1ပသခါ အမည်ရှိ သော အဇုမ ပွဲ ခံခါနီး တွင် ၊
1Now the feast of unleavened bread, which is called the pasch, was at hand.
2ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အကြီးတို့နှင့် ကျမ်းပြု ဆရာတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ကို အဘယ်သို့ သတ် ရအံ့နည်းဟု ရှာကြံ ရကြသနည်းဟူမူကား၊ လူ များတို့ကို ကြောက် ကြ၏။
2And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might put Jesus to death: but they feared the people.
3ထိုအခါ စာတန် သည် တပည့် တော်တစ်ကျိပ် နှစ်ပါးအဝင်ဖြစ် သော ယုဒ ရှကာရုတ် အထဲ သို့ဝင် သည် ဖြစ်၍၊
3And Satan entered into Judas, who was surnamed Iscariot, one of the twelve.
4ထိုသူသည် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အကြီးများ၊ ဗိမာန်တော်မှူး များတို့ထံသို့သွား ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ယေရှု ကို အဘယ်သို့ အပ် ရမည်နည်းဟူ၍ တိုင်ပင် လေ၏။
4And he went, and discoursed with the chief priests and the magistrates, how he might betray him to them.
5ထိုသူ တို့သည်ဝမ်းမြောက်သောစိတ် ရှိ၍ ငွေ ပေး မည်ဟု ဝန်ခံ ကြ၏။
5And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
6ယုဒ ရှကာရုတ်သည်လည်းဝန်ခံ ပြီးမှ လူ များမ ရှိစဉ်တွင်ကိုယ်တော် ကို အပ် ခြင်းငှာအဆင်သင့် သော အချိန်ကာလကို ကြံ လျက် နေ၏။
6And he promised. And he sought opportunity to betray him in the absence of the multitude.
7ပသခါ သိုးသငယ်ကို သတ် ရသောနေ့တည်းဟူသောအဇုမ ပွဲနေ့ ရောက် သောအခါ၊
7And the day of the unleavened bread came, on which it was necessary that the pasch should be killed.
8ကိုယ်တော်က၊ ငါ တို့ စား ဘို့ရာ သင်တို့သည်သွား ၍ ပသခါ ပွဲကို ပြင်ဆင် ကြလော့ ဟု ပေတရု နှင့် ယောဟန် ကို စေလွှတ် တော်မူ၏။
8And he sent Peter and John, saying: Go, and prepare for us the pasch, that we may eat.
9သူတို့ကလည်း ၊ အဘယ် အရပ်၌ ပြင်ဆင် စေခြင်းငှာအလိုရှိ တော်မူသနည်းဟု မေးလျှောက် ကြသော်၊
9But they said: Where wilt thou that we prepare?
10ကိုယ်တော်က၊ သင် တို့သည် မြို့ ထဲသို့ ဝင် သောအခါ ရေ အိုး ဆောင် သောသူ ကိုတွေ့ လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုသူ နောက် သို့ လိုက်၍ သူဝင် သောအိမ် သို့ ဝင်ပြီးမှ၊
10And he said to them: Behold, as you go into the city, there shall meet you a man carrying a pitcher of water: follow him into the house where he entereth in.
11ငါသည် ငါ့ တပည့် တို့နှင့်တကွ ပသခါ ပွဲကိုစား ရသော ဧည့်သည်အခန်း ကား အဘယ်မှာ ရှိ သနည်း။ ဆရာ က မေး သည်ဟု အိမ် ရှင် ကို ပြော ကြလော့။
11And you shall say to the goodman of the house: The master saith to thee, Where is the guest chamber, where I may eat the pasch with my disciples?
12ထိုသူ သည် ပြင်ဆင် လျက်ရှိသောအထက်အခန်း ကြီး ကို ပြ လိမ့်မည်။ ထို အခန်း၌ ပြင်ဆင် ကြလော့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
12And he will shew you a large dining room, furnished; and there prepare.
13တပည့် တော်တို့သည် သွား ၍ စကား တော်အတိုင်း တွေ့ လျှင် ၊ ပသခါ ပွဲကို ပြင်ဆင် ကြ၏။
13And they going, found as he had said to them, and made ready the pasch.
