1And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
1พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า
2'Command the children of Israel, and say unto them: When ye come into the land of Canaan, this shall be the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to the borders thereof.
2“จงบัญชาชาวอิสราเอลว่า ‘เมื่อพวกเจ้าเข้าไปในแผ่นดินคานาอัน (แผ่นดินที่จะตกเป็นมรดกของพวกเจ้าคือแผ่นดินคานาอันตามเขตแดนดังต่อไปนี้)
3Thus your south side shall be from the wilderness of Zin close by the side of Edom, and your south border shall begin at the end of the Salt Sea eastward;
3เขตด้านใต้ของพวกเจ้าจะเริ่มจากถิ่นทุรกันดารศินตามแนวแผ่นดินเอโดม และชายแดนใต้จะเริ่มจากปลายทะเลเกลือด้านตะวันออก
4and your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and the goings out thereof shall be southward of Kadesh-barnea; and it shall go forth to Hazar-addar, and pass along to Azmon;
4ชายแดนจะวกไปทางใต้ของทางขึ้นอัครับบิม ผ่านไปยังศิน แล้วทอดไปทางใต้ของคาเดชบารเนีย จากที่นั่นไปยังฮาซาร์อัดดาร์ และผ่านไปยังอัสโมน
5and the border shall turn about from Azmon unto the Brook of Egypt, and the goings out thereof shall be at the Sea.
5จากอัสโมน ชายแดนจะวกไปยังลำธารอียิปต์ และไปสิ้นสุดที่ทะเล
6And for the western border, ye shall have the Great Sea for a border; this shall be your west border.
6“‘สำหรับชายแดนตะวันตก ให้ทะเลใหญ่และชายฝั่งเป็นชายแดน นี่จะเป็นชายแดนตะวันตกของพวกเจ้า
7And this shall be your north border: from the Great Sea ye shall mark out your line unto mount Hor;
7“‘ชายแดนเหนือของพวกเจ้าจะเป็นดังนี้ จงกำหนดแนวเขตจากทะเลใหญ่ไปยังภูเขาโฮร์
8from mount Hor ye shall mark out a line unto the entrance to Hamath; and the goings out of the border shall be at Zedad;
8จากภูเขาโฮร์ จงกำหนดแนวเขตไปยังทางเข้าเมืองฮามัท แล้วชายแดนจะผ่านเศดัด
9and the border shall go forth to Ziphron, and the goings out thereof shall be at Hazar-enan; this shall be your north border.
9จากนั้นชายแดนจะทอดไปยังศิโฟรนและสิ้นสุดที่ฮาซาร์เอนัน นี่จะเป็นชายแดนเหนือของพวกเจ้า
10And ye shall mark out your line for the east border from Hazar-enan to Shepham;
10“‘พวกเจ้าต้องกำหนดชายแดนตะวันออกจากฮาซาร์เอนันไปยังเชฟาม
11and the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down, and shall strike upon the slope of the sea of Chinnereth eastward;
11ชายแดนจะทอดลงจากเชฟามไปยังริบลาห์ทางตะวันออกของอาอิน แล้วทอดลงไปถึงฝั่งทะเลคินเนเรทด้านตะวันออก
12and the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the goings out thereof shall be at the Salt Sea; this shall be your land according to the borders thereof round about.'
12จากนั้นชายแดนจะทอดลงไปตามแม่น้ำจอร์แดน และสิ้นสุดที่ทะเลเกลือ นี่จะเป็นแผ่นดินของพวกเจ้าตามเขตแดนโดยรอบ’”
13And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying: 'This is the land wherein ye shall receive inheritance by lot, which the LORD hath commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;
13โมเสสบัญชาชาวอิสราเอลว่า “นี่คือแผ่นดินที่พวกเจ้าจะได้รับเป็นมรดกโดยการจับฉลาก ซึ่งพระยาห์เวห์ทรงบัญชาให้มอบแก่ 9 เผ่ากับอีกครึ่งเผ่า
14for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers' houses, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers' houses, have received, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance;
14เพราะเผ่าลูกหลานของรูเบนแบ่งตามวงศ์วานฝ่ายบิดา เผ่าลูกหลานของกาดแบ่งตามวงศ์วานฝ่ายบิดา และครึ่งเผ่ามนัสเสห์ ได้รับมรดกของตนแล้ว
15the two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sun-rising.'
15ทั้ง 2 เผ่ากับอีกครึ่งเผ่าได้รับมรดกอีกฟากหนึ่งของแม่น้ำจอร์แดนตรงข้ามเมืองเยรีโค ทางตะวันออก”
16And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
16พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า
17'These are the names of the men that shall take possession of the land for you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
17“ต่อไปนี้คือชื่อของชายที่จะจัดสรรแผ่นดินให้พวกเจ้าเป็นมรดก ได้แก่ เอเลอาซาร์ปุโรหิตกับโยชูวาลูกชายของนูน
18And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to take possession of the land.
18จงเลือกผู้นำจากแต่ละเผ่า เผ่าละ 1 คน เพื่อจัดสรรแผ่นดินเป็นมรดก
19And these are the names of the men: of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
19ต่อไปนี้คือชื่อของคนเหล่านั้น จากเผ่ายูดาห์ คาเลบลูกชายของเยฟุนเนห์
20And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
20จากเผ่าลูกหลานของสิเมโอน เชมูเอลลูกชายของอัมมีฮูด
21Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
21จากเผ่าเบนยามิน เอลีดัดลูกชายของคิสโลน
22And of the tribe of the children of Dan a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli.
22จากเผ่าลูกหลานของดาน ผู้นำคือบุคคีลูกชายของยกลี
23Of the children of Joseph: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod;
23จากลูกหลานของโยเซฟ คือจากเผ่าลูกหลานของมนัสเสห์ ผู้นำคือฮันนีเอลลูกชายของเอโฟด
24and of the tribe of the children of Ephraim a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
24จากเผ่าลูกหลานของเอฟราอิม ผู้นำคือเคมูเอลลูกชายของชิฟทาน
25And of the tribe of the children of Zebulun a prince, Eli-zaphan the son of Parnach.
25จากเผ่าลูกหลานของเศบูลุน ผู้นำคือเอลีซาฟานลูกชายของปารนาค
26And of the tribe of the children of Issachar a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
26จากเผ่าลูกหลานของอิสสาคาร์ ผู้นำคือปัลทีเอลลูกชายของอัสซาน
27And of the tribe of the children of Asher a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
27จากเผ่าลูกหลานของอาเชอร์ ผู้นำคืออาหิฮูดลูกชายของเชโลมี
28And of the tribe of the children of Naphtali a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.
28จากเผ่าลูกหลานของนัฟทาลี ผู้นำคือเปดาห์เอลลูกชายของอัมมีฮูด”
29These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.'
29คนเหล่านี้คือผู้ที่พระยาห์เวห์ทรงบัญชาให้จัดสรรมรดกแก่ชาวอิสราเอลในแผ่นดินคานาอัน
