1所以，你們該效法上帝，好像蒙慈愛的兒女一樣。
1Be ye therefore followers of God, as most dear children;
2也要憑愛心行事，正如基督愛我們，為我們捨了自己，當作馨香的供物和祭物，獻與上帝。
2And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath delivered himself for us, an oblation and a sacrifice to God for an odour of sweetness.
3至於淫亂並一切污穢，或是貪婪，在你們中間連提都不可，方合聖徒的體統。
3But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not so much as be named among you, as becometh saints:
4淫詞、妄語，和戲笑的話都不相宜；總要說感謝的話。
4Or obscenity, or foolish talking, or scurrility, which is to no purpose; but rather giving of thanks.
5因為你們確實地知道，無論是淫亂的，是污穢的，是有貪心的，在基督和上帝的國裏都是無分的。有貪心的，就與拜偶像的一樣。
5For know you this and understand, that no fornicator, or unclean, or covetous person (which is a serving of idols), hath inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6不要被人虛浮的話欺哄；因這些事，上帝的忿怒必臨到那悖逆之子。
6Let no man deceive you with vain words. For because of these things cometh the anger of God upon the children of unbelief.
7所以，你們不要與他們同夥。
7Be ye not therefore partakers with them.
8從前你們是暗昧的，但如今在主裏面是光明的，行事為人就當像光明的子女。
8For you were heretofore darkness, but now light in the Lord. Walk then as children of the light.
9光明所結的果子就是一切良善、公義、誠實。
9For the fruit of the light is in all goodness, and justice, and truth;
10總要察驗何為主所喜悅的事。
10Proving what is well pleasing to God:
11那暗昧無益的事，不要與人同行，倒要責備 行這事的人 ；
11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12因為他們暗中所行的，就是提起來也是可恥的。
12For the things that are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of.
13凡事受了責備，就被光顯明出來，因為一切能顯明的就是光。
13But all things that are reproved, are made manifest by the light; for all that is made manifest is light.
14所以 主 說： 你這睡着的人當醒過來， 從死裏復活！ 基督就要光照你了。
14Wherefore he saith: Rise thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead: and Christ shall enlighten thee.
15你們要謹慎行事，不要像愚昧人，當像智慧人。
15See therefore, brethren, how you walk circumspectly: not as unwise,
16要愛惜光陰，因為現今的世代邪惡。
16But as wise: redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17不要作糊塗人，要明白主的旨意如何。
17Wherefore become not unwise, but understanding what is the will of God.
18不要醉酒，酒能使人放蕩；乃要被 聖 靈充滿。
18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is luxury; but be ye filled with the holy Spirit,
19當用詩章、頌詞、靈歌彼此對說，口唱心和地讚美主。
19Speaking to yourselves in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual canticles, singing and making melody in your hearts to the Lord;
20凡事要奉我們主耶穌基督的名常常感謝父上帝。
20Giving thanks always for all things, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to God and the Father:
21又當存敬畏基督的心，彼此順服。
21Being subject one to another, in the fear of Christ.
22你們作妻子的， 當順服 自己的丈夫，如同 順服 主。
22Let women be subject to their husbands, as to the Lord:
23因為丈夫是妻子的頭，如同基督是教會的頭；他又是 教會 全體的救主。
23Because the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ is the head of the church. He is the saviour of his body.
24教會怎樣順服基督，妻子也要怎樣凡事順服丈夫。
24Therefore as the church is subject to Christ, so also let the wives be to their husbands in all things.
25你們作丈夫的，要愛你們的妻子，正如基督愛教會，為教會捨己。
25Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church, and delivered himself up for it:
26要用水藉着道把教會洗淨，成為聖潔，
26That he might sanctify it, cleansing it by the laver of water in the word of life:
27可以獻給自己，作個榮耀的教會，毫無玷污、皺紋等類的病，乃是聖潔沒有瑕疵的。
27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any; such thing; but that it should be holy, and without blemish.
28丈夫也當照樣愛妻子，如同愛自己的身子；愛妻子便是愛自己了。
28So also ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife, loveth himself.
29從來沒有人恨惡自己的身子，總是保養顧惜，正像基督待教會一樣，
29For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, as also Christ doth the church:
30因我們是他身上的肢體。
30Because we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31為這個緣故，人要離開父母，與妻子連合，二人成為一體。
31For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they shall be two in one flesh.
32這是極大的奧祕，但我是指着基督和教會說的。
32This is a great sacrament; but I speak in Christ and in the church.
33然而，你們各人都當愛妻子，如同愛自己一樣。妻子也當敬重她的丈夫。
33Nevertheless let every one of you in particular love his wife as himself: and let the wife fear her husband.
