1Este é o livro das gerações de Adão. No dia em que Deus criou o homem, ele o fez à semelhança de Deus.
1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2Ele os criou homem e mulher, e os abençoou. No dia em que foram criados, ele os chamou de Adão.
2Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3Adão viveu cento e trinta anos, e gerou um filho à sua própria semelhança, conforme a sua imagem, e o chamou de Sete.
3¶ And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
4Os dias de Adão, depois que gerou a Sete, foram oitocentos anos, e ele gerou outros filhos e filhas.
4And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
5Todos os dias que Adão viveu foram novecentos e trinta anos, e então ele morreu.
5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
6Sete viveu cento e cinco anos, e então gerou a Enos.
6And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
7Sete viveu, depois que gerou a Enos, oitocentos e sete anos, e gerou outros filhos e filhas.
7And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:
8Todos os dias de Sete foram novecentos e doze anos, e então ele morreu.
8And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.
9Enos viveu noventa anos, e gerou a Cainã.
9¶ And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:
10Enos viveu, depois que gerou a Cainã, oitocentos e quinze anos, e gerou outros filhos e filhas.
10And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:
11Todos os dias de Enos foram novecentos e cinco anos, e então ele morreu.
11And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.
12Cainã viveu setenta anos, e então gerou a Maalalel.
12¶ And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:
13Cainã viveu, depois que gerou a Maalalel, oitocentos e quarenta anos, e gerou outros filhos e filhas
13And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:
14e todos os dias de Cainã foram novecentos e dez anos, e então ele morreu.
14And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.
15Maalalel viveu sessenta e cinco anos, e então gerou a Jarede.
15¶ And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:
16Maalalel viveu, depois que gerou a Jarede, oitocentos e trinta anos, e gerou outros filhos e filhas.
16And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:
17Todos os dias de Maalalel foram oitocentos e noventa e cinco anos, e então ele morreu.
17And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.
18Jarede viveu cento e sessenta e dois anos, e então gerou a Enoque.
18¶ And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:
19Jarede viveu, depois que gerou a Enoque, oitocentos anos, e gerou outros filhos e filhas.
19And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
20Todos os dias de Jarede foram novecentos e sessenta e dois anos, e então ele morreu.
20And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
21Enoque viveu sessenta e cinco anos, e então gerou a Matusalém.
21¶ And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
22Depois do nascimento de Matusalém, Enoque andou com Deus por trezentos anos, e gerou mais filhos e filhas.
22And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
23Todos os dias de Enoque foram trezentos e sessenta e cinco anos.
23And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
24Enoque andou com Deus, e ele não foi encontrado, pois Deus o levou.
24And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
25Matusalém viveu cento e oitenta e sete anos, e então gerou a Lameque.
25And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
26Matusalém viveu, depois que gerou a Lameque, setecentos e oitenta e dois anos, e gerou outros filhos e filhas.
26And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
27Todos os dias de Matusalém foram novecentos e sessenta e nove anos, e então ele morreu.
27And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
28Lameque viveu cento e oitenta e dois anos, e então gerou um filho.
28¶ And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
29Ele o chamou de Noé, dizendo: “Este nos consolará em nosso trabalho e na fadiga de nossas mãos, causados pela terra que o SENHOR amaldiçoou.”
29And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
30Lameque viveu, depois que gerou a Noé, quinhentos e noventa e cinco anos, e gerou outros filhos e filhas.
30And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
31Todos os dias de Lameque foram setecentos e setenta e sete anos, e então ele morreu.
31And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
32Noé tinha quinhentos anos de idade, e então Noé gerou a Sem, Cam e Jafé.
32And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
