Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
Berean Standard Bible
1Ime kitail pan muei jan tapin padak en Krijtuj, ap kakairi da o unjokela, a kaidin pur on wia pajon ni at kalukila wiawia en mela kan, de pojon Kot,
1Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith in God,
2De padak duen paptaij, o pokada pa kan poa, o duen en me melar akan ar pan maureda, o duen kadeik joutuk.
2instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
3A i me kitail pan wiada, ma Kot pan kotin mueid on.
3And this we will do, if God permits.
4Pwe a jo kak pa ’rail, me marainlar, o me wewekier kijakij jan lan, o audaudkier Nen jaraui,
4It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit,
5O lolekon kilar majan en Kot mau, o manaman en muei mau kokodo,
5who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age—
6Ma irail pan pup wei jan, re jolar pan kak pur on kalula, pwe irail pein kalopuela Japwilim en Kot o kanamenokalar i.
6and then have fallen away—to be restored to repentance, because they themselves are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting Him to open shame.
7Pwe jap me lamelamur ki katau, me kin purepure moredi on, o me kawojadan irail, me kin wia japajap kapwa mau, iei jap o me kin ale pai ren Kot.
7For land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is tended receives the blessing of God.
8A ma a kin kawojada tuka teketek o dip, iei me jued o mau on kariala o ni imwi a pan karon ala.
8But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless, and its curse is imminent. In the end it will be burned.
9A kompoke pat akan, jo aja, me komail jota kin duota ni meakan me kareda maur, ari jo, iduen at kin padapadak.
9Even though we speak like this, beloved, we are convinced of better things in your case—things that accompany salvation.
10Pwe Kot jota japun, o a jota kak maliela omail wiawia kan o omail dodok limpok, me komail kajanjale on mar a ni omail papaer me jaraui kan, o ni omail kin papa.
10For God is not unjust. He will not forget your work and the love you have shown for His name as you have ministered to the saints and continue to do so.
11A kit kin inon ion, amen amen komail en nantion duedueta kajanjaleda kaporopor melel lao lel imwi.
11We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure.
12Pwe komail der tananala, a komail alale jan irail, me pojon o kanonama ap jojoki inau kan.
12Then you will not be sluggish, but will imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
13Pwe ni en Kot a kotin inauki on Apraam, a kotin kaukila pein i, pwe jota me lap jan en kau kila,
13When God made His promise to Abraham, since He had no one greater to swear by, He swore by Himself,
14Majani: Melel I pan kapai uk ala o kaneder uk ala.
14saying, “I will surely bless you and multiply your descendants.”
15I ari auiauieta ni kanonama ap pwaida inau o.
15And so Abraham, after waiting patiently, obtained the promise.
16Pwe aramaj akan kin kaukila me lapa jan ir, o kaula kin kaimwijokala akamai karoj.
16Men swear by someone greater than themselves, and their oath serves as a confirmation to end all argument.
17I me Kot pil kotin kaukila, pwen kajale on irail, me pan jojoki pai en a inau o, me a inau jota kak wukila.
17So when God wanted to make the unchanging nature of His purpose very clear to the heirs of the promise, He guaranteed it with an oath.
18Pwe jon riau me jo kak wuk, pwe Kot jota kak likam, en kamait kit ala melel, pwe kitail en tan won kaporopor, me mi mo atail.
18Thus by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be strongly encouraged.
19Kaporopor wet me raj on paipon en nen atail, me melel o ten, me kak lel won nan pera jaraui.
19We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain,
20lel waja atail jaunkair kotila ia pweki kitail, Iejuj, me wiala jamero lapalap ni al en Melkijedek kokolata.
20where Jesus our forerunner has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.