14အချိန် ရောက် မှ တမန်တော် တစ်ကျိပ်နှစ်ပါးတို့နှင့်အတူ စားပွဲ၌ လျောင်း တော်မူ၍ ၊
14And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
15ငါ သည် အသေမ ခံ မှီ ဤ ပသခါ ပွဲကို သင် တို့နှင့်အတူ စား ခြင်းငှာအလွန် အလိုရှိ လေပြီ။
15And he said to them: With desire I have desired to eat this pasch with you, before I suffer.
16ငါ ဆိုသည်ကား ၊ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ နိုင်ငံ တော်၌ ပသခါပွဲမ ပြည့်စုံ မှီတိုင်အောင် ယခုမှစ၍ဤ ပွဲကို တဖန် ငါမ စား ရ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူလျက်၊
16For I say to you, that from this time I will not eat it, till it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17ခွက်ဖလား ကို ယူ ၍ ကျေးဇူး တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းပြီးမှ၊ ဤ ခွက်ကို ယူ ၍ အချင်းချင်း ဝေ ကြလော့။
17And having taken the chalice, he gave thanks, and said: Take, and divide it among you:
18ငါ ဆိုသည်ကား ၊ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ နိုင်ငံ တော် မ တည် မှီတိုင်အောင် ယခု မှစ၍ စပျစ်ရည် ကိုတဖန် ငါ မ သောက်ရ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
18For I say to you, that I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, till the kingdom of God come.
19ထိုအခါ မုန့် ကိုယူ ၍ ကျေးဇူး တော်ကိုချီးမွမ်းပြီးမှမုန့်ကိုဖဲ့ ၍ ၊ ဤ မုန့်ကား သင် တို့အဘို့ အလိုငှာ စွန့် သော ငါ ၏ကိုယ် ဖြစ် ၏။ ငါ့ ကို အောက်မေ့ ဘို့ရာ ဤသို့ ပြု ကြလော့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
19And taking bread, he gave thanks, and brake; and gave to them, saying: This is my body, which is given for you. Do this for a commemoration of me.
20ထိုနည်းတူ ညစာစား ပြီးမှ ခွက် ကိုလည်း ယူ၍၊ ဤ ခွက် ကား သင် တို့အဘို့ အလိုငှာ သွန်း သော ငါ ၏ အသွေး ၌ တည်သော ပဋိညာဉ်တရား သစ် ဖြစ်၏။
20In like manner the chalice also, after he had supped, saying: This is the chalice, the new testament in my blood, which shall be shed for you.
21သို့သော်လည်း ငါ့ ကို အပ်နှံ သောသူ ၏လက် သည် ဤစားပွဲ ပေါ်မှာ ငါ့ လက်နှင့်အတူ ရှိ ၏။
21But yet behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.
22ခွဲခန့် မှတ်သားတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း လူ သား သည် သွား ရမည်။ သို့သော်လည်း လူ သားကို အပ်နှံ သော သူ သည် အမင်္ဂလာ ရှိ၏ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
22And the Son of man indeed goeth, according to that which is determined: but yet, woe to that man by whom he shall be betrayed.
23တပည့် တော်တို့သည်လည်း ထိုအမှု ကို အဘယ်သူ ပြု အံ့နည်းဟု အချင်းချင်း မေးမြန်း ကြ၏။
23And they began to inquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.
24ထိုမှတစ်ပါး တပည့်တော်တို့သည် မိမိ တို့တွင် အဘယ်သူ သည် သာ၍ ကြီးမြတ်သနည်းဟု အချင်းချင်း ငြင်းခုံ ခြင်းရှိ သည်ဖြစ်၍၊
24And there was also a strife amongst them, which of them should seem to be the greater.
25ကိုယ်တော် က၊ လောကီ မင်း တို့သည် အစိုးတရ ပြုတတ်ကြ၏။ အာဏာ ထားသောသူ တို့ကိုလည်း ကျေးဇူး ရှင်ဟူ၍ခေါ်ဝေါ် ကြ၏။
25And he said to them: The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and they that have power over them, are called beneficent.
26သင် တို့မူကား ထိုသို့ မ ပြုကြနှင့်၊ သင် တို့တွင် အကဲအမှူး ပြုသောသူ ကို ငယ်သား ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်စေ ။ အုပ်စိုး သောသူ ကိုလည်း အစေခံ ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်စေ။
26But you not so: but he that is the greater among you, let him become as the younger; and he that is the leader, as he that serveth.
