1สุดท้ายนี้ พี่น้องของข้าพเจ้า จงชื่นชมยินดีในองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า! การเขียนเรื่องเดียวกันซ้ำถึงพวกคุณไม่ใช่ภาระสำหรับข้าพเจ้า และช่วยให้พวกคุณปลอดภัย
1Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.
2จงระวังพวกสุนัข ระวังคนทำชั่ว และระวังพวกเข้าสุหนัตจอมปลอม
2Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
3เพราะพวกเราต่างหากคือผู้เข้าสุหนัต เรานมัสการพระเจ้าด้วยพระวิญญาณ ชื่นชมยินดีในพระคริสต์เยซู และไม่วางใจในเนื้อหนัง
3For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
4แม้ข้าพเจ้าเองก็มีเหตุจะวางใจในเนื้อหนังได้ ถ้าใครคิดว่าตนมีเหตุวางใจในเนื้อหนัง ข้าพเจ้ายิ่งมีมากกว่า
4Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
5ข้าพเจ้าเข้าสุหนัตเมื่ออายุแปดวัน เป็นเชื้อสายอิสราเอล จากเผ่าเบนยามิน เป็นฮีบรูแท้จากชาวฮีบรู ในเรื่องธรรมบัญญัติ ข้าพเจ้าเป็นฟาริสี
5Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;
6ในเรื่องความกระตือรือร้น ข้าพเจ้าข่มเหงประชาคม ในเรื่องความชอบธรรมตามธรรมบัญญัติ ข้าพเจ้าไม่มีที่ติ
6Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
7แต่สิ่งที่เคยเป็นกำไรสำหรับข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้ากลับนับสิ่งเหล่านั้นเป็นขาดทุนเพราะพระคริสต์
7But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8ยิ่งกว่านั้น ข้าพเจ้านับทุกสิ่งเป็นขาดทุน เพราะการรู้จักพระคริสต์เยซูองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของข้าพเจ้ามีคุณค่าสูงส่งยิ่งกว่า ข้าพเจ้าสูญเสียทุกสิ่งเพราะพระองค์ และนับสิ่งเหล่านั้นเป็นเพียงขยะ เพื่อจะได้พระคริสต์มาเป็นกำไร
8Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9และเมื่อพบข้าพเจ้า ก็จะพบว่าข้าพเจ้าอยู่ในพระองค์ โดยไม่ได้มีความชอบธรรมของตนเองที่มาจากธรรมบัญญัติ แต่มีความชอบธรรมที่มาโดยความเชื่อในพระคริสต์ คือความชอบธรรมจากพระเจ้าที่มาโดยความเชื่อ
9And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10เพื่อข้าพเจ้าจะรู้จักพระองค์ รู้จักพลังแห่งการฟื้นขึ้นจากความตายของพระองค์ และมีส่วนร่วมในความทุกข์ของพระองค์ โดยถูกทำให้มีสภาพตามแบบความตายของพระองค์
10That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11เผื่อว่าข้าพเจ้าจะได้บรรลุถึงการฟื้นขึ้นจากความตายด้วยทางใดทางหนึ่ง
11If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
12ไม่ใช่ว่าข้าพเจ้าได้รับสิ่งนั้นแล้ว หรือสมบูรณ์แล้ว แต่ข้าพเจ้ามุ่งหน้าต่อไป เพื่อจะคว้าสิ่งนั้นไว้ เพราะพระคริสต์เยซูได้คว้าข้าพเจ้าไว้เพื่อสิ่งนั้นแล้ว
12Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
13พี่น้อง ข้าพเจ้ายังไม่ถือว่าตนเองคว้าสิ่งนั้นไว้ได้แล้ว แต่ข้าพเจ้าทำสิ่งเดียว คือลืมสิ่งที่อยู่ข้างหลัง และเหยียดตัวไปหาสิ่งที่อยู่ข้างหน้า
13Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do , forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14ข้าพเจ้ามุ่งหน้าไปยังหลักชัย เพื่อรับรางวัลแห่งการเรียกจากเบื้องบนของพระเจ้า ในพระคริสต์เยซู
14I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15ดังนั้น พวกเราทุกคนที่สมบูรณ์แล้ว จงคิดเช่นนี้ และถ้าพวกคุณคิดต่างออกไปในเรื่องใด พระเจ้าก็จะเปิดเผยเรื่องนั้นแก่พวกคุณด้วย
15Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
16อย่างไรก็ตาม เรามาถึงระดับใดแล้ว ก็จงดำเนินตามหลักเดียวกัน และมีความคิดอย่างเดียวกัน
16Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
17พี่น้อง จงร่วมกันเอาอย่างข้าพเจ้า และสังเกตคนที่ดำเนินชีวิตตามแบบนี้ เพราะพวกคุณมีเราเป็นแบบอย่าง
17Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
18มีหลายคนดำเนินชีวิตเป็นศัตรูของกางเขนของพระคริสต์ ข้าพเจ้าเคยบอกพวกคุณเรื่องพวกเขาบ่อย ๆ และบัดนี้ก็บอกอีกทั้งน้ำตา
18(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19จุดจบของพวกเขาคือความพินาศ พระเจ้าของพวกเขาคือท้อง พวกเขาอวดสิ่งที่น่าอับอาย และคิดถึงเรื่องทางโลก
19Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
20แต่เราเป็นพลเมืองของสวรรค์ และจากสวรรค์นั้น เราเฝ้ารอพระผู้ช่วยให้รอด คือพระเยซูคริสต์องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า
20For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21พระองค์จะเปลี่ยนร่างกายที่ต่ำต้อยของเรา ให้มีสภาพตามแบบร่างกายที่มีพระสิริของพระองค์ ด้วยพลังที่ทำให้พระองค์สามารถทำให้ทุกสิ่งอยู่ใต้อำนาจของพระองค์
21Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
