1主は、大祭司ヨシュアが主の使いの前に立ち、サタンが彼を訴えるためにその右に立っているのを私に見せられた。
1And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.
2主はサタンに言われた。「サタンよ、主があなたを叱責される。エルサレムを選ばれた主が、あなたを叱責される。これは火の中から取り出された燃えさしではないか。」
2And the LORD said unto Satan: 'The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan, yea, the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee; is not this man a brand plucked out of the fire?'
3ヨシュアは汚れた衣を着て、御使いの前に立っていた。
3Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
4御使いは、自分の前に立っている者たちに命じた。「彼から汚れた衣を脱がせよ。」そしてヨシュアに言った。「見よ、私はあなたの不義を取り除いた。あなたに晴れ着を着せよう。」
4And he answered and spoke unto those that stood before him, saying: 'Take the filthy garments from off him.' And unto him he said: 'Behold, I cause thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with robes.'
5私は言った。「彼の頭に清いターバンをかぶせてください。」 そこで彼らはその頭に清いターバンをかぶせ、彼に衣を着せた。主の使いはそばに立っていた。
5And I said: 'Let them set a fair mitre upon his head.' So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments; and the angel of the LORD stood by.
6主の使いはヨシュアに厳かに告げた。
6And the angel of the LORD forewarned Joshua, saying:
7「万軍の主はこう言われる。『あなたが私の道を歩み、私の命令を守るなら、あなたは私の家を治め、私の宮の庭を守る。また、ここに立っている者たちの間を行き来することを、あなたに許す。
7'Thus saith the LORD of hosts: If thou wilt walk in My ways, and if thou wilt keep My charge, and wilt also judge My house, and wilt also keep My courts, then I will give thee free access among these that stand by.
8大祭司ヨシュアよ、今、聞け。あなたと、あなたの前に座る仲間たちは、しるしとなる人々である。見よ、私は私のしもべ、若枝を来させる。
8Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou and thy fellows that sit before thee; for they are men that are a sign; for, behold, I will bring forth My servant the Shoot.
9見よ、私がヨシュアの前に置いた石を。一つの石に七つの目がある。見よ、私はそれに文字を刻む』と万軍の主は言われる。『私は一日のうちに、この地の不義を取り除く。
9For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone are seven facets; behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts: And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
10その日』と万軍の主は言われる。『あなたがたはそれぞれ、隣人をぶどうの木といちじくの木の下に招く。』」
10In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig-tree.
