1“อย่าแพร่ข่าวเท็จ และอย่าร่วมมือกับคนชั่วเป็นพยานมุ่งร้าย
1Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
2“อย่าตามฝูงชนไปทำชั่ว และอย่าให้การในศาลเข้าข้างคนส่วนมากจนบิดเบือนความยุติธรรม
2¶ Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
3อย่าลำเอียงเข้าข้างคนยากจนในคดีของเขา
3¶ Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
4“ถ้าพบวัวหรือลาของศัตรูหลงทาง เจ้าต้องพากลับไปคืนเขาอย่างแน่นอน
4¶ If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.
5ถ้าเห็นลาของคนที่เกลียดเจ้าล้มอยู่ใต้ของที่บรรทุก อย่าปล่อยเขาไว้ เจ้าต้องช่วยเขาพยุงมันขึ้นอย่างแน่นอน
5If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.
6“อย่าบิดเบือนความยุติธรรมของคนยากจนในคดีของเขา
6Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.
7“จงอยู่ให้ห่างจากข้อกล่าวหาเท็จ และอย่าฆ่าคนบริสุทธิ์หรือคนชอบธรรม เพราะเราจะไม่ประกาศคนชั่วว่าไม่มีความผิด
7Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
8“อย่ารับสินบน เพราะสินบนทำให้คนที่มองเห็นกลับตาบอด และทำให้คำของคนชอบธรรมบิดเบือนไป
8¶ And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
9“อย่ากดขี่คนต่างถิ่น เพราะพวกเจ้ารู้ดีถึงหัวอกของคนต่างถิ่น เนื่องจากพวกเจ้าเคยเป็นคนต่างถิ่นในแผ่นดินอียิปต์
9¶ Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
10“เจ้าต้องหว่านพืชในแผ่นดินของเจ้าและเก็บผลผลิตเป็นเวลา 6 ปี
10And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:
11แต่ในปีที่ 7 จงปล่อยให้แผ่นดินพักและรกร้าง เพื่อคนยากจนในหมู่ประชาชนของเจ้าจะได้กิน และสิ่งที่พวกเขาเหลือไว้ก็ให้สัตว์ป่ากิน จงทำเช่นเดียวกันกับสวนองุ่นและสวนมะกอกของเจ้า
11But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
12“เจ้าต้องทำงาน 6 วัน แต่ในวันที่ 7 จงพัก เพื่อวัวและลาของเจ้าจะได้พัก ลูกของคนรับใช้และคนต่างถิ่นก็จะได้พักหายเหนื่อย
12Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.
13“จงระวังและทำทุกสิ่งที่เราบอกพวกเจ้า อย่าเอ่ยชื่อเทพเจ้าอื่น แม้แต่ชื่อของพวกมันก็อย่าให้ได้ยินจากปากพวกเจ้า
13And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
14“พวกเจ้าต้องจัดเทศกาลถวายแก่เรา 3 ครั้งต่อปี
14¶ Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.
15จงถือเทศกาลขนมปังไร้เชื้อ กินขนมปังไร้เชื้อ 7 วันตามที่เราสั่งไว้ ตามเวลาที่กำหนดในเดือนอาบีบ เพราะในเดือนนั้นพวกเจ้าออกจากอียิปต์ และอย่าให้ใครมาปรากฏต่อหน้าเรามือเปล่า
15Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
16จงถือเทศกาลเก็บเกี่ยว ซึ่งเป็นผลแรกจากงานที่พวกเจ้าหว่านลงในนา และเทศกาลรวบรวมผลผลิตตอนสิ้นปี เมื่อพวกเจ้าเก็บผลจากงานในไร่นา
16And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.
17ปีละ 3 ครั้ง ผู้ชายทุกคนของเจ้าต้องมาปรากฏต่อหน้าพระยาห์เวห์ผู้เป็นเจ้านาย
17Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD .
18“อย่าถวายเลือดจากเครื่องบูชาของเราพร้อมกับขนมปังที่มีเชื้อ และอย่าปล่อยไขมันจากเครื่องบูชาในเทศกาลของเราไว้ตลอดคืนจนถึงเช้า
18Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.
