1“‘พวกเจ้าห้ามสร้างรูปเคารพสำหรับตน ห้ามตั้งรูปแกะสลักหรือเสาหิน และห้ามตั้งศิลาสลักลวดลายไว้ในแผ่นดินของพวกเจ้าเพื่อกราบไหว้ เพราะเราคือพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกเจ้า
1Ye shall make you no idols, neither shall ye rear you up a graven image, or a pillar, neither shall ye place any figured stone in your land, to bow down unto it; for I am the LORD your God.
2“‘พวกเจ้าต้องรักษาวันสะบาโตของเรา และเคารพยำเกรงสถานศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของเรา เราคือพระยาห์เวห์
2Ye shall keep My sabbaths, and reverence My sanctuary: I am the LORD.
3“‘ถ้าพวกเจ้าดำเนินตามกฎเกณฑ์ของเรา รักษาพระบัญญัติของเราและปฏิบัติตาม
3If ye walk in My statutes, and keep My commandments, and do them;
4เราจะให้ฝนตกตามฤดูกาล แผ่นดินจะให้ผลผลิต และต้นไม้ในทุ่งจะออกผล
4then I will give your rains in their season, and the land shall yield her produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
5ฤดูนวดข้าวของพวกเจ้าจะต่อเนื่องไปจนถึงฤดูเก็บองุ่น และฤดูเก็บองุ่นจะต่อเนื่องไปจนถึงฤดูหว่านเมล็ด พวกเจ้าจะมีอาหารกินจนอิ่ม และอาศัยอยู่ในแผ่นดินอย่างปลอดภัย
5And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time; and ye shall eat your bread until ye have enough, and dwell in your land safely.
6“‘เราจะให้มีสันติสุขในแผ่นดิน พวกเจ้าจะนอนลงโดยไม่มีใครทำให้หวาดกลัว เราจะกำจัดสัตว์ร้ายออกจากแผ่นดิน และจะไม่มีดาบผ่านเข้ามาในแผ่นดินของพวกเจ้า
6And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid; and I will cause evil beasts to cease out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
7พวกเจ้าจะไล่ตามศัตรู และพวกเขาจะล้มลงต่อหน้าพวกเจ้าด้วยคมดาบ
7And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
8พวกเจ้าห้าคนจะไล่ตามหนึ่งร้อยคน และหนึ่งร้อยคนจะไล่ตามหนึ่งหมื่นคน ศัตรูของพวกเจ้าจะล้มลงต่อหน้าพวกเจ้าด้วยคมดาบ
8And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase ten thousand; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
9“‘เราจะหันมาเอาใจใส่พวกเจ้า ทำให้พวกเจ้ามีลูกหลานมากมายและเพิ่มจำนวนขึ้น และเราจะทำให้พันธสัญญาของเรากับพวกเจ้ามั่นคง
9And I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you; and will establish My covenant with you.
10พวกเจ้าจะกินเสบียงเก่าที่เก็บไว้นาน และต้องขนของเก่าออกเพื่อให้มีที่สำหรับของใหม่
10And ye shall eat old store long kept, and ye shall bring forth the old from before the new.
11เราจะตั้งเต็นท์ของเราไว้ท่ามกลางพวกเจ้า และเราจะไม่รังเกียจพวกเจ้า
11And I will set My tabernacle among you, and My soul shall not abhor you.
12เราจะดำเนินอยู่ท่ามกลางพวกเจ้า เราจะเป็นพระเจ้าของพวกเจ้า และพวกเจ้าจะเป็นประชาชนของเรา
12And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be My people.
13เราคือพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกเจ้า ผู้ได้นำพวกเจ้าออกจากแผ่นดินอียิปต์เพื่อไม่ให้พวกเจ้าเป็นทาสของพวกเขา เราหักคานแอกของพวกเจ้าและทำให้พวกเจ้าเดินตัวตรงได้
13I am the LORD your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bars of your yoke, and made you go upright.
