1眾人將上帝的 約 櫃請進去，安放在 大衛 所搭的帳幕裏，就在上帝面前獻燔祭和平安祭。
1And they brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it, and they offered burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God.
2大衛 獻完了燔祭和平安祭，就奉耶和華的名給民祝福，
2And when David had made an end of offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.
3並且分給 以色列 人，無論男女，每人一個餅，一塊 肉 ，一個葡萄餅。
3And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a cake made in a pan, and a sweet cake.
4大衛 派幾個 利未 人在耶和華的 約 櫃前事奉，頌揚，稱謝，讚美耶和華－ 以色列 的上帝：
4And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to celebrate and to thank and praise the LORD, the God of Israel:
5為首的是 亞薩 ，其次是 撒迦利雅 、 雅薛 、 示米拉末 、 耶歇 、 瑪他提雅 、 以利押 、 比拿雅 、 俄別‧以東 、 耶利 ，鼓瑟彈琴；惟有 亞薩 敲鈸，大發響聲；
5Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with psalteries and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;
6祭司 比拿雅 和 雅哈悉 常在上帝的約櫃前吹號。
6and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.
7那日， 大衛 初次藉 亞薩 和他的弟兄以詩歌稱頌耶和華， 說 ：
7Then on that day did David first ordain to give thanks unto the LORD, by the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
8你們要稱謝耶和華，求告他的名， 在萬民中傳揚他的作為！
8O give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name; make known His doings among the peoples.
9要向他唱詩、歌頌， 談論他一切奇妙的作為。
9Sing unto Him, sing praises unto Him; speak ye of all His marvellous works.
10要以他的聖名誇耀； 尋求耶和華的人，心中應當歡喜。
10Glory ye in His holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
11要尋求耶和華與他的能力， 時常尋求他的面。
11Seek ye the LORD and His strength; seek His face continually.
12他僕人 以色列 的後裔， 他所揀選 雅各 的子孫哪， 你們要記念他奇妙的作為和他的奇事， 並他口中的判語。
12Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth;

13O ye seed of Israel His servant, ye children of Jacob, His chosen ones.
14他是耶和華－我們的上帝， 全地都有他的判斷。
14He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
15你們要記念他的約，直到永遠； 他所吩咐的話，直到千代，
15Remember His covenant for ever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations;
16就是與 亞伯拉罕 所立的約， 向 以撒 所起的誓。
16The covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac;
17他又將這約向 雅各 定為律例， 向 以色列 定為永遠的約，
17And He established it unto Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant;
18說：我必將 迦南 地賜給你， 作你產業的分。
18Saying: 'Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.'
19當時你們人丁有限，數目稀少， 並且在那地為寄居的；
19When ye were but a few men in number, yea, very few, and sojourners in it,
20他們從這邦游到那邦， 從這國行到那國。
20And when they went about from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people,
21耶和華不容甚麼人欺負他們， 為他們的緣故責備君王，
21He suffered no man to do them wrong, yea, for their sake He reproved kings:
22說：不可難為我受膏的人， 也不可惡待我的先知！
22'Touch not Mine anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.'
23全地都要向耶和華歌唱！ 天天傳揚他的救恩，
23Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; proclaim His salvation from day to day.
24在列邦中述說他的榮耀， 在萬民中述說他的奇事。
24Declare His glory among the nations, His marvellous works among all the peoples.
25因耶和華為大，當受極大的讚美； 他在萬神之上，當受敬畏。
25For great is the LORD, and highly to be praised; He also is to be feared above all gods.
26外邦的神都屬虛無， 惟獨耶和華創造諸天。
26For all the gods of the peoples are things of nought; but the LORD made the heavens.
27有尊榮和威嚴在他面前， 有能力和喜樂在他聖所。
27Honour and majesty are before Him; strength and gladness are in His place.
28民中的萬族啊， 你們要將榮耀能力歸給耶和華，都歸給耶和華！
28Ascribe unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the peoples, ascribe unto the LORD glory and strength.
29要將耶和華的名所當得的榮耀歸給他， 拿供物來奉到他面前； 當以聖潔的妝飾敬拜耶和華。
29Ascribe unto the LORD the glory due unto His name; bring an offering, and come before Him; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
30全地要在他面前顫抖， 世界也堅定不得動搖。
30Tremble before Him, all the earth; the world also is established that it cannot be moved.
31願天歡喜，願地快樂； 願人在列邦中說： 耶和華作王了！
31Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; and let them say among the nations: 'The LORD reigneth.'
32願海和其中所充滿的澎湃； 願田和其中所有的都歡樂。
32Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; let the field exult, and all that is therein;
33那時，林中的樹木都要在耶和華面前歡呼， 因為他來要審判全地。
33Then shall the trees of the wood sing for joy, before the LORD, for He is come to judge the earth.
34應當稱謝耶和華； 因他本為善，他的慈愛永遠長存！
34O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever.
35要說：拯救我們的上帝啊，求你救我們， 聚集我們，使我們脫離外邦， 我們好稱讚你的聖名，以讚美你為誇勝。
35And say ye: 'Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks unto Thy holy name, that we may triumph in Thy praise.'
36耶和華－ 以色列 的上帝， 從亙古直到永遠，是應當稱頌的！ 眾民都說：「阿們！」並且讚美耶和華。
36Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. And all the people said: 'Amen,' and praised the LORD.
37大衛 派 亞薩 和他的弟兄在約櫃前常常事奉耶和華，一日盡一日的職分；
37So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required;
38又派 俄別‧以東 和他的弟兄六十八人，與 耶杜頓 的兒子 俄別‧以東 ，並 何薩 作守門的；
38and Obed-edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed-edom also the son of Jedithun and Hosah to be door-keepers;
39且派祭司 撒督 和他弟兄眾祭司在 基遍 的邱壇、耶和華的帳幕前燔祭壇上，每日早晚，照着耶和華律法書上所吩咐 以色列 人的，常給耶和華獻燔祭。
39and Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon,

40to offer burnt-offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of burnt-offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the Law of the LORD, which He commanded unto Israel;
41與他們一同被派的有 希幔 、 耶杜頓 ，和其餘被選名字錄在冊上的，稱謝耶和華，因他的慈愛永遠長存。
41and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because His mercy endureth for ever;
42希幔 、 耶杜頓 同着他們吹號、敲鈸，大發響聲，並用別的樂器隨着歌頌上帝。 耶杜頓 的子孫作守門的。
42and with them Heman and Jeduthun, to sound aloud with trumpets and cymbals, and with instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.
43於是眾民各歸各家； 大衛 也回去為家眷祝福。
43And all the people departed every man to his house; and David returned to bless his house.
