1Ятэ картя нямурилор луй Адам. Ын зиуа кынд а фэкут Думнезеу пе ом, л-а фэкут дупэ асемэнаря луй Думнезеу.
1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2Й-а фэкут парте бэрбэтяскэ ши парте фемеяскэ, й-а бинекувынтат ши ле-а дат нумеле де „ом” ын зиуа кынд ау фост фэкуць.
2Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3Ла вырста де о сутэ трейзечь де ань, Адам а нэскут ун фиу дупэ кипул ши асемэнаря луй ши й-а пус нумеле Сет.
3¶ And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
4Дупэ наштеря луй Сет, Адам а трэит опт суте де ань ши а нэскут фий ши фийче.
4And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
5Тоате зилеле пе каре ле-а трэит Адам ау фост де ноуэ суте трейзечь де ань, апой а мурит.
5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
6Ла вырста де о сутэ чинч ань, Сет а нэскут пе Енос.
6And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
7Дупэ наштеря луй Енос, Сет а май трэит опт суте шапте ань ши а нэскут фий ши фийче.
7And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:
8Тоате зилеле луй Сет ау фост де ноуэ суте дойспрезече ань, апой а мурит.
8And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.
9Ла вырста де ноуэзечь де ань, Енос а нэскут пе Каинан.
9¶ And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:
10Дупэ наштеря луй Каинан, Енос а май трэит опт суте чинчспрезече ань ши а нэскут фий ши фийче.
10And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:

11And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.
12Ла вырста де шаптезечь де ань, Каинан а нэскут пе Махалалеел.
12¶ And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:
13Дупэ наштеря луй Махалалеел, Каинан а май трэит опт суте патрузечь де ань ши а нэскут фий ши фийче.
13And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:
14Тоате зилеле луй Каинан ау фост де ноуэ суте зече ань, апой а мурит.
14And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.
15Ла вырста де шайзечь ши чинч де ань, Махалалеел а нэскут пе Иаред.
15¶ And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:
16Дупэ наштеря луй Иаред, Махалалеел а май трэит опт суте трейзечь де ань ши а нэскут фий ши фийче.
16And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:
17Тоате зилеле луй Махалалеел ау фост де опт суте ноуэзечь ши чинч де ань, апой а мурит.
17And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.
18Ла вырста де о сутэ шайзечь ши дой де ань, Иаред а нэскут пе Енох.
18¶ And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:
19Дупэ наштеря луй Енох, Иаред а май трэит опт суте де ань ши а нэскут фий ши фийче.
19And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
20Тоате зилеле луй Иаред ау фост де ноуэ суте шайзечь ши дой де ань, апой а мурит.
20And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
21Ла вырста де шайзечь ши чинч де ань, Енох а нэскут пе Метусала.
21¶ And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
22Дупэ наштеря луй Метусала, Енох а умблат ку Думнезеу трей суте де ань ши а нэскут фий ши фийче.
22And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
23Тоате зилеле луй Енох ау фост трей суте шайзечь ши чинч де ань.
23And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
24Енох а умблат ку Думнезеу, апой ну с-а май вэзут, пентру кэ л-а луат Думнезеу.
24And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
25Ла вырста де о сутэ оптзечь ши шапте де ань, Метусала а нэскут пе Ламех.
25And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
26Дупэ наштеря луй Ламех, Метусала а май трэит шапте суте оптзечь ши дой де ань ши а нэскут фий ши фийче.
26And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
27Тоате зилеле луй Метусала ау фост де ноуэ суте шайзечь ши ноуэ де ань, апой а мурит.
27And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
28Ла вырста де о сутэ оптзечь ши дой де ань, Ламех а нэскут ун фиу.
28¶ And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
29Ел й-а пус нумеле Ное, зикынд: „Ачеста не ва мынгыя пентру остеняла ши труда мынилор ноастре, каре вин дин ачест пэмынт, пе каре л-а блестемат Домнул.”
29And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
30Дупэ наштеря луй Ное, Ламех а май трэит чинч суте ноуэзечь ши чинч де ань ши а нэскут фий ши фийче.
30And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
31Тоате зилеле луй Ламех ау фост де шапте суте шаптезечь ши шапте де ань, апой а мурит.
31And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
32Ное, ла вырста де чинч суте де ань, а нэскут пе Сем, Хам ши Иафет.
32And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