14“‘แต่ถ้าพวกเจ้าไม่ฟังเรา และไม่ปฏิบัติตามพระบัญญัติเหล่านี้ทั้งหมด
14But if ye will not hearken unto Me, and will not do all these commandments;
15ถ้าพวกเจ้าปฏิเสธกฎเกณฑ์ของเรา รังเกียจข้อกำหนดของเรา ไม่ยอมทำตามพระบัญญัติทั้งหมดของเรา และละเมิดพันธสัญญาของเรา
15and if ye shall reject My statutes, and if your soul abhor Mine ordinances, so that ye will not do all My commandments, but break My covenant;
16เราก็จะทำเช่นนี้กับพวกเจ้า เราจะให้ความหวาดผวาเกิดแก่พวกเจ้า ทั้งโรคผอมแห้งและไข้ซึ่งทำให้ดวงตาหม่นมัวและชีวิตอ่อนแรง พวกเจ้าจะหว่านเมล็ดไปโดยเปล่าประโยชน์ เพราะศัตรูจะกินผลผลิตของพวกเจ้า
16I also will do this unto you: I will appoint terror over you, even consumption and fever, that shall make the eyes to fail, and the soul to languish; and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
17เราจะต่อต้านพวกเจ้า และพวกเจ้าจะพ่ายแพ้ต่อหน้าศัตรู คนที่เกลียดพวกเจ้าจะปกครองพวกเจ้า และพวกเจ้าจะหนีทั้งที่ไม่มีใครไล่ตาม
17And I will set My face against you, and ye shall be smitten before your enemies; they that hate you shall rule over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.
18“‘ถ้าแม้เกิดสิ่งเหล่านี้แล้วพวกเจ้ายังไม่ฟังเรา เราจะลงโทษพวกเจ้าหนักขึ้นเจ็ดเท่าเพราะบาปของพวกเจ้า
18And if ye will not yet for these things hearken unto Me, then I will chastise you seven times more for your sins.
19เราจะทำลายความเย่อหยิ่งในกำลังของพวกเจ้า เราจะทำให้ท้องฟ้าเหนือพวกเจ้าแข็งเหมือนเหล็ก และพื้นดินแข็งเหมือนทองสัมฤทธิ์
19And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass.
20พละกำลังของพวกเจ้าจะสูญเปล่า เพราะแผ่นดินจะไม่ให้ผลผลิต และต้นไม้ในแผ่นดินจะไม่ออกผล
20And your strength shall be spent in vain; for your land shall not yield her produce, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruit.
21“‘ถ้าพวกเจ้ายังดำเนินสวนทางกับเราและไม่ยอมฟังเรา เราจะเพิ่มภัยพิบัติแก่พวกเจ้าอีกเจ็ดเท่าตามบาปของพวกเจ้า
21And if ye walk contrary unto Me, and will not hearken unto Me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
22เราจะส่งสัตว์ป่ามาท่ามกลางพวกเจ้า มันจะพรากลูกหลานของพวกเจ้า ทำลายสัตว์เลี้ยงของพวกเจ้า และทำให้พวกเจ้าลดจำนวนลง จนถนนหนทางของพวกเจ้าร้างเปล่า
22And I will send the beast of the field among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your ways shall become desolate.
23“‘ถ้าแม้เกิดสิ่งเหล่านี้แล้วพวกเจ้ายังไม่ยอมกลับมาหาเรา แต่ยังดำเนินสวนทางกับเรา
23And if in spite of these things ye will not be corrected unto Me, but will walk contrary unto Me;
24เราก็จะดำเนินสวนทางกับพวกเจ้าด้วย และเราจะลงโทษพวกเจ้าเพราะบาปของพวกเจ้าอีกเจ็ดเท่า
24then will I also walk contrary unto you; and I will smite you, even I, seven times for your sins.
