1And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
1ΚΑΙ ἐλάλησε Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων·
2'Command the children of Israel, and say unto them: When ye come into the land of Canaan, this shall be the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to the borders thereof.
2ἔντειλαι τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς· ὑμεῖς εἰσπορεύεσθε εἰς τὴν γῆν Χαναάν· αὕτη ἔσται ὑμῖν εἰς κληρονομίαν, γῆ Χαναὰν σὺν τοῖς ὁρίοις αὐτῆς.
3Thus your south side shall be from the wilderness of Zin close by the side of Edom, and your south border shall begin at the end of the Salt Sea eastward;
3καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν τὸ κλίτος τὸ πρὸς λίβα ἀπὸ ἐρήμου Σὶν ἕως ἐχόμενον Ἐδώμ, καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν τὰ ὅρια πρὸς λίβα ἀπὸ μέρους τῆς θαλάσσης τῆς ἁλυκῆς ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν·
4and your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and the goings out thereof shall be southward of Kadesh-barnea; and it shall go forth to Hazar-addar, and pass along to Azmon;
4καὶ κυκλώσει ὑμᾶς τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ λιβὸς πρὸς ἀνάβασιν Ἀκραβὶν καὶ παρελεύσεται Σεννά, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτοῦ πρὸς λίβα Κάδης τοῦ Βαρνή. καὶ ἐξελεύσεται εἰς ἔπαυλιν Ἀρὰδ καὶ παρελεύσεται Ἀσεμωνᾶ·
5and the border shall turn about from Azmon unto the Brook of Egypt, and the goings out thereof shall be at the Sea.
5καὶ κυκλώσει τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ Ἀσεμωνᾶ χειμάρρουν Αἰγύπτου, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος ἡ θάλασσα.
6And for the western border, ye shall have the Great Sea for a border; this shall be your west border.
6καὶ τὰ ὅρια τῆς θαλάσσης ἔσται ὑμῖν· ἡ θάλασσα ἡ μεγάλη ὁριεῖ, τοῦτο ἔσται ὑμῖν τὰ ὅρια τῆς θαλάσσης.
7And this shall be your north border: from the Great Sea ye shall mark out your line unto mount Hor;
7καὶ τοῦτο ἔσται ὑμῖν τὰ ὅρια πρὸς βορρᾶν· ἀπὸ τῆς θαλάσσης τῆς μεγάλης καταμετρήσετε ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς παρὰ τὸ ὄρος τὸ ὄρος·
8from mount Hor ye shall mark out a line unto the entrance to Hamath; and the goings out of the border shall be at Zedad;
8καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄρους τὸ ὄρος καταμετρήσετε αὐτοῖς εἰσπορευομένων εἰς Ἐμάθ, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτοῦ τὰ ὅρια Σαραδάκ·
9and the border shall go forth to Ziphron, and the goings out thereof shall be at Hazar-enan; this shall be your north border.
9καὶ ἐξελεύσεται τὰ ὅρια Δεφρωνά, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτοῦ Ἀρσεναΐν· τοῦτο ἔσται ὑμῖν ὅρια ἀπὸ βορρᾶ.
10And ye shall mark out your line for the east border from Hazar-enan to Shepham;
10καὶ καταμετρήσετε ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς τὰ ὅρια ἀνατολῶν ἀπὸ Ἀρσεναΐν Σεπφαμάρ·
11and the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down, and shall strike upon the slope of the sea of Chinnereth eastward;
11καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ Σεπφάμ Ἀρβηλὰ ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν ἐπὶ πηγάς, καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια Βηλὰ ἐπὶ νώτου θαλάσσης Χενερὲθ ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν·
12and the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the goings out thereof shall be at the Salt Sea; this shall be your land according to the borders thereof round about.'
12καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ τὸν Ἰορδάνην, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος θάλασσα ἡ ἁλυκή. αὕτη ἔσται ὑμῖν ἡ γῆ καὶ τὰ ὅρια αὐτῆς κύκλῳ.
13And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying: 'This is the land wherein ye shall receive inheritance by lot, which the LORD hath commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;
13καὶ ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ λέγων· αὕτη ἡ γῆ, ἣν κατακληρονομήσετε αὐτὴν μετὰ κλήρου, ὃν τρόπον συνέταξε Κύριος δοῦναι αὐτὴν ταῖς ἐννέα φυλαῖς καὶ τῷ ἡμίσει φυλῆς Μανασσῆ·
14for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers' houses, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers' houses, have received, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance;
14ὅτι ἔλαβε φυλὴ υἱῶν Ρουβὴν καὶ φυλὴ υἱῶν Γὰδ κατ' οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν, καὶ τὸ ἥμισυ φυλῆς Μανασσῆ ἀπέλαβον τοὺς κλήρους αὐτῶν,
15the two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sun-rising.'
15δύο φυλαὶ καὶ ἥμισυ φυλῆς ἔλαβον τοὺς κλήρους αὐτῶν πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου κατὰ Ἱεριχὼ ἀπὸ νότου κατὰ ἀνατολάς.
16And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
16Καὶ ἐλάλησε Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων·
17'These are the names of the men that shall take possession of the land for you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
17ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν ἀνδρῶν, οἳ κληρονομήσουσιν ὑμῖν τὴν γῆν· Ἐλεάζαρ ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ Ἰησοῦς ὁ τοῦ Ναυή.
18And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to take possession of the land.
18καὶ ἄρχοντα ἕνα ἐκ φυλῆς λήψεσθε κατακληρονομῆσαι ὑμῖν τὴν γῆν.
19And these are the names of the men: of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
19καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν ἀνδρῶν· τῆς φυλῆς Ἰούδα Χάλεβ υἱὸς Ἰεφοννή·
20And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
20τῆς φυλῆς Συμεὼν Σαλαμιὴλ υἱὸς Ἐμιούδ·
21Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
21τῆς φυλῆς Βενιαμὶν Ἐλδὰδ υἱὸς Χασλών·
22And of the tribe of the children of Dan a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli.
22τῆς φυλῆς Δὰν ἄρχων Βακχὶρ υἱὸς Ἐγλί·
23Of the children of Joseph: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod;
23τῶν υἱῶν Ἰωσὴφ φυλῆς υἱῶν Μανασσῆ ἄρχων Ἀνιὴλ υἱὸς Σουφί·
24and of the tribe of the children of Ephraim a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
24τῆς φυλῆς υἱῶν Ἐφραὶμ ἄρχων Καμουὴλ υἱὸς Σαβαθᾶν·
25And of the tribe of the children of Zebulun a prince, Eli-zaphan the son of Parnach.
25τῆς φυλῆς Ζαβουλὼν ἄρχων Ἐλισαφὰν υἱὸς Φαρνάχ·
26And of the tribe of the children of Issachar a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
26τῆς φυλῆς υἱῶν Ἰσσάχαρ ἄρχων Φαλτιὴλ υἱὸς Ὀζᾶ·
27And of the tribe of the children of Asher a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
27τῆς φυλῆς υἱῶν Ἀσὴρ ἄρχων Ἀχιὼρ υἱὸς Σελεμί·
28And of the tribe of the children of Naphtali a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.
28τῆς φυλῆς Νεφθαλὶ ἄρχων Φαδαὴλ υἱὸς Ἰαμιούδ.
29These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.'
29τούτοις ἐνετείλατο Κύριος καταμερίσαι τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ ἐν γῇ Χαναάν.
