1On the first day of the week, a psalm for David. The earth is the Lord’s and the fulness thereof: the world, and all they that dwell therein.
1Ko hoku tauhi ʻa Sihova; ʻe ʻikai te u masiva.
2For he hath founded it upon the seas; and hath prepared it upon the rivers.
2ʻOku ne fakatokoto au ʻi he ngaahi ngoue lau maʻuiʻui: ʻoku ne tataki au ki he veʻe vai ʻoku tafetafemālie.
3Who shall ascend into the mountain of the Lord: or who shall stand in his holy place?
3ʻOku ne fakamoʻui hoku laumālie: ʻoku ne tataki au ʻi he ngaahi hala ʻoe māʻoniʻoni koeʻuhi ko hono huafa.
4The innocent in hands, and clean of heart, who hath not taken his soul in vain, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbour.
4ʻIo, neongo ʻeku ʻeveʻeva ʻi he teleʻa ʻoe malumalu ʻoe mate, ʻe ʻikai te u manavahē ki ha kovi: he ʻoku ke ʻiate au; ko hoʻo vaʻa ʻakau mo ho tokotoko ʻoku na fakafiemālieʻi au.
5He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God his Saviour.
5ʻOku ke teuteu ʻae keinangaʻanga maʻaku ʻi he ʻao ʻo hoku ngaahi fili: ʻoku ke pani ʻaki hoku ʻulu ʻae lolo; ʻoku fonu mahuohua ʻa ʻeku ipu.
6This is the generation of them that seek him, of them that seek the face of the God of Jacob.
6Ko e moʻoni ʻe muimui ʻiate au ʻae lelei mo e ʻaloʻofa ʻi he ʻaho kotoa pē ʻo ʻeku moʻui: pea te u nofo ʻi he fale ʻo Sihova ʻo lauikuonga.
7Lift up your gates, O ye princes, and be ye lifted up, O eternal gates: and the King of Glory shall enter in.
