Asang Khongca Bible (Eastern Khumi Chin, 2019)
King James Version with Apocrypha
1Aw Angraeng, nam lunghaih hoiah na tahmen raeh: na palung nathaih kalen parai hoiah ka sakpazaehaihnawk hae ciimsak ah.
1Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2Ka sakpazaehaih pasae paeh loe, ka zaehaih thung hoiah na ciimsak ah.
2Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3Tipongah tih nahaeloe ka sakpazae ih hmuennawk to ka panoek: ka zaehaih loe ka hmaa ah oh poe boeh.
3For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
4Na lok ka aek moeng boeh, nang khae khue ah, zaehaih ka sak moe, na hmaa ah sethaih ka sak moeng boeh: to pongah lok na thuih naah na toenghaih to amtueng, coek koi om ai ah lok na caek.
4Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
5Khenah, tapen tangsuek nathuem hoiah ka zae boeh; kam no mah zaehaih hoiah ang pomh boeh.
5Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6Khenah, nang loe athung ah loktang oh hanah na koeh: ka palung hanah palunghahaih to na patuk ah.
6Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7Hyssop hoiah na pasae ah, to tiah nahaeloe ka ciim tih: na pasae ah, to tih nahaeloe dantui pongah kang lung kue tih.
7Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8Anghoehaih hoi oephaih lok to na thaisak ah; to tiah nahaeloe nang khaehsak ih ka huhnawk to anghoe o tih.
8Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9Ka zaehaihnawk pongah na mikhmai to hawk ving ah loe, ka sakpazaehaihnawk boih to ciimsak ah.
9Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10Aw Sithaw, ka thungah kaciim palung to suem ah, ka thungah muithla to angthasak ah.
10Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11Na hmaa hoiah na haek ving hmah, kai khae ih kacai na Muithla to la ving hmah.
11Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12Na pahlonghaih hoi kasaeng anghoehaih to na paek let ah loe, poekhoihaih hoiah na patawn ah.
12Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13To tiah nahaeloe hmuen sah pazae kaminawk khaeah na loklam to ka patuek thai ueloe, zae kaminawk doeh nang khaeah amlaem o let tih.
13Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14Aw Sithaw, kai akrangkung Sithaw, kami athii palong zaehaih thung hoiah na pahlong ah: to tiah nahaeloe ka palai mah na toenghaih laa to sah tih.
14Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15Aw Angraeng, ka pahni hae paong ah: to tiah nahaeloe ka pakha mah nang pakoehhaih lok to thui tih.
15O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16Nang loe angbawnhaih to na koeh ai; nang koeh nahaeloe angbawnhaih to kang paek han boeh: nang loe hmai angbawnhaih ah nang hoe ai.
16For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17Sithaw mah koeh ih angbawnhaihnawk loe, kamro phaeng palung hae ni: Aw Sithaw, kakoi phaeng palung hoi dawnpakhuemhaih palung tawn kaminawk to na patoek mak ai.
17The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18Zion mae loe na koehhaih baktiah omsak ah; Jerusalem sipaenawk to pathawk let ah.
18Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19To naah toenghaih hoi paek ih angbawnhaih, hmai angbawnhaih, takpum boih hmai angbawnhaih to nang hoe haih tih; to pacoengah loe nihcae mah na hmaicam ah maitaw taenawk to paek o tih boeh.
19Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.
