1We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
1พวกเราที่เข้มแข็งควรแบกรับความอ่อนแอของคนที่อ่อนแอ และไม่เอาใจตนเอง
2Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
2ให้เราแต่ละคนทำให้เพื่อนบ้านพอใจในทางที่ดี เพื่อเสริมสร้างเขา
3For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.
3เพราะแม้พระคริสต์ก็ไม่ได้ทำสิ่งที่เป็นที่พอใจแก่พระองค์เอง แต่เป็นดังที่มีคำเขียนไว้ว่า “คำดูหมิ่นของคนที่ดูหมิ่นพระองค์ตกมาถึงข้าพเจ้า”
4For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
4เพราะสิ่งที่เขียนไว้ก่อนหน้านี้ทั้งหมดก็เขียนไว้เพื่อสอนเรา เพื่อเราจะมีความหวังโดยความอดทนและกำลังใจจากพระคัมภีร์
5Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
5ขอพระเจ้าผู้ประทานความอดทนและกำลังใจ ทรงโปรดให้พวกคุณมีความคิดเป็นอันหนึ่งอันเดียวกันตามพระเยซูคริสต์
6That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
6เพื่อพวกคุณจะพร้อมใจกันยกย่องพระเจ้า ผู้ทรงเป็นพระบิดาของพระเยซูคริสต์ องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเรา ด้วยเสียงเดียวกัน
7Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
7เพราะฉะนั้น จงยอมรับกันและกัน เช่นเดียวกับที่พระคริสต์ทรงยอมรับพวกคุณ เพื่อพระสิริของพระเจ้า
8Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
8ข้าพเจ้าขอบอกว่า พระคริสต์ทรงเป็นผู้รับใช้ของผู้ที่เข้าสุหนัต เพื่อความจริงของพระเจ้า เพื่อยืนยันพระสัญญาที่ประทานแก่บรรพบุรุษ
9And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
9และเพื่อให้คนต่างชาติยกย่องพระเจ้าเพราะความเมตตาของพระองค์ ดังที่มีคำเขียนไว้ว่า “เพราะเหตุนี้ ข้าพเจ้าจะสรรเสริญพระองค์ท่ามกลางคนต่างชาติ และร้องเพลงสรรเสริญพระนามของพระองค์”
10And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.
10และมีคำกล่าวอีกว่า “คนต่างชาติทั้งหลาย จงชื่นชมยินดีร่วมกับประชากรของพระองค์”
11And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
11และอีกว่า “คนต่างชาติทั้งปวง จงสรรเสริญองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า! ให้ชนชาติทั้งหลายสรรเสริญพระองค์”
12And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.
12และอิสยาห์กล่าวอีกว่า “รากของเจสซีจะปรากฏขึ้น คือผู้ที่ลุกขึ้นเพื่อปกครองคนต่างชาติ คนต่างชาติจะฝากความหวังไว้ในพระองค์”
13Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
13ขอพระเจ้าแห่งความหวังทรงเติมพวกคุณให้เต็มด้วยความชื่นชมยินดีและสันติสุขทุกอย่างในการเชื่อ เพื่อพวกคุณจะเปี่ยมล้นด้วยความหวังโดยพลังของพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์
14And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
14พี่น้องของข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าเองก็มั่นใจเกี่ยวกับพวกคุณว่า พวกคุณเองเต็มเปี่ยมด้วยความดีงาม มีความรู้ครบถ้วน และสามารถตักเตือนกันและกันได้
15Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,
15แต่ข้าพเจ้าเขียนบางเรื่องถึงพวกคุณอย่างกล้าตรงไปตรงมามากขึ้น เพื่อเตือนความจำของพวกคุณ เพราะพระคุณที่พระเจ้าประทานแก่ข้าพเจ้า
16That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
16เพื่อข้าพเจ้าจะเป็นผู้รับใช้ของพระเยซูคริสต์แก่คนต่างชาติ ทำหน้าที่ปุโรหิตแห่งข่าวดีของพระเจ้า เพื่อให้คนต่างชาติเป็นเครื่องบูชาที่พระเจ้าทรงยอมรับ ซึ่งพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์ทรงชำระให้บริสุทธิ์
17I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.
