1Тодї приступили голови поколїнь Левіїних до Елеазара сьвященника та до Ісуса Навина й до голов у поколїннях Ізрайлевих,
1Then came near the heads of fathers' houses of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of fathers' houses of the tribes of the children of Israel;
2І промовляли до них у Силомі, у Канаан землї оттак:
2and they spoke unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying: 'The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the open land thereabout for our cattle.'
3Господь заповідав через Мойсея поступитись нам містами на прожиток і пасовищами про нашу скотину, що тягнуть до них. І передали сини Ізрайлеві по обіцянцї Господнїй левитам із паїв своїх ось які городи вкупі з пасовищами, що до них належали:
3And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the commandment of the LORD, these cities with the open land about them.
4Вийшов жереб про родини Каатові, і допалось по жеребу синам Арона сьвященника, левитам, від поколїння Юдиного і від поколїння Симеонового, і від поколїння Беняминового по жеребу тринайцять міст;
4And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites; and the children of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.
5Инші ж потомки Каатові одержали від родин поколїння Ефраїмового і від поколїння Данового і від полуколїна Манассієвого по жеребу десять городів.
5And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.
6Потомки Герсона одержали від родин у поколїннї Іссахаровому, і від поколїння Ассерового, і від поколїння Нафталїєвого та від півколїна Манассієвого в Базанї по жеребу тринайцять городів;
6And the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
7(Деякі) родини потомків Мерариних одержали від поколїння Рубенового і від поколїння Гадового, і від поколїння Зебулонового дванайцять городів.
7The children of Merari according to their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
8І передали сини Ізрайлеві левитам сї міста вкупі з передмістями, як заповідав Господь через Мойсея, по жеребу.
8And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with the open land about them, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
9Поступилися ж вони від поколїння Юдиного і від поколїння Симеонового ось якими названими городами:
9And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are here mentioned by name.
10Синам Арона з родини Каатової, із потомків Левії, — на їх бо спершу випав жереб — дано
10And they were for the children of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi; for theirs was the first lot.
11Киріят-Арбу, батька Енакового, або Геброн, на Юдиних горах, вкупі з пасовищами, що тягли до їх навкруги.
11And they gave them Kiriath-arba, which Arba was the father of Anak — the same is Hebron — in the hill-country of Judah, with the open land round about it.
12А поле сего міста й села його передали вони Калебові Ефуніенкові, яко наслїдню державу, що йому припала.
12But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.
13І так потомкам Арона, сьвященника, передали вони охоронний город для убийця: Геброн вкупі з пасовищами, що до його тягли, і Либну вкупі з передмістями її,
13And unto the children of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron with the open land about it, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Libnah with the open land about it;
14Яттир вкупі з пасовищами його, Ештемо вкупі з пасовищами його,
14and Jattir with the open land about it, and Eshtemoa with the open land about it;
15Холон вкупі з пасовищами його, Дабир вкупі з пасовищами його,
15and Holon with the open land about it, and Debir with the open land about it;
16Анн укупі з пасовищами його, Ютту вкупі з пасовищами її, та Бет-Семеш укупі з передмістями, що тягли до його — девять городів від обох названих поколїнь.
16and Ain with the open land about it, and Juttah with the open land about it, and Beth-shemesh with the open land about it; nine cities out of those two tribes.
17А від поколїння Беняминового: Габаон укупі з пасовищами його, Геву укупі з пасовищами її,
17And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with the open land about it, Geba with the open land about it;
18Анатот укупі з передмістями його та Алмон укупі з пасовищами його, — разом чотири міста.
18Anathoth with the open land about it, and Almon with the open land about it; four cities.
19Оце ж одержали потомки Арона, сьвященника, всього тринайцять городів укупі з пасовищами їх.
19All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with the open land about them.
20А що до родин приписаних до левитів, потомків Каатових, прочих потомків Каатових, то їм допались по жеребу їх міста від поколїння Ефраїмового;
20And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites, even the rest of the children of Kohath, they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.
21Дали їм охоронне місто про убийця, Сихем укупі з пасовищами його, на Ефраїмових горах, і Гезер укупі з передмістями його,
21And they gave them Shechem with the open land about it in the hill-country of Ephraim, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Gezer with the open land about it;
22Кивзаїм укупі з пасовищами його, та Бет-Орон укупі з передмістями його: чотири міста;
22and Kibzaim with the open land about it, and Beth-horon with the open land about it; four cities.