25เราจะนำดาบแห่งการแก้แค้นตามพันธสัญญามาเหนือพวกเจ้า พวกเจ้าจะไปรวมกันอยู่ในเมืองต่าง ๆ แล้วเราจะส่งโรคระบาดเข้าไปท่ามกลางพวกเจ้า และพวกเจ้าจะถูกมอบไว้ในมือของศัตรู
25And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall execute the vengeance of the covenant; and ye shall be gathered together within your cities; and I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
26เมื่อเราตัดเสบียงอาหารที่พวกเจ้าพึ่งพา ผู้หญิงสิบคนจะอบขนมปังในเตาอบเพียงเตาเดียว และนำขนมปังมาแบ่งให้พวกเจ้าตามน้ำหนัก พวกเจ้าจะกินแต่ไม่อิ่ม
26When I break your staff of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver your bread again by weight; and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.
27“‘ถ้าแม้เป็นเช่นนี้แล้วพวกเจ้ายังไม่ฟังเรา แต่ยังดำเนินสวนทางกับเรา
27And if ye will not for all this hearken unto Me, but walk contrary unto Me;
28เราก็จะดำเนินสวนทางกับพวกเจ้าด้วยความโกรธ และเราจะลงโทษพวกเจ้าเพราะบาปของพวกเจ้าอีกเจ็ดเท่า
28then I will walk contrary unto you in fury; and I also will chastise you seven times for your sins.
29พวกเจ้าจะกินเนื้อของบุตรชายของตน และกินเนื้อของบุตรสาวของตน
29And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.
30เราจะทำลายสถานบูชาบนที่สูงของพวกเจ้า รื้อแท่นเผาเครื่องหอมของพวกเจ้า และโยนซากศพของพวกเจ้าทับซากรูปเคารพของพวกเจ้า เราจะรังเกียจพวกเจ้า
30And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your sun-pillars, and cast your carcasses upon the carcasses of your idols; and My soul shall abhor you.
31เราจะทำให้เมืองต่าง ๆ ของพวกเจ้าร้างเปล่า และทำให้สถานศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของพวกเจ้ากลายเป็นที่รกร้าง เราจะไม่พอใจกับกลิ่นหอมจากของถวายของพวกเจ้า
31And I will make your cities a waste, and will bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.
32เราจะทำให้แผ่นดินร้างเปล่า จนศัตรูของพวกเจ้าที่เข้ามาอาศัยอยู่ต่างตกตะลึง
32And I will bring the land into desolation; and your enemies that dwell therein shall be astonished at it.
33เราจะทำให้พวกเจ้ากระจัดกระจายไปท่ามกลางชนชาติต่าง ๆ และจะชักดาบไล่ตามพวกเจ้า แผ่นดินของพวกเจ้าจะร้างเปล่า และเมืองต่าง ๆ จะกลายเป็นซาก
33And you will I scatter among the nations, and I will draw out the sword after you; and your land shall be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.
34เมื่อนั้นแผ่นดินจะได้พักตามปีสะบาโตของมันตลอดเวลาที่ร้างเปล่า ขณะที่พวกเจ้าอยู่ในแผ่นดินของศัตรู เมื่อนั้นแผ่นดินจะได้หยุดพักตามปีสะบาโตของมัน
34Then shall the land be paid her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye are in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and repay her sabbaths.
35ตลอดเวลาที่แผ่นดินร้างเปล่า มันจะได้พักอย่างที่ไม่ได้พักในปีสะบาโตทั้งหลายเมื่อพวกเจ้าอาศัยอยู่ในแผ่นดินนั้น
35As long as it lieth desolate it shall have rest; even the rest which it had not in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.
36“‘ส่วนคนของพวกเจ้าที่ยังเหลืออยู่ เราจะทำให้ใจของพวกเขาหวาดหวั่นในแผ่นดินของศัตรู แม้แต่เสียงใบไม้ที่ลมพัดก็จะทำให้พวกเขาหนี พวกเขาจะหนีเหมือนหนีคมดาบ และจะล้มลงทั้งที่ไม่มีใครไล่ตาม
36And as for them that are left of you, I will send a faintness into their heart in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a driven leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as one fleeth from the sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.
