1(5-27) The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

2(5-28) And the sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

4(5-30) Eleazar begot Phinehas, Phinehas begot Abishua;

5(5-31) and Abishua begot Bukki, and Bukki begot Uzzi;

6(5-32) and Uzzi begot Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begot Meraioth;

11(5-37) and Azariah begot Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub;

15(5-41) and Jehozadak went into captivity, when the LORD carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

16(6-1) The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath and Merari.
16Оце ж Левіїні сини: Гирсон, Кагат та Мерарій.
17(6-2) And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni, and Shimei.
17Це ймення Гирсонових синів: Ливнїй та Шимей.
18(6-3) And the sons of Kohath were Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.
18Сини Кагатові: Амрам, Ізгар, Хеврон та Узиїл.
19(6-4) The sons of Merari: Mahli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers' houses.
19Сини Мераріїні: Махлі та Муші. Оце нащадки Левіїні по їх родах.
20(6-5) Of Gershom: Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son;

21(6-6) Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeatherai his son.

22(6-7) The sons of Kohath: Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son;

23(6-8) Elkanah his son, and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son;

25(6-10) And the sons of Elkanah: Amasai, and Ahimoth.

26(6-11) As for Elkanah: the sons of Elkanah: Zophai his son, and Nahath his son;

27(6-12) Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son.

28(6-13) And the sons of Samuel: the first-born Vashni; then Abiah.
28Сини Самуїлові: найстарший Йоіл, другий Абія.
29(6-14) The sons of Merari: Mahli; Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son;
29Сини Мераріїні: Махлі; Ливні, його син; Шимей, його син; Уза, його син;
30(6-15) Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.
30Шима, його син; Хаггія, його син; Асаїя, його син.
31(6-16) And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.
31Оце ті, котрих Давид настановив старшинами над сьпівцями в домі Господньому від часу, як поставив в йому скриню завіту.
32(6-17) And they ministered with song before the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem; and they took their station at their service according to their order.
32Вони служили сьпівцями в наметї соборньому, доки Соломон не збудував Господнього дому в Ерусалимі. І вони ставали на свою службу по своєму порядку.
33(6-18) And these are they that took their station, and their sons. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman the singer, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel;
33Оце ті, що ставали з своїми синами: з синів Кагатових — Еман сьпівець, син Йоїла, сина Самуїлового,
34(6-19) the son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah;
34Сина Елканового, сина Ерохамового, сина Елиїлиного, сина Тоахового,
35(6-20) the son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai;
35Сина Зуфового, сина Елканового, сина Махатового, сина Амасаїного,
36(6-21) the son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah;

37(6-22) the son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah;

