1Bel boweth down, Nebo stoopeth, their idols were upon the beasts, and upon the cattle: your carriages were heavy loaden; they are a burden to the weary beast .
1เบลก้มลง เนโบทรุดลง รูปเคารพของพวกเขาถูกบรรทุกไปกับสัตว์ อยู่บนหลังปศุสัตว์ สิ่งที่พวกเจ้าเคยแบกไปมา กลายเป็นสัมภาระหนัก เป็นภาระแก่สัตว์ที่เหนื่อยล้า
2They stoop, they bow down together; they could not deliver the burden, but themselves are gone into captivity.
2พวกมันทรุดลงและก้มลงด้วยกัน ช่วยปลดเปลื้องภาระไม่ได้ ตัวพวกมันเองกลับถูกจับไปเป็นเชลย
3¶ Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by me from the belly, which are carried from the womb:
3“เชื้อสายยาโคบ จงฟังเรา รวมถึงผู้ที่เหลืออยู่ทั้งหมดของเชื้อสายอิสราเอล พวกเจ้าที่เราอุ้มมาตั้งแต่เกิด ที่เราอุ้มมาตั้งแต่อยู่ในครรภ์
4And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you .
4แม้จนพวกเจ้าแก่ชรา เราก็ยังคงเป็นผู้นั้น แม้จนผมหงอก เราก็จะอุ้มพวกเจ้า เราสร้างแล้ว เราจะรับไว้ เราจะอุ้มและช่วยให้รอด
5¶ To whom will ye liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like?
5“พวกเจ้าจะเปรียบเรากับใคร ยกใครให้เสมอเรา และเทียบเรากับใคร ราวกับเรากับเขาเหมือนกัน?
6They lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance, and hire a goldsmith; and he maketh it a god: they fall down, yea, they worship.
6บางคนเททองออกจากถุง และชั่งเงินบนตาชั่ง พวกเขาจ้างช่างทอง และช่างทองทำมันเป็นเทพเจ้า แล้วพวกเขาก็หมอบลง กราบไหว้มัน
7They bear him upon the shoulder, they carry him, and set him in his place, and he standeth; from his place shall he not remove: yea, one shall cry unto him, yet can he not answer, nor save him out of his trouble.
7พวกเขาแบกมันบนบ่า อุ้มไปตั้งไว้ แล้วมันก็ยืนอยู่ตรงนั้น เคลื่อนไปจากที่ตั้งไม่ได้ แม้ใครร้องเรียก มันก็ตอบไม่ได้ ช่วยเขาให้พ้นจากความทุกข์ไม่ได้
8Remember this, and shew yourselves men: bring it again to mind, O ye transgressors.
8“จงจำเรื่องนี้ไว้ และแสดงความกล้าหาญ ผู้ละเมิดทั้งหลาย จงนำเรื่องนี้กลับมาคิด
9Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
9จงระลึกถึงสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นแต่โบราณ เพราะเราคือพระเจ้า ไม่มีผู้อื่นอีก เราคือพระเจ้า ไม่มีใครเหมือนเรา
10Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
10เราประกาศจุดจบไว้ตั้งแต่เริ่มต้น และประกาศสิ่งที่ยังไม่ได้เกิดขึ้นไว้ตั้งแต่โบราณ เรากล่าวว่า แผนของเราจะคงอยู่ และเราจะทำทุกสิ่งที่เราพอใจ
11Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it , I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it , I will also do it.
11เราเรียกนกล่าเหยื่อมาจากตะวันออก เรียกคนที่จะทำตามแผนของเรามาจากแดนไกล เราพูดไว้แล้ว เราจะทำให้เกิดขึ้นด้วย เราวางแผนไว้แล้ว เราจะลงมือทำด้วย
12¶ Hearken unto me, ye stouthearted, that are far from righteousness:
12พวกเจ้าที่ใจดื้อดึง จงฟังเรา พวกเจ้าที่อยู่ห่างจากความเที่ยงธรรม!
13I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.
13เรานำความเที่ยงธรรมของเราเข้ามาใกล้ มันไม่ได้อยู่ไกล และความรอดของเราจะไม่รอช้า เราจะให้ความรอดแก่ศิโยน และให้ความรุ่งโรจน์ของเราแก่อิสราเอล
