1Da traten herzu die obersten Väter unter den Leviten zu dem Priester Eleasar und Josua, dem Sohn Nuns, und zu den obersten Vätern unter den Stämmen der Kinder Israel
1Then came near the heads of fathers' houses of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of fathers' houses of the tribes of the children of Israel;
2und redeten mit ihnen zu Silo im Lande Kanaan und sprachen: Der HERR hat uns geboten durch Mose, daß man uns Städte geben solle, zu wohnen, und ihre Vorstädte zu unserm Vieh.
2and they spoke unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying: 'The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the open land thereabout for our cattle.'
3Da gaben die Kinder Israel den Leviten von ihren Erbteilen nach dem Befehl des HERRN diese Städte und ihre Vorstädte.
3And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the commandment of the LORD, these cities with the open land about them.
4Und das Los fiel auf die Geschlechter der Kahathiter, und wurden den Kindern Aarons, des Priesters, aus den Leviten durchs Los dreizehn Städte von dem Stamm Juda, von dem Stamm Simeon und von dem Stamm Benjamin.
4And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites; and the children of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.
5Den andern Kindern Kahaths aber wurden durchs Los zehn Städte von den Geschlechtern des Stammes Ephraim, von dem Stamme Dan und von dem halben Stamm Manasse.
5And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.
6Aber den Kindern Gersons wurden durchs Los dreizehn Städte von den Geschlechtern des Stammes Isaschar, von dem Stamm Asser und von dem Stamm Naphthali und von dem halben Stamm Manasse in Basan.
6And the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
7Den Kindern Meraris nach ihren Geschlechtern wurden zwölf Städte von dem Stamm Ruben, von dem Stamm Gad und von dem Stamm Sebulon.
7The children of Merari according to their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
8Also gaben die Kinder Israel den Leviten durchs Los diese Städte und Vorstädte, wie der HERR durch Mose geboten hatte.
8And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with the open land about them, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
9Von dem Stamm der Kinder Juda und von dem Stamm der Kinder Simeon gaben sie diese Städte, die sie mit ihren Namen nannten,
9And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are here mentioned by name.
10den Kindern Aarons, vom Geschlecht der Kahathiter, aus den Kindern Levi; denn das erste Los ward ihnen.
10And they were for the children of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi; for theirs was the first lot.
11So geben sie ihnen die Stadt des Arba, des Vaters Enaks, das ist Hebron auf dem Gebirge Juda und ihre Vorstädte um sie her.
11And they gave them Kiriath-arba, which Arba was the father of Anak — the same is Hebron — in the hill-country of Judah, with the open land round about it.
12Aber den Acker der Stadt und ihre Dörfer gaben sie Kaleb, dem Sohn Jephunnes, zu seinem Erbe.
12But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.
13Also gaben sie den Kindern Aarons, des Priesters, die Freistadt der Totschläger, Hebron, und seine Vorstädte, Libna und sein Vorstädte,
13And unto the children of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron with the open land about it, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Libnah with the open land about it;
14Jatthir und seine Vorstädte, Esthemoa und sein Vorstädte,
14and Jattir with the open land about it, and Eshtemoa with the open land about it;
15Holon und seine Vorstädte, Debir und seine Vorstädte,
15and Holon with the open land about it, and Debir with the open land about it;
16Ain und seine Vorstädte, Jutta und seine Vorstädte, Beth-Semes und seine Vorstädte, neun Städte von diesen zwei Stämmen;
16and Ain with the open land about it, and Juttah with the open land about it, and Beth-shemesh with the open land about it; nine cities out of those two tribes.
17von dem Stamm Benjamin aber gaben sie vier Städte: Gibeon und seine Vorstädte, Geba und seine Vorstädte,
17And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with the open land about it, Geba with the open land about it;
18Anathoth und seine Vorstädte, Almon und seine Vorstädte,
18Anathoth with the open land about it, and Almon with the open land about it; four cities.
19daß alle Städte der Kinder Aarons, der Priester, waren dreizehn mit ihren Vorstädten.
19All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with the open land about them.
20Den Geschlechtern aber der andern Kinder Kahath, den Leviten, wurden durch ihr Los vier Städte von dem Stamm Ephraim;
20And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites, even the rest of the children of Kohath, they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.
21sie gaben ihnen die Freistadt der Totschläger, Sichem und seine Vorstädte auf dem Gebirge Ephraim, Geser und seine Vorstädte,
21And they gave them Shechem with the open land about it in the hill-country of Ephraim, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Gezer with the open land about it;
22Kibzaim und seine Vorstädte, Beth-Horon und seine Vorstädte.
22and Kibzaim with the open land about it, and Beth-horon with the open land about it; four cities.