37พวกเขาจะสะดุดล้มทับกันเหมือนกำลังหนีคมดาบ ทั้งที่ไม่มีใครไล่ตาม และพวกเจ้าจะไม่มีกำลังยืนหยัดต่อหน้าศัตรู
37And they shall stumble one upon another, as it were before the sword, when none pursueth; and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.
38พวกเจ้าจะพินาศท่ามกลางชนชาติต่าง ๆ และแผ่นดินของศัตรูจะกลืนกินพวกเจ้า
38And ye shall perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.
39คนของพวกเจ้าที่ยังเหลืออยู่จะค่อย ๆ สิ้นแรงเพราะความชั่วช้าของตนในแผ่นดินของศัตรู และจะค่อย ๆ สิ้นแรงเพราะความชั่วช้าของบรรพบุรุษของพวกเขาด้วย
39And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.
40“‘แต่ถ้าพวกเขาสารภาพความชั่วช้าของตนและความชั่วช้าของบรรพบุรุษ รวมทั้งการล่วงละเมิดที่พวกเขาได้ล่วงละเมิดต่อเรา และสารภาพว่าพวกเขาดำเนินสวนทางกับเรา
40And they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, in their treachery which they committed against Me, and also that they have walked contrary unto Me.
41และเราก็ดำเนินสวนทางกับพวกเขาและนำพวกเขาเข้าไปในแผ่นดินของศัตรู ถ้าในเวลานั้นจิตใจที่ไม่ได้เข้าสุหนัตของพวกเขาถ่อมลง และพวกเขายอมรับโทษเพราะความชั่วช้าของตน
41I also will walk contrary unto them, and bring them into the land of their enemies; if then perchance their uncircumcised heart be humbled, and they then be paid the punishment of their iniquity;
42เราก็จะระลึกถึงพันธสัญญาที่ทำไว้กับยาโคบ พันธสัญญาที่ทำไว้กับอิสอัค และพันธสัญญาที่ทำไว้กับอับราฮัม และเราจะระลึกถึงแผ่นดินนั้น
42then will I remember My covenant with Jacob, and also My covenant with Isaac, and also My covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.
43แผ่นดินจะถูกพวกเขาทิ้งไว้ และจะได้พักตามปีสะบาโตของมันขณะที่ร้างเปล่าโดยไม่มีพวกเขา ส่วนพวกเขาจะยอมรับโทษเพราะความชั่วช้าของตน เนื่องจากพวกเขาปฏิเสธข้อกำหนดของเราและรังเกียจกฎเกณฑ์ของเรา
43For the land shall lie forsaken without them, and shall be paid her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them; and they shall be paid the punishment of their iniquity; because, even because they rejected Mine ordinances, and their soul abhorred My statutes.
44ถึงกระนั้น เมื่อพวกเขาอยู่ในแผ่นดินของศัตรู เราจะไม่ปฏิเสธหรือรังเกียจพวกเขาจนทำลายพวกเขาให้หมดสิ้นและละเมิดพันธสัญญาของเรากับพวกเขา เพราะเราคือพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกเขา
44And yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break My covenant with them; for I am the LORD their God.
45เพื่อเห็นแก่พวกเขา เราจะระลึกถึงพันธสัญญาที่ทำไว้กับบรรพบุรุษ ซึ่งเรานำออกจากแผ่นดินอียิปต์ต่อหน้าชนชาติต่าง ๆ เพื่อเราจะเป็นพระเจ้าของพวกเขา เราคือพระยาห์เวห์’”
45But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.
46นี่คือกฎเกณฑ์ ข้อกำหนด และกฎหมายที่พระยาห์เวห์กำหนดไว้ระหว่างพระองค์กับชาวอิสราเอล ณ ภูเขาซีนาย โดยผ่านโมเสส
46These are the statutes and ordinances and laws, which the LORD made between Him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
