1And Job again took up his parable, and said:
1Job loh amah kah a huel ham te a koei tih,
2As God liveth, who hath taken away my right; and the Almighty, who hath dealt bitterly with me;
2“Pathen kah hingnah loh kai kah laitloeknah a khoe tih Tlungthang lo ka hinglu a phaep.
3All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils,
3Ka khuikah ka hiil boeih neh ka hnarhong khuikah he Pathen mueihla ni.
4Surely my lips shall not speak unrighteousness, neither shall my tongue utter deceit;
4Ka hmuilai loh dumlai thui boel saeh lamtah ka lai loh palyal la caitawk boel saeh.
5Far be it from me that I should justify you; till I die I will not put away mine integrity from me.
5Nangmih te kan tang sak atah kai ham savisava. Ka pal duela ka muelhtuetnah he kamah lamloh ka khoe mahpawh.
6My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go; my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.
6Ka duengnah te ka kop vetih ka hlah mahpawh. Kamah tue lamlong tah ka thinko he veet voel mahpawh.
7Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and let him that riseth up against me be as the unrighteous.
7Ka thunkha te a halang bangla, kai aka tlai thil khaw a boethae bangla om saeh.
8For what is the hope of the godless, though he get him gain, when God taketh away his soul?
8Lailak kah ngaiuepnah tah menim? A mueluem tih Pathen loh a hinglu a bong pah.
9Will God hear his cry, when trouble cometh upon him?
9A soah citcai loh a pai vaengah a pangngawlnah te Pathen loh a hnatun nim?
10Will he have his delight in the Almighty, and call upon God at all times?
10Tlungthang dongah pang a dok vetih, a tue boeih ah Pathen a khue bitni.
11I will teach you concerning the hand of God; that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.
11Pathen kah kut te nangmih kan thuinuet phoe vetih, Tlungthang taengkah te ka phah mahpawh.
12Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye become altogether vain?
12Nangmih boeih khaw na hmuh vaengah balae tih a honghi neh na hoemdawk he.
13This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty.
13Halang hlang loh Pathen taeng lamkah khoyo neh hlanghaeng loh Tlungthang taeng lamkah rho a dang he,
14If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword; and his offspring shall not have bread enough.
14a ca te cunghang hamla a ping pah tih a cadil cahma khaw buh cung uh mahpawh.
15Those that remain of him shall be buried by pestilence, and his widows shall make no lamentation.
15A rhaengnaeng, a rhaengnaeng te dueknah loh a up vetih a nuhmai rhoek loh rhah uh mahpawh.
16Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;
16Cak te laipi bangla hmoeng vetih hnicu te dikpo bangla soe ni.
17He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.
17Tawn cakhaw aka dueng loh a bai vetih cak te ommongsitoe loh a tael ni.
18He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth which the keeper maketh.
18A im te ning bangla a sak tih dungtlungim bangla rhalrhing a khueh.
19He lieth down rich, but there shall be not to gather; he openeth his eyes, and his wealth is not.
19Hlanglen la yalh dae khoem uh mahpawh. A mik a dai dae amah om voel pawh.
20Terrors overtake him like waters; a tempest stealeth him away in the night.
20Anih te tui bangla mueirhih loh a phatawt khoyin ah cangpalam loh a pom.
21The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth; and it sweepeth him out of his place.
21Anih te kanghawn loh a khuen tih khum. Te vaengah anih te amah hmuen lamloh a yawn.
22Yea, it hurleth at him, and spareth not; he would fain flee from its power.
22Anih te a voeih tih lungma a ti pawt dongah a kut lamloh yong la yong coeng.
23Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
23A taengah a kut a paeng uh tih anih te amah hmuen lamloh kut a ving thil.
