1Йов а луат кувынтул ши а зис:

1Then Job answered:

2„Кыт де бине штий ту сэ вий ын ажуторул слэбичуний! Кум дай ту ажутор брацулуй фэрэ путере!

2“How you have helped the powerless and saved the arm that is feeble!

3Че буне сфатурь дай ту челуй фэрэ причепере! Че белшуг де ынцелепчуне дай ту ла ивялэ!

3How you have counseled the unwise and provided fully sound insight!

4Кэтре чине се ындряптэ кувинтеле тале? Ши ал куй дух ворбеште прин тине?

4To whom have you uttered these words? And whose spirit spoke through you?

5Ынаинтя луй Думнезеу тремурэ умбреле суб апе ши суб локуиторий лор.

5The dead tremble— those beneath the waters and those who dwell in them.

6Ынаинтя Луй, Локуинца морцилор есте гоалэ, адынкул н-аре акопериш.

6Sheol is naked before God, and Abaddon has no covering.

7Ел ынтинде мязэноаптя асупра голулуй ши спынзурэ Пэмынтул пе нимик.

7He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth upon nothing.

8Лягэ апеле ын норий Сэй ши норий ну се спарг суб греутатя лор.

8He wraps up the waters in His clouds, yet the clouds do not burst under their own weight.

9Акоперэ фаца скаунулуй Сэу де домние ши Ышь ынтинде норул песте ел.

9He covers the face of the full moon, spreading over it His cloud.

10А трас о болтэ пе фаца апелор, ка хотар ынтре луминэ ши ынтунерик.

10He has inscribed a horizon on the face of the waters at the boundary between light and darkness.

11Стылпий черулуй се клатинэ ши се ынспэймынтэ ла аменинцаря Луй.

11The foundations of heaven quake, astounded at His rebuke.

12Прин путеря Луй тулбурэ маря, прин причеперя Луй ый сфэрымэ фурия.

12By His power He stirred the sea; by His understanding He shattered Rahab.

13Суфларя Луй ынсенинязэ черул, мына Луй стрэпунӂе шарпеле фугар.

13By His breath the skies were cleared; His hand pierced the fleeing serpent.

14Ши ачестя сунт доар марӂиниле кэилор Сале, ши нумай адиеря лор ушоарэ ажунӂе пынэ ла ной! Дар тунетул лукрэрилор Луй путерниче чине-л ва аузи?”

14Indeed, these are but the fringes of His ways; how faint is the whisper we hear of Him! Who then can understand the thunder of His power?”