27အဘယ်သူ သည် သာ၍ ကြီးမြတ်သနည်း။ စားပွဲ ၌ လျောင်းသောသူ သည်ကြီးမြတ်သလော ။ လုပ်ကျွေး သောသူ သည် ကြီးမြတ်သလော။ စားပွဲ ၌ လျောင်းသောသူ သည်ကြီးမြတ်သည်မ ဟုတ်လော။ သို့သော်လည်း ငါ သည် သင် တို့တွင် လုပ်ကျွေး သောသူ ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ် ၏။
27For which is greater, he that sitteth at table, or he that serveth? Is it not he that sitteth at table? But I am in the midst of you, as he that serveth:
28ငါ သည် စုံစမ်း နှောင့်ရှက်ခြင်းကို ခံစဉ် တွင်သင် တို့သည် ငါ ၌မှီဝဲ သောသူ ဖြစ် ရာ၏။
28And you are they who have continued with me in my temptations:
29ငါ့ ခမည်းတော် သည် ငါ့ အား နိုင်ငံ ကို ပေး တော်မူသည်နှင့်အညီ ၊
29And I dispose to you, as my Father hath disposed to me, a kingdom;
30သင်တို့သည် ငါ ၏နိုင်ငံ တွင် ငါ့ စားပွဲ ၌ စား သောက် သောအခွင့်ကို၎င်း၊ တရား ပလ္လင်ပေါ်မှာ ထိုင် ၍ ဣသရေလ လူတစ်ဆယ်နှစ် မျိုး ကို အုပ်စိုး ရသောအခွင့်ကို၎င်း၊ ငါ သည် သင် တို့အား ပေး မည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
30That you may eat and drink at my table, in my kingdom: and may sit upon thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
31တဖန် သခင်ဘုရားက ၊ ရှိမုန် ၊ ရှိမုန် ၊ ဂျုံဆန် ကို ဆန်ခါ နှင့်ချသကဲ့သို့ စာတန် သည် သင် တို့ကို ချရမည်အကြောင်း အခွင့်တောင်းသည်ဖြစ်၍၊
31And the Lord said: Simon, Simon, behold Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
32သင် ၏ယုံကြည် သောစိတ် မ ပျက်စေခြင်းငှာ ငါ သည် သင့် အဘို့ ဆုတောင်း လေပြီ။ သင် သည် သတိရ ပြန်သောအခါ သင် ၏ညီအစ်ကို တို့ကို တည်ကြည် စေလော့ ဟု မိန့်တော်မူလျှင်၊
32But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and thou, being once converted, confirm thy brethren.
33ပေတရုက၊ သခင် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကိုယ်တော် နှင့်အတူ ထောင် ထဲသို့ ၎င်း ၊ အသေ သတ်ခြင်းသို့ ၎င်း လိုက် ခြင်းငှာအသင့် ရှိ ပါ၏ဟု လျှောက် လေသော်၊
33Who said to him: Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.
34သခင်ဘုရားက၊ ပေတရု ၊ ငါဆို သည်ကား၊ ယနေ့ တွင် ကြက် မ တွန် မှီ သင် သည် ငါ့ ကို မသိ ဟုသုံး ကြိမ်မြောက်အောင် ငြင်းပယ် လိမ့်မည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
34And he said: I say to thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, till thou thrice deniest that thou knowest me. And he said to them:
35တဖန် မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ အထက်က ငွေအိတ် ၊ လွယ်အိတ် ၊ ခြေနင်း မ ပါဘဲ သွားကြလော့ဟု သင် တို့ကို ငါစေလွှတ် သောအခါ တစ်စုံတစ်ခု လိုသလောဟု မေးလျှင်၊ တစ်စုံတစ်ခုမျှ မ လိုပါဟု လျှောက် ကြသော် ၊
35When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, did you want anything?
36ယခု မူကား ငွေအိတ် ရှိ သောသူ သည် ယူ စေ။ လွယ်အိတ် ရှိသောသူသည် ယူစေ။ ဓား မ ရှိ သော သူ သည် အဝတ် ကိုရောင်း ၍ ထားကိုဝယ် စေ။
36But they said: Nothing. Then said he unto them: But now he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise a scrip; and he that hath not, let him sell his coat, and buy a sword.
37အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ထိုသူသည်မတရား သောသူတို့နှင့် ရေတွက် ဝင်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်၏ဟူသော ကျမ်းစာ ချက်သည် ငါ ၌ ယခုပင် ပြည့်စုံ ရ မည်။ ငါ့ အမှုအရာတို့သည် ပြီးစီး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက် ကြပြီ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
37For I say to you, that this that is written must yet be fulfilled in me: And with the wicked was he reckoned. For the things concerning me have an end.
38ထိုသူ တို့ကလည်း ၊ သခင် ၊ ဓား နှစ် စင်းရှိပါ၏ဟု လျှောက် လျှင်၊ တန် ပြီ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
38But they said: Lord, behold here are two swords. And he said to them, It is enough.
39ထိုနောက် အလေ့ တော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း သံလွင် တောင် သို့ ထွက် ကြွ တော်မူ၍၊ တပည့် တော်တို့သည် နောက်တော်သို့ လိုက် ကြ၏။
39And going out, he went, according to his custom, to the mount of Olives. And his disciples also followed him.
40ထိုအရပ် သို့ ရောက် တော်မူလျှင် ၊ သင်တို့သည် စုံစမ်း နှောင့်ရှက်ခြင်းနှင့် ကင်းလွတ်မည်အကြောင်း ဆုတောင်း ကြလော့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူပြီးမှ၊
40And when he was come to the place, he said to them: Pray, lest ye enter into temptation.
41တပည့်တော်တို့နှင့် ကျောက်ခဲ တပစ် လောက် ခွာသွား ၍ ဒူး ထောက် လျက်၊
41And he was withdrawn away from them a stone’s cast; and kneeling down, he prayed,
42အိုအဘ ၊ အလိုတော်ရှိ လျှင် ဤ ခွက် ကို အကျွန်ုပ် မှ လွှဲ တော်မူပါ။ သို့သော်လည်း အကျွန်ုပ် အလိုရှိ သည်အတိုင်း မ ဖြစ်ပါစေနှင့်။ ကိုယ်တော် အလိုရှိသည်အတိုင်း ဖြစ် ပါစေသော ဟု ဆုတောင်း တော်မူ၏။
42Saying: Father, if thou wilt, remove this chalice from me: but yet not my will, but thine be done.
43ထိုအခါ ကောင်းကင်တမန် သည် ထင်ရှား လာ၍ ကိုယ်တော် ကို အားပေး ရ၏။
43And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, strengthening him. And being in an agony, he prayed the longer.
44ပြင်းစွာ သောဝေဒနာကိုခံ လျက် အထူးသဖြင့် ကြိုးစား၍ ဆုတောင်း တော်မူ၏။ ချွေး ထွက် တော်မူသည် ကား ၊ မြေ ပေါ်၌ ကျ သော သွေး စက် ခဲကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်သတည်း။
44And his sweat became as drops of blood, trickling down upon the ground.
45ထိုသို့ဆုတောင်း ပြီးမှ ၊ ယေရှုသည်ထ ၍ တပည့် တော်တို့ရှိရာသို့ ပြန် သောအခါ၊ သူ တို့သည် ဝမ်းနည်းသောစိတ် ရှိသည်နှင့် အိပ်ပျော် လျက် နေကြသည်ကို တွေ့ တော်မူလျှင်၊
45And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow.
46သင်တို့သည် အဘယ်ကြောင့် အိပ်ပျော် ကြသနည်း။ ထ ကြ။ စုံစမ်း နှောင့်ရှက်ခြင်းနှင့် ကင်းလွတ် မည် အကြောင်း ဆုတောင်း ကြလော့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
46And he said to them: Why sleep you? arise, pray, lest you enter into temptation.
47ထိုသို့ မိန့် တော်မူစဉ် တွင် ပင် တပည့်တော်တစ်ကျိပ် နှစ်ပါးအဝင်ဖြစ် သော ယုဒ ရှကာရုတ်သည် လူ အပေါင်းတို့ကို လမ်းပြလျက်လာ ၍ ၊ ယေရှု ကို နမ်း ခြင်းငှာချဉ်းကပ် လေ၏။
47As he was yet speaking, behold a multitude; and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near to Jesus, for to kiss him.
48ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ ယုဒါ သင်သည် နမ်း ခြင်းကို ပြုလျက် လူ သား ကိုအပ် သလော ဟု မေး တော်မူ၏။
48And Jesus said to him: Judas, dost thou betray the Son of man with a kiss?
49ယေရှု နှင့်အတူ ပါသောသူတို့သည် ဖြစ် အံ့သောအမှု ကို မြင် လျှင် ၊ သခင် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ဓား နှင့် ခုတ် ရပါမည်လောဟု မေးလျှောက် ပြီးမှ၊
49And they that were about him, seeing what would follow, said to him: Lord, shall we strike with the sword?
50တစ် ယောက်သည် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် မင်း၏ ကျွန် တစ် ယောက်ကို ခုတ် သဖြင့် လက်ျာ နားရွက် ပြတ် လေ၏။
50And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
51ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ တန် စေ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၍ နားရွက် ကို လက်တော်နှင့်တို့ သဖြင့် အနာကို ပျောက် စေတော်မူ၏။
51But Jesus answering, said: Suffer ye thus far. And when he had touched his ear, he healed him.
52ထိုအခါ အထံ တော်သို့ ရောက်လာ သော ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အကြီး၊ ဗိမာန် တော်မှူး ၊ လူ အကြီးအကဲတို့ အား ယေရှု က၊ သင်တို့သည် ဓားပြ ကို ဖမ်း သကဲ့သို့ ငါ့ကို ဘမ်း အံ့သောငှာဓား နှင့် ဒုတ် များကို လက်စွဲလျက်လာ ကြသည်တကား။
52And Jesus said to the chief priests, and magistrates of the temple, and the ancients, that were come unto him: Are ye come out, as it were against a thief, with swords and clubs?
53ငါ သည် ဗိမာန် တော်၌ သင် တို့နှင့်အတူ ရှိ နေစဉ်အခါသင်တို့သည် ငါ့ ကို မ ဘမ်း မဆီးကြ။ သို့သော်လည်း ယခု အချိန်ကား သင် တို့အချိန် ဖြစ် ၏။ မှောင်မိုက် တန်ခိုး လည်းဖြစ်၏ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
53When I was daily with you in the temple, you did not stretch forth your hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
54ထိုသူတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ကို ဘမ်းဆီး ၍ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် မင်း၏အိမ် သို့ ဆောင်သွား ကြ၏။ ပေတရု သည်လည်း သူတို့နှင့် ဝေး စွာလိုက် လေ၏။
54And apprehending him, they led him to the high priest’s house. But Peter followed afar off.
55အိမ်ဦး အလယ် ၌ မီး မွေး ပြီးမှ၊ လူများတို့ သည် စုဝေး၍ ထိုင် ကြလျှင်၊ ပေတရု သည်လည်း သူ တို့အထဲ ၌ ထိုင်နေ၏။
55And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were sitting about it, Peter was in the midst of them.
56ထိုသို့ ပေတရု သည် မီး အနား မှာ ထိုင် နေသည်ကို အစေအပါး မိန်းမတစ် ယောက်သည်မြင် လျှင် ၊ သူ့ ကို စေ့စေ့ ကြည့်၍ ၊ ဤသူ သည် ယေရှု နှင့် ပေါင်းဘော်သောသူဖြစ် သည်ဟု ဆို သော် ၊
56Whom when a certain servant maid had seen sitting at the light, and had earnestly beheld him, she said: This man also was with him.
57ပေတရုက၊ အချင်းမိန်းမ ၊ ထိုသူ ကို ငါမ သိ ဟု ငြင်း လေ၏။
57But he denied him, saying: Woman, I know him not.
58ထိုနောက် များမကြာ အခြားသော သူသည် ပေတရု ကိုမြင် လျှင် ၊ သင် သည်လည်း ထိုသူ တို့အဝင် ဖြစ် သည်ဟုဆို သော်၊ ပေတရု က ၊ အချင်းလူ ၊ ငါသည် သူတို့ အဝင်မ ဟုတ် ဟု ဆို ၏။
58And after a little while, another seeing him, said: Thou also art one of them. But Peter said: O man, I am not.
