Jób 27

Kralice Bible (1613)
JPS Tanakh (Jewish Publication Society, 1917)
1Potom dále Job vedl řeč svou a řekl:
1And Job again took up his parable, and said:
2Živť jest Bůh silný, kterýž zavrhl při mou, a Všemohoucí, kterýž hořkostí naplnil duši mou,
2As God liveth, who hath taken away my right; and the Almighty, who hath dealt bitterly with me;
3Že nikoli, dokudž duše má ve mně bude a duch Boží v chřípích mých,
3All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils,
4Nebudou mluviti rtové moji nepravosti, a jazyk můj vynášeti lsti.
4Surely my lips shall not speak unrighteousness, neither shall my tongue utter deceit;
5Odstup ode mne, abych vás za spravedlivé vysvědčil; dokudž dýchati budu, neodložím upřímosti své od sebe.
5Far be it from me that I should justify you; till I die I will not put away mine integrity from me.
6Spravedlnosti své držím se, aniž se jí pustím; nezahanbíť mne srdce mé nikdy.
6My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go; my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.
7Bude jako bezbožník nepřítel můj, a povstávající proti mně jako nešlechetník.
7Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and let him that riseth up against me be as the unrighteous.
8Nebo jaká jest naděje pokrytce, by pak lakoměl, když Bůh vytrhne duši jeho?
8For what is the hope of the godless, though he get him gain, when God taketh away his soul?
9Will God hear his cry, when trouble cometh upon him?
10Zdaliž v Všemohoucím kochati se bude? Bude-liž vzývati Boha každého času?
10Will he have his delight in the Almighty, and call upon God at all times?
11I will teach you concerning the hand of God; that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.
12Aj, vy všickni to vidíte, pročež vždy tedy takovou marnost vynášíte?
12Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye become altogether vain?
13Ten má podíl člověk bezbožný u Boha silného, a to dědictví ukrutníci od Všemohoucího přijímají:
13This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty.
14If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword; and his offspring shall not have bread enough.
15Those that remain of him shall be buried by pestilence, and his widows shall make no lamentation.
16Nashromáždí-li jako prachu stříbra, a jako bláta najedná-li šatů:
16Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;
17Co najedná, to spravedlivý obleče, a stříbro nevinný rozdělí.
17He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.
18He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth which the keeper maketh.
19Bohatý když umře, nebude pochován; pohledí někdo, anť ho není.
19He lieth down rich, but there shall be not to gather; he openeth his eyes, and his wealth is not.
20Postihnou jej hrůzy jako vody, v noci kradmo zachvátí ho vicher.
20Terrors overtake him like waters; a tempest stealeth him away in the night.
21The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth; and it sweepeth him out of his place.
22Takové věci na něj dopustí Bůh bez lítosti, ačkoli před rukou jeho prudce utíkati bude.
22Yea, it hurleth at him, and spareth not; he would fain flee from its power.
23Tleskne nad ním každý rukama svýma, a ckáti bude z místa svého.
23Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