23Von dem Stamme Dan vier Städte: Eltheke und seine Vorstädte, Gibbethon und seine Vorstädte,
23And out of the tribe of Dan, Elteke with the open land about it, Gibbethon with the open land about it;
24Ajalon und seine Vorstädte, Gath-Rimmon und seine Vorstädte.
24Aijalon with the open land about it, Gath-rimmon with the open land about it; four cities.
25Von dem halben Stamm Manasse zwei Städte: Thaanach und seine Vorstädte, Gath-Rimmon und seine Vorstädte,
25And out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with the open land about it, and Gath-rimmon with the open land about it; two cities.
26daß alle Städte der Geschlechter der andern Kinder Kahath waren zehn mit ihren Vorstädten.
26All the cities of the families of the rest of the children of Kohath were ten with the open land about them.
27Den Kindern aber Gerson aus den Geschlechtern der Leviten wurden gegeben von dem halben Stamm Manasse zwei Städte: die Freistadt für die Totschläger, Golan in Basan, und sein Vorstädte, Beesthra und seine Vorstädte.
27And unto the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half-tribe of Manasseh they gave Golan in Bashan with the open land about it, the city of refuge for the manslayer; and Beeshterah with the open land about it; two cities.
28Von dem Stamme Isaschar vier Städte: Kisjon und seine Vorstädte, Dabrath und seine Vorstädte,
28And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishion with the open land about it, Dobrath with the open land about it;
29Jarmuth und seine Vorstädte, En-Gannim und seine Vorstädte.
29Jarmuth with the open land about it, En-gannim with the open land about it; four cities.
30Von dem Stamm Asser vier Städte: Miseal und seine Vorstädte, Abdon und seine Vorstädte,
30And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with the open land about it, Abdon with the open land about it;
31Helkath und seine Vorstädte, Rehob und seine Vorstädte.
31Helkath with the open land about it, and Rehob with the open land about it; four cities.
32Von dem Stamm Naphthali drei Städte: die Freistadt für die Totschläger, Kedes in Galiläa, und seine Vorstädte, Hammoth-Dor und seine Vorstädte, Karthan und seine Vorstädte,
32And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with the open land about it, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Hammoth-dor with the open land about it, and Kartan with the open land about it; three cities.
33daß alle Städte des Geschlechts der Gersoniter waren dreizehn mit ihren Vorstädten.
33All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with the open land about them.
34Den Geschlechtern aber der Kinder Merari, den andern Leviten, wurden gegeben von dem Stamm Sebulon vier Städte: Jokneam und seine Vorstädte, Kartha und seine Vorstädte,
34And unto the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with the open land about it, and Kartah with the open land about it;
35Dimna und seine Vorstädte, Nahalal und seine Vorstädte.
35Dimnah with the open land about it, Nahalal with the open land about it; four cities.
36Von dem Stamm Ruben vier Städte: Bezer und seine Vorstädte, Jahza und seine Vorstädte,
36And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with the open land about it, and Jahaz with the open land about it;
37Kedemoth und seine Vorstädte, Mephaath und seine Vorstädte.
37Kedemoth with the open land about it, and Mephaath with the open land about it; four cities.
38Von dem Stamme Gad vier Städte: die Freistadt für die Totschläger, Ramoth in Gilead, und seine Vorstädte,
38And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with the open land about it, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Mahanaim with the open land about it;
39Mahanaim und seine Vorstädte, Hesbon und seine Vorstädte, Jaser und seine Vorstädte,
39Heshbon with the open land about it, Jazer with the open land about it; four cities in all.
40daß alle Städte der Kinder Merari nach ihren Geschlechtern, der andern Leviten, nach ihrem Los waren zwölf.
40All these were the cities of the children of Merari according to their families, even the rest of the families of the Levites; and their lot was twelve cities.
41Alle Städte der Leviten unter dem Erbe der Kinder Israel waren achtundvierzig mit ihren Vorstädten.
41All the cities of the Levites — forty and eight cities with the open land about them — shall be in the midst of the possession of the children of Israel,
42Und eine jegliche dieser Städte hatte ihre Vorstadt um sich her, eine wie die andere.
42even these cities, every one with the open land round about it; thus it shall be with all these cities.
43Also gab der HERR Israel alles Land, das er geschworen hatte ihren Vätern zu geben, und sie nahmen es ein und wohnten darin.
43So the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which He swore to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
44Und der HERR gab ihnen Ruhe von allen umher, wie er ihren Vätern geschworen hatte, und stand ihrer Feinde keiner wider sie, sondern alle ihre Feinde gab er in ihre Hände.
44And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that He swore unto their fathers; and there stood not a man of all their enemies against them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45Und es fehlte nichts an allem Guten, das der HERR dem Hause Israel verheißen hatte. Es kam alles.
45There failed not aught of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.
