1私は山々に目を上げる。 私の助けはどこから来るのか。
1I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2私の助けは主から来る。 天と地を造られた方から。
2My help cometh from the LORD , which made heaven and earth.
3主はあなたの足を揺らがせず、 あなたを守る方はまどろむことがない。
3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4見よ、イスラエルを守る方は、 まどろむことも眠ることもない。
4Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5主はあなたを守る方。 主はあなたの右手にある陰。
5The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6昼は太陽もあなたを打たず、 夜は月もあなたを打たない。
6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7主はすべての悪からあなたを守り、 あなたの魂を守られる。
7The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8主はあなたの出るのも入るのも守られる。 今より、とこしえまでも。
8The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
