crew.
61主轉過身來看 彼得 ， 彼得 便想起主對他所說的話：「今日雞叫以先，你要三次不認我。」
61And the Lord turning looked on Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, as he had said: Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
62他就出去痛哭。
62And Peter going out, wept bitterly.
63看守耶穌的人戲弄他，打他，
63And the men that held him, mocked him, and struck him.
64又蒙着他的眼，問他說：「你是先知，告訴我們打你的是誰？」
64And they blindfolded him, and smote his face. And they asked him, saying: Prophesy, who is it that struck thee?
65他們還用許多別的話辱罵他。
65And blaspheming, many other things they said against him.
66天一亮，民間的眾長老連祭司長帶文士都聚會， 把耶穌帶到他們的公會裏，
66And as soon as it was day, the ancients of the people, and the chief priests and scribes, came together; and they brought him into their council, saying: If thou be the Christ, tell us.
67說：「你若是基督，就告訴我們。」耶穌說：「我若告訴你們，你們也不信；
67And he saith to them: If I shall tell you, you will not believe me.
68我若問你們，你們也不回答。
68And if I shall also ask you, you will not answer me, nor let me go.
69從今以後，人子要坐在上帝權能的右邊。」
69But hereafter the Son of man shall be sitting on the right hand of the power of God.
70他們都說：「這樣，你是上帝的兒子嗎？」耶穌說：「你們所說的是。」
70Then said they all: Art thou then the Son of God? Who said: You say that I am.
71他們說：「何必再用見證呢？他親口所說的，我們都親自聽見了。」
71And they said: What need we any further testimony? for we ourselves have heard it from his own mouth.
