1Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said:
1Shuhi Bildad loh a doo tih,
2How long will ye lay snares for words? Consider, and afterwards we will speak.
2“Olthui kah taikhaihnah te me hil nim na khueh ve. Yakming lamtah a hnukah thui sih.
3Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed dull in your sight?
3Balae tih rhamsa bangla nan poek, na mikhmuh ah ka angvawk a?
4Thou that tearest thyself in thine anger, shall the earth be forsaken for thee? Or shall the rock be removed out of its place?

6The light shall be dark in his tent, and his lamp over him shall be put out.

9A gin shall take him by the heel, and a snare shall lay hold on him.
9A khodil te pael loh a tuuk tih amah te kokthah dongah man.
10A noose is hid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.

12His trouble shall be ravenous, and calamity shall be ready for his fall.
12A boethae ah bungpong la om tih a cungdonah hamla rhainah khaw a sikim pah.
13It shall devour the members of his body, yea, the first-born of death shall devour his members.
13Dueknah caming loh a vin saa a caak pah tih a rhuhrhong a hnom pah.

20They that come after shall be astonished at his day, as they that went before are affrighted.

21Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.
