1Також і синам Йосифовим припав жеробом удїл від Йорданї навпроти Ерихону, у вод Ерихонських на схід сонця: пустиня, що простягаєсь від Ерихону ʼд горі Бетель;
1And the lot for the children of Joseph went out from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, going up from Jericho through the hill-country to the wilderness, even to Beth-el.
2Від Бетеля йде границя до Лузи і переходить через займище Архіївське до Атароту.
2And it went out from Beth-el-luz, and passed along unto the border of the Archites to Ataroth.
3І спускається на захід сонця до займища Яфлетіївського, до займища низового Бет-Орона та до Газера, і кінчається над морем.
3And it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, unto the border of Beth-horon the nether, even unto Gezer; and the goings out thereof were at the sea.
4І се одержали сини Йосифові Манассій та Ефраїм.
4And the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.
5Займище ж синів Ефраїмових по родинах їх було таке: Від сходу була гряниця їх наслїдньої держави Атарот-Аддар аж до верхового Бет-Орону.
5And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus; even the border of their inheritance eastward was Atroth-addar, unto Beth-horon the upper.
6Потім тягнеться гряниця до моря північньою стороною Махмета та вертає на схід сонця на Таанат-Сило і проходить його з східньої сторони Яноха.
6And the border went out westward, Mich-methath being on the north; and the border turned about eastward unto Taanath-shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah.
7Від Яноха ж тягнеться вона на Атарот і Наарат та стикається з займищем Ерихонським і кінчиться на Йорданї;
7And it went down from Janoah to Ataroth, and to Naarah, and reached unto Jericho, and went out at the Jordan.
8Від Таппуаха йде гряниця на захід сонця до річки Кана і кіньчиться над морем. Се удїл синів Ефраїмових по родинам їх.
8From Tappuah the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families;
9До того видїлено синам Ефраїмовим міста і села ще й в паю синів Манассієвих.
9together with the cities which were separated for the children of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.
10Та не повиганяли однакже вони Канааніїв, що жили в Газері, так і зостались Канаанії жити між Ефраїміями по сей день, і платили вони їм дань.
10And they drove not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwelt in the midst of Ephraim, unto this day, and became servants to do taskwork.