38(6-23) the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.
38Сина Ізгарового, сина Кагатового, сина Левіїного, сина Ізрайлевого,
39(6-24) And his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand; even Asaph the son of Berechiah, the son of Shimea;
39І його брат Асаф, що стояв праворуч в його, — Асаф, син Берехії, сина Шиминого,
40(6-25) the son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchijah;
40Сина Михаїлового, сина Ваасеїного, сина Малхіїного,
41(6-26) the son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah;
41Сина Ефнїїного, сина Зерахового, сина Адаїного,
42(6-27) the son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei;
42Сина Етанового, сина Зимминого, сина Шимієвого,
43(6-28) the son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.
43Сина Яхатового, сина Герсонового, сина Левіїного.
44(6-29) And on the left hand their brethren the sons of Merari: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch;
44А з Мераріїних синів, їх братів, — лїворуч: Етан, син Кишія, сина Авдієвого, сина Маллухового,
45(6-30) the son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah;
45Сина Хашавіїного, сина Амасіїного, сина Хелкіїного.
46(6-31) the son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shemer;
46Сина Амзієвого, сина Ванієвого, сина Шемерового,
47(6-32) the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.
47Сина Махлїєвого, сина Мушієвого, сина Мераріїного, сина Левіїного.
48(6-33) And their brethren the Levites were appointed for all the service of the tabernacle of the house of God.
48А брати їх левіти, настановляні до всяких послуг при домі Божому;
49(6-34) But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of burnt-offering, and upon the altar of incense, for all the work of the most holy place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
49Аарон же та сини його палили на жертовникові всепалення, і на жертовникові кадильному, й служили всяку службу в Сьвятому Сьвятих, та задля очищення Ізраїля у всьому, як наказав слуга Божий Мойсей.
50(6-35) And these are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son;
50Оце сини Ааронові: Елеазар, його син; Пинегас, його син; Абіуд, його син;
51(6-36) Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son;
51Буккій, його син; Узій, його син; Захарія, його син;
52(6-37) Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son;
52Мерайот, його син; Амарія, його син; Ахитув, його син;
53(6-38) Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.
53Садок, його син; Ахимаас, його син.
54(6-39) Now these are their dwelling-places according to their encampments in their borders: to the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, for theirs was the first lot,
54А оце житла їх по їх оселях в гряницях їх: Аароновим синам по родах Кагатових, після того, як випав їм жереб,
55(6-40) to them they gave Hebron in the land of Judah, and the open land round about it;
55Дали Геброн, у землї Юдиній, з передмістями його навкруги його;
56(6-41) but the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
56А поля цього міста та села його віддали Калебові Ефонїєнкові.
57(6-42) And to the sons of Aaron they gave the city of refuge, Hebron; Libnah also with the open land about it, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa with the open land about it;
57Аароновим дїтям дали ще міста охоронні: Геброн та Либну з їх передмістями; Яттур та Ештемо й його передмістя,
58(6-43) and Hilen with the open land about it, Debir with the open land about it;
58І Хилен (Холон) та його передмістя, Дабир і його передмістя,
59(6-44) and Ashan with the open land about it, and Beth-shemesh with the open land about it;
59І Аїн та його передмістя, Бетсамис і його передмістя.
60(6-45) and out of the tribe of Benjamin: Geba with the open land about it, and Alemeth with the open land about it, and Anathoth with the open land about it. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.
60А від поколїння Беняминового — Геву та її передмістя, й Аллемет (Алмон) та його передмістя, і Анатот та його передмістя: усїх їх міст в їх родинах — трийцять міст.
61(6-46) And unto the rest of the sons of Kohath were given by lot, out of the family of the tribe, out of the half-tribe, the half of Manasseh, ten cities.
61Останнїм із Кагатових синів із родин того поколїння дано жеребом десять міст з надїлу половини Манассіїного поколїння.
62(6-47) And to the sons of Gershom, according to their families, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
62Герсоновим синам по їх родинах, від Іссахарового поколїння, й від Ассерового поколїння, і від Нефталїєвого поколїння, й від Манассієвого поколїння в Базанї дано трийцять міст.
63(6-48) Unto the sons of Merari were given by lot, according to their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
63Мераріїним синам по їх родинах, від Рубенового поколїння й від Гадового поколїння, й від Зебулонового поколїння дано жеребом дванайцять міст.
64(6-49) So the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities with the open land about them.
64Оттак Ізрайлеві сини дали Левітам міста та їх передмістя.
65(6-50) And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which are mentioned by name.
65Дали вони жеребом від поколїння Юдиних дїтей й від поколїння Симеонових дїтей, й від поколїння Беняминових дїтей ті міста, котрі вони назвали іменням своїм.
66(6-51) And some of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.
66А деяким родинам синів Кагатових дано міста від поколїння Ефраїмового.
67(6-52) And they gave unto them the city of refuge, Shechem in the hill-country of Ephraim with the open land about it; Gezer also with the open land about it;
67І дали їм міста охоронні: Сихем і передмістя його на Ефраїмових горах, і Гебер та передмістя його,
68(6-53) and Jokmeam with the open land about it, and Bethhoron with the open land about it;
68І Йокнеам та передмістя його, й Бет-Орон та передмістя його,
69(6-54) and Aijalon with the open land about it, and Gath-rimmon with the open land about it;
69І Аялон та передмістя його, й Гат-Риммон та передмістя його;
70(6-55) and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh: Aner with the open land about it, and Bileam with the open land about it, for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath.
70Від половини Манассіїного поколїння — Анер і передмістя його, Білеам і передмістя його. Се родинам останнїх потомків Кагатових.
71(6-56) Unto the sons of Gershom were given, out of the family of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with the open land about it, and Ashtaroth with the open land about it;
71Герсоновим потомкам від половини поколїння Манассіїного дали Голан у Базанї з передмістями його, і Астарот із передмістями його.
72(6-57) and out of the tribe of Issachar: Kedesh with the open land about it, Dobrath with the open land about it;
72Від Іссахарового поколїння — Кедес і передмістя його, Даверат і передмістя його,
73(6-58) and Ramoth with the open land about it, and Anem with the open land about it;
73І Рамот та передмістя його, й Анем та передмістя його;
74(6-59) and out of the tribe of Asher: Mashal with the open land about it, and Abdon with the open land about it;
74Від Ассерового поколїння — Мишал і передмістя його;
75(6-60) and Hukok with the open land about it; and Rehob with the open land about it;
75І Хукок та передмістя його, і Регоб із передмістями його;
76(6-61) and out of the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee with the open land about it, and Hammon with the open land about it, and Kiriathaim with the open land about it.
76Від Нефталїєвого поколїння — Кедес у Галилеї з передмістями його, та Хаммон і передмістя його.
77(6-62) Unto the rest of the Levites, the sons of Merari, were given, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmono with the open land about it, Tabor with the open land about it;
77А для инших Мераріїних потомків — від Зебулонового поколїння — Риммон і передмістя його, Тавор і передмістя його.
78(6-63) and beyond the Jordan at Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, were given them, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with the open land about it, and Jahaz with the open land about it,
78По той бік Йорданї, насупроти Ерихону, на схід від Йорданї, — від Рубенового поколїння дали Безер у пустинї з передмістями його, й Яазу та передмістя його;
79(6-64) and Kedemoth with the open land about it, and Mephaath with the open land about it;
79І Кадемот та передмістя його, й Мефаат та передмістя його;
80(6-65) and out of the tribe of Gad: Ramoth in Gilead with the open land about it, and Mahanaim with the open land about it,

81(6-66) and Heshbon with the open land about it, and Jazer with the open land about it.