59တဖန် တ နာရီလောက် ကြာ ပြီးမှအခြား သောသူ က၊ အကယ်စင်စစ် ဤသူ သည် ယေရှု နှင့် ပေါင်းဖော်သောသူဖြစ် ၏။ ဂါလိလဲ လူလည်း ဖြစ် ၏ဟု ခိုင်မာ စွာဆို လျှင် ၊
59And after the space, as it were of one hour, another certain man affirmed, saying: Of a truth, this man was also with him; for he is also a Galilean.
60ပေတရု က ၊ အချင်းလူ ၊ သင်ပြော သောအရာ ကို ငါမ သိ ဟုဆို ၏။ ထိုစကားကိုပြော သော ခဏခြင်း တွင် ကြက် တွန် လေ၏။
60And Peter said: Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, as he was yet speaking, the cock crew.
61ထိုအခါ သခင် ဘုရားသည်လှည့် ၍ ပေတရု ကို ကြည့် တော်မူ၏။ ကြက် မ တွန် မှီ သင်သည် သုံး ကြိမ်မြောက်အောင် ငါ့ ကို ငြင်းပယ် လိမ့်မည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူသောစကား ကို ပေတရု သည် သတိရ သဖြင့် ၊
61And the Lord turning looked on Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, as he had said: Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
62ပြင် သို့ထွက် ၍ ပြင်းစွာ ငိုကြွေး လေ၏။
62And Peter going out, wept bitterly.
63ယေရှု ကို ကိုင်ဆွဲ သောသူ တို့သည်ကိုယ်တော် ကို ပြက်ယယ်ပြု ၍ ရိုက်ပုတ် ကြ၏။
63And the men that held him, mocked him, and struck him.
64မျက်နှာ တော်ကိုဖုံး ပြီးလျှင် လက်နှင့်ပုတ်လျက်၊ ကိုယ်တော် ကို အဘယ်သူ ပုတ် သည်ကို ပရောဖက် ပြု၍ ဟောတော်မူပါဟုဆို ကြ၏။
64And they blindfolded him, and smote his face. And they asked him, saying: Prophesy, who is it that struck thee?
65အခြား သောစကားများ ဖြင့်လည်း ကိုယ်တော် ကို ကဲ့ရဲ့ ၍ ပြောဆို ကြသေး၏။
65And blaspheming, many other things they said against him.
66မိုဃ်းလင်းသောအခါ လူ တို့တွင် အကြီးအကဲ ဖြစ်သောသူ ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အကြီး၊ ကျမ်းပြု ဆရာတို့ သည် စည်းဝေး ၍ ကိုယ်တော် ကို လွှတ်တော် သို့ ဆောင်သွား ပြီးလျှင် ၊
66And as soon as it was day, the ancients of the people, and the chief priests and scribes, came together; and they brought him into their council, saying: If thou be the Christ, tell us.
67သင် သည် ခရစ်တော် မှန် လျှင် ငါ တို့အား ပြော လော့ဟုဆို ကြ၏။ ယေရှုကလည်း ၊ ငါပြော လျှင် သင် တို့ သည် မ ယုံ ။
67And he saith to them: If I shall tell you, you will not believe me.
68ငါမေး လျှင် လည်း သင်တို့သည် မ ဖြေ ဘဲ၊ ငါ့ကို မ လွှတ်ဘဲနေကြလိမ့်မည်။
68And if I shall also ask you, you will not answer me, nor let me go.
69နောက်၌ လူ သား သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ တန်ခိုး တော်လက်ျာ ဘက်၌ ထိုင် တော်မူလတံ့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူသော်၊
69But hereafter the Son of man shall be sitting on the right hand of the power of God.
70ထိုသူအပေါင်း တို့က ၊ သို့ဖြစ်၍ သင် သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ သား တော်မှန် သည်တကားဟု ဆို ကြလျှင် ၊ သင် တို့ဆို သည်အတိုင်း မှန် သည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
70Then said they all: Art thou then the Son of God? Who said: You say that I am.
71ထိုသူတို့ကလည်း ၊ အဘယ် သက်သေ လို သေး သနည်း။ သူ ၏စကား ကို ငါ တို့ကိုယ်တိုင်ကြား ရပြီဟု ဆို ကြ၏။
71And they said: What need we any further testimony? for we ourselves have heard it from his own mouth.
