King James Version with Apocrypha
1Kai ih palungthin loe hoihaih hoiah angphui tahang moe, ka sak atimhaih to siangpahrang hmaa ah ka thuih: ka palai loe ca tarik kop kami ih cacung ah oh.
1My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
2Nang loe kaminawk pongah na hoih kue: na pahni loe tahmenhaih hoiah koi: to pongah Sithaw mah dungzan khoek to tahamhoihaih ang paek.
2Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
3Aw thacak koek, na lensawkhaih hoi na thacakhaih hoiah, na sumsen to na phaih nuiah angnaeng ah.
3Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.
4Loktang ah ohhaih, poeknaemhaih, na toenghaih ah na lensawkhaih to amtueng moe, hmabang ah caeh poe; na bantang ban mah zitthok hmuennawk to na patuek tih.
4And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
5Kanoe nang ih palaanawk mah siangpahrang misanawk ih palung thuem ah kah pae, to naah kaminawk loe na khok tlim ah amtim o.
5Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king’s enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.
6Aw Sithaw, na angraeng tangkhang loe dungzan khoek to cak: na prae ukhaih cunghet loe toenghaih cunghet ah oh.
6Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
7Nang loe toenghaih to na koeh moe, sethaih to na hnukma: to pongah Sithaw, na Sithaw mah, nam puinawk pong kamthlai ah, anghoehaih situi hoiah ang bawh.
7Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
8Tasaino hoi sak ih siangpahrang imthung hoiah lak ih, myrrh, aloes, hmuihoih thing hoi khukbuennawk mah, nang han palung anghoesak.
8All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.
9Siangpahrang ih canunawk loe na khingya han koi nongpatanawk thungah athum o: na bantang bangah loe Ophir sui hoiah amthoep siangpahrang zu to angdoet.
9Kings’ daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
10Aw canu, tahngai ah, na naa to patuengh loe poek ah; nangmah ih kaminawk hoi nam pa im doeh pahnet lai ah;
10Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house;
11na kranghoihaih mah siangpahrang to anghoesak tih: anih loe na Angraeng ah oh pongah, anih to pakoeh ah.
11So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.
12Tura canu loe tangqum sin ueloe, angzo tih; angraengnawk mah doeh na koehhaih sak hanah na hni o tih.
12And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.
13Siangpahrang canu loe athung ah lensawkhaihnawk boih hoiah oh: anih loe sui hoiah sak ih khukbuen to angkhuk.
13The king’s daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.

15Anghoehaih hoiah nihcae to hoi o ueloe, siangpahrang ohhaih imthung ah akun o haih tih.
15With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king’s palace.
16Na caanawk mah nam panawk ih ahmuen to la o ueloe, long nui boih ah nihcae to angraeng ah na omsak tih.
16Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.