17เพราะฉะนั้น ข้าพเจ้าจึงมีสิ่งที่จะอวดในพระเยซูคริสต์ ในเรื่องที่เกี่ยวกับพระเจ้า
18For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,
18เพราะข้าพเจ้าไม่กล้าพูดถึงสิ่งใด นอกจากสิ่งที่พระคริสต์ทรงทำผ่านข้าพเจ้า เพื่อให้คนต่างชาติเชื่อฟัง ทั้งด้วยคำพูดและการกระทำ
19Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
19ด้วยพลังของหมายสำคัญและการอัศจรรย์ ด้วยพลังของพระวิญญาณของพระเจ้า จนข้าพเจ้าได้ประกาศข่าวดีของพระคริสต์อย่างครบถ้วน ตั้งแต่กรุงเยรูซาเล็มและบริเวณโดยรอบ ไปจนถึงแคว้นอิลลีริคุม
20Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation:
20ใช่แล้ว ข้าพเจ้าตั้งเป้าไว้ว่าจะประกาศข่าวดีในที่ที่ยังไม่มีการกล่าวถึงพระนามของพระคริสต์ เพื่อข้าพเจ้าจะไม่สร้างบนรากฐานของผู้อื่น
21But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.
21แต่เป็นดังที่มีคำเขียนไว้ว่า “คนที่ไม่เคยได้รับข่าวเรื่องพระองค์จะได้เห็น และคนที่ไม่เคยได้ยินจะเข้าใจ”
22For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you.
22เพราะเหตุนี้ ข้าพเจ้าจึงถูกขัดขวางหลายครั้งไม่ให้มาหาพวกคุณ
23But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you;
23แต่บัดนี้ ไม่มีที่ใดในภูมิภาคเหล่านี้เหลือสำหรับข้าพเจ้าอีก และข้าพเจ้าปรารถนาจะมาหาพวกคุณเป็นเวลาหลายปีแล้ว
24Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company .
24เมื่อใดที่ข้าพเจ้าเดินทางไปสเปน ข้าพเจ้าจะมาหาพวกคุณ เพราะข้าพเจ้าหวังว่าจะได้พบพวกคุณระหว่างทาง และให้พวกคุณช่วยสนับสนุนข้าพเจ้าในการเดินทางต่อไปที่นั่น หลังจากข้าพเจ้าได้ชื่นใจกับการอยู่ร่วมกับพวกคุณสักระยะหนึ่ง
25But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.
25แต่บัดนี้ ข้าพเจ้ากำลังไปกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม เพื่อรับใช้ผู้บริสุทธิ์
26For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.
26เพราะคนในแคว้นมาซิโดเนียและอาคายายินดีที่จะรวบรวมเงินช่วยเหลือบางส่วนให้คนยากจนในหมู่ผู้บริสุทธิ์ที่กรุงเยรูซาเล็ม
27It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.
27พวกเขายินดีทำเช่นนั้น และที่จริงพวกเขาก็เป็นหนี้คนเหล่านั้น เพราะถ้าคนต่างชาติได้มีส่วนในสิ่งทางจิตวิญญาณของพวกเขา ก็เป็นหนี้ที่จะรับใช้พวกเขาด้วยสิ่งทางวัตถุเช่นกัน
28When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain.
28เพราะฉะนั้น เมื่อข้าพเจ้าทำเรื่องนี้เสร็จ และส่งมอบผลนี้แก่พวกเขาอย่างเรียบร้อยแล้ว ข้าพเจ้าจะเดินทางผ่านพวกคุณไปยังสเปน
29And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.
29ข้าพเจ้ารู้ว่า เมื่อข้าพเจ้ามาหาพวกคุณ ข้าพเจ้าจะมาพร้อมด้วยพระพรแห่งข่าวดีของพระคริสต์อย่างบริบูรณ์
30Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
30พี่น้องทั้งหลาย ข้าพเจ้าขอร้องพวกคุณ โดยพระเยซูคริสต์ องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเรา และโดยความรักของพระวิญญาณ ให้พวกคุณร่วมต่อสู้กับข้าพเจ้าในการอธิษฐานต่อพระเจ้าเพื่อข้าพเจ้า
31That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;
31เพื่อข้าพเจ้าจะพ้นจากคนที่ไม่เชื่อฟังในแคว้นยูเดีย และเพื่องานรับใช้ของข้าพเจ้าสำหรับกรุงเยรูซาเล็มจะเป็นที่ยอมรับของผู้บริสุทธิ์
32That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
32เพื่อข้าพเจ้าจะมาหาพวกคุณด้วยความชื่นชมยินดี ตามความประสงค์ของพระเจ้า และได้พักใจร่วมกับพวกคุณ
33Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
33ขอพระเจ้าแห่งสันติสุขทรงอยู่กับพวกคุณทุกคน อาเมน