23А від поколїння Данового: Елтеке укупі з пасовищами його, Гивветон укупі з пасовищами його,
23And out of the tribe of Dan, Elteke with the open land about it, Gibbethon with the open land about it;
24Аялон укупі з пасовищами його, та Гат-Риммон укупі з пасовищами його — чотири міста;
24Aijalon with the open land about it, Gath-rimmon with the open land about it; four cities.
25А від поколїння Манассієвого: Таанах з пасовищами його, та Гат-Риммон укупі з передмістями його: два міста.
25And out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with the open land about it, and Gath-rimmon with the open land about it; two cities.
26А всього одержали родини останнїх потомків Каата десять городів укупі з пасовищами їх.
26All the cities of the families of the rest of the children of Kohath were ten with the open land about them.
27Далїй одержали між родинами Левіїв потомки Герсонові від половини поколїння Манассієвого: охороние місто про убийця Голан у Базанї вкупі з пасовищами його, та Беес-Теру вкупі з пасовищами її — два міста.
27And unto the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half-tribe of Manasseh they gave Golan in Bashan with the open land about it, the city of refuge for the manslayer; and Beeshterah with the open land about it; two cities.
28А від поколїння Іссахарового: Кисіон укупі з пасовищами його, Даверат з пасовищами його,
28And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishion with the open land about it, Dobrath with the open land about it;
29Ярмут з пасовищами його, та Ен-Ганним з пасовищами його — чотири міста.
29Jarmuth with the open land about it, En-gannim with the open land about it; four cities.
30А від поколїння Ассерового: Мишал укупі з пасовищами його, та Абдон і передмістя його,
30And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with the open land about it, Abdon with the open land about it;
31Хелкат укупі з пасовищами його, та Регоб укупі з пасовищами його — чотири городи.
31Helkath with the open land about it, and Rehob with the open land about it; four cities.
32А від поколїння Нафталїєвого: охоронний город про убийця: Кедес у Галилеї вкупі з пасовищами його; Гаммот-Дор укупі з пасовищами його, та Картан укупі з пасовищами його — три городи.
32And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with the open land about it, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Hammoth-dor with the open land about it, and Kartan with the open land about it; three cities.
33Оце ж одержали разом родини Герсонові усього тринайцять городів укупі з пасовищами, що тягли до їх.
33All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with the open land about them.
34Родини ж потомків Мерарієвих, ще останнїх левитів, осягли від поколїння Зебулонового: Йокнеам укупі з пасовищами його, Карту з пасовищами її,
34And unto the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with the open land about it, and Kartah with the open land about it;
35Димну з пасовищами її, та Нагалал вкупі з пасовищами його — чотири городи.
35Dimnah with the open land about it, Nahalal with the open land about it; four cities.
36А від поколїння Рубенового: охоронний город про убийця: Безер, у степу, з пасовищами його, Яаца з пасовищами його,
36And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with the open land about it, and Jahaz with the open land about it;
37Кадемот з пасовищами його, та Мефаат укупі з пасовищами його — чотири городи.
37Kedemoth with the open land about it, and Mephaath with the open land about it; four cities.
38А від поколїння Гадового: охоронний город про убийця: Рамот у Галаадї вкупі з пасовищами його, Маганаїм з пасовищами його,
38And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with the open land about it, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Mahanaim with the open land about it;
39Гесбон укупі з пасовищами його, та Язер укупі з пасовищами його: всього чотири городи.
39Heshbon with the open land about it, Jazer with the open land about it; four cities in all.
40Сим робом деякі родини потомків Мерарієвих, що були ще останком від поколїння Левії, осягли яко частину, що випала їм по жеребу, всього дванайцять городів.
40All these were the cities of the children of Merari according to their families, even the rest of the families of the Levites; and their lot was twelve cities.
41Всїх міст левитських, що випали їм по жеребу серед наслїдньої держави Ізраїлської, сорок і вісїм укупі з пасовищами, що тягли до їх.
41All the cities of the Levites — forty and eight cities with the open land about them — shall be in the midst of the possession of the children of Israel,
42У кожньому названому городї були навкруги пасовища, що до його тягли; так було по всїх названих містах.
42even these cities, every one with the open land round about it; thus it shall be with all these cities.
43І надїлив Господь Ізраїлеві всю землю, що клявшись обітував її батькам їх, і осягли вони її в державу та й осїлись там.
43So the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which He swore to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
44І дарував їм Господь супокій навкруги, так само, як він клявся батькам їх. Нїхто з усїх їх ворогів не встояв проти них; Господь усїх їх ворогів подав їм на поталу.
44And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that He swore unto their fathers; and there stood not a man of all their enemies against them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45З усїх обітниць, що давав Господь Ізрайлевому домові, нї одна не була марною; усе справдилось.
45There failed not aught of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.
