1A sorte saiu para os filhos de José desde o Jordão em Jericó, junto às águas de Jericó no leste, até o deserto, subindo de Jericó pela região montanhosa até Betel.
1And the lot for the children of Joseph went out from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, going up from Jericho through the hill-country to the wilderness, even to Beth-el.
2Saiu de Betel para Luz, e passou pela fronteira dos arquitas até Atarote;
2And it went out from Beth-el-luz, and passed along unto the border of the Archites to Ataroth.
3e desceu para o oeste até a fronteira dos jafletitas, até a fronteira de Bete-Horom inferior, e prosseguiu até Gezer; e terminou no mar.
3And it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, unto the border of Beth-horon the nether, even unto Gezer; and the goings out thereof were at the sea.
4Os filhos de José, Manassés e Efraim, tomaram a sua herança.
4And the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.
5Esta foi a fronteira dos filhos de Efraim, segundo as suas famílias. A fronteira da sua herança para o leste era Atarote-Adar, até Bete-Horom superior.
5And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus; even the border of their inheritance eastward was Atroth-addar, unto Beth-horon the upper.
6A fronteira saiu para o oeste em Micmetate, ao norte. A fronteira virou para o leste até Taanate-Siló, e passou por ela a leste de Janoa.
6And the border went out westward, Mich-methath being on the north; and the border turned about eastward unto Taanath-shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah.
7Desceu de Janoa para Atarote e para Naara, chegou a Jericó, e saiu no Jordão.
7And it went down from Janoah to Ataroth, and to Naarah, and reached unto Jericho, and went out at the Jordan.
8De Tapua a fronteira seguiu para o oeste até o ribeiro de Caná; e terminou no mar. Esta é a herança da tribo dos filhos de Efraim, segundo as suas famílias;
8From Tappuah the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families;
9juntamente com as cidades que foram separadas para os filhos de Efraim no meio da herança dos filhos de Manassés, todas as cidades com as suas aldeias.
9together with the cities which were separated for the children of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.
10Eles não expulsaram os cananeus que viviam em Gezer; mas os cananeus habitam no território de Efraim até o dia de hoje, e se tornaram servos sujeitos a trabalhos forçados.
10And they drove not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwelt in the midst of Ephraim, unto this day, and became servants to do taskwork.