19จงนำส่วนแรกจากผลผลิตแรกของแผ่นดินของเจ้ามายังพระนิเวศของพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของเจ้า “อย่าต้มลูกแพะในน้ำนมแม่ของมัน
19The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.
20“ดูสิ เราจะส่งทูตไปข้างหน้าพวกเจ้า เพื่อคุ้มครองพวกเจ้าระหว่างทางและพาไปยังสถานที่ที่เราเตรียมไว้
20¶ Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
21จงใส่ใจเขาและฟังเสียงของเขา อย่าขัดขืนเขา เพราะเขาจะไม่ยกโทษการไม่เชื่อฟังของพวกเจ้า เนื่องจากชื่อของเราอยู่ในเขา
21Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
22แต่ถ้าพวกเจ้าฟังเสียงของเขาอย่างแท้จริงและทำทุกสิ่งที่เราพูด เราจะเป็นศัตรูกับศัตรูของพวกเจ้า และเป็นคู่ปรปักษ์กับคู่ปรปักษ์ของพวกเจ้า
22But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
23เพราะทูตของเราจะไปข้างหน้าพวกเจ้า และพาเข้าไปหาชาวอาโมไรต์ ชาวฮิตไทต์ ชาวเปริสไซต์ ชาวคานาอัน ชาวฮีไวต์ และชาวเยบุส แล้วเราจะทำลายพวกเขา
23For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
24อย่ากราบลงต่อเทพเจ้าของพวกเขา อย่ารับใช้เทพเหล่านั้นหรือทำตามธรรมเนียมของพวกเขา แต่จงโค่นเทพเจ้าเหล่านั้นลงให้หมดและทุบเสาหินของพวกเขาให้แตก
24Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
25พวกเจ้าต้องรับใช้พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกเจ้า พระองค์จะอวยพรอาหารและน้ำของพวกเจ้า และเราจะขจัดโรคภัยออกจากท่ามกลางพวกเจ้า
25And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
26ในแผ่นดินของพวกเจ้าจะไม่มีหญิงแท้งลูกหรือเป็นหมัน เราจะให้พวกเจ้ามีอายุครบตามจำนวนวัน
26¶ There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
27เราจะส่งความน่าสะพรึงกลัวของเราไปข้างหน้าพวกเจ้า ทำให้ชนทุกกลุ่มที่พวกเจ้าไปถึงสับสน และทำให้ศัตรูทั้งหมดหันหลังหนีจากพวกเจ้า
27I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.
28เราจะส่งแตนไปข้างหน้าพวกเจ้า เพื่อขับชาวฮีไวต์ ชาวคานาอัน และชาวฮิตไทต์ออกไปให้พ้นหน้าพวกเจ้า
28And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
29เราจะไม่ขับพวกเขาออกไปให้หมดภายในปีเดียว มิฉะนั้นแผ่นดินจะรกร้างและสัตว์ป่าจะเพิ่มจำนวนขึ้นจนเป็นภัยต่อพวกเจ้า
29I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.
30เราจะค่อย ๆ ขับพวกเขาออกไปทีละน้อย จนพวกเจ้าเพิ่มจำนวนมากขึ้นและรับแผ่นดินนั้นเป็นมรดก
30By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
31เราจะกำหนดเขตแดนของพวกเจ้าตั้งแต่ทะเลแดงไปจนถึงทะเลของชาวฟีลิสเตีย และจากถิ่นทุรกันดารไปจนถึงแม่น้ำ เพราะเราจะมอบชาวแผ่นดินนั้นไว้ในมือพวกเจ้า และพวกเจ้าจะขับพวกเขาออกไปให้พ้นหน้า
31And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
32อย่าทำพันธสัญญากับพวกเขาหรือกับเทพเจ้าของพวกเขา
32Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
33อย่าให้พวกเขาอาศัยอยู่ในแผ่นดินของพวกเจ้า มิฉะนั้นพวกเขาจะทำให้พวกเจ้าทำบาปต่อเรา เพราะถ้าพวกเจ้ารับใช้เทพเจ้าของพวกเขา เรื่องนั้นจะกลายเป็นบ่วงดักสำหรับพวกเจ้าอย่างแน่นอน”
33They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.
